So does this mean our older models are obsolete? Do I have to buy a whole new blackbox to make future accesories compatible? Like with the new rudder pedals or throttle? I own an older pair of gunfighter with space joysticks. 🕹 🕹
@VKBSim Wow, thank you for that, thank you for not becoming Apple. I'll look forward to a future purchase on some of your products as I expand my cockpit.
I've been looking into getting a flight stick and I'm really liking your products. My only question, is the table-top base removable so I can mount it to your UCM Desk Mounts? I haven't seen any mention that it's removable and would like to avoid issues if I buy the wrong one. Thank you.
My brand new space combat premium left hand's buttons not working right out of the box. Power indicator on the handle turns on when USB plugged in and then goes away.
$930 dollars for the gunfighter IV…VKB was always a value proposition when compared to Virpil…now that price differential and value proposition is gone, I think I’ll just go Virpil as there is no real incentive to buy a lesser product for same dollars.
@@velocitymg Gunfighter 4 with SCG grip is $349 and with MCGU grip $509 on the NA website www.vkbcontrollers.com/collections/gunfighter-series Maybe you're referring to the Australian website? If that's the case, that price is in Aus Dollars and includes the local tax too, same with shipping from China to Aus.
OK, so glad I found this video. I'm in day 2 of struggling to get my new Gunfighter configured. The X/Y axis all work fine (as per video), but none of the buttons or brake lever, etc are being recognised. Anyone have any ideas?
2 things could happen: grip not properly seated (release the fastener, make sure the grip is all the way in, tighten the fastener) or not initialized (run VKBDevCfg, select the device at the top, click the Default button under the Tools tab, click Yes to the configure popup, click Yes to the calibration popup, then calibrate). Does that work with a Black Box MKII / Gun Fighter MKIII as well? Because it certainly is cool.

Definitely not! It's just a new model; the previous models will also get firmware and software updates.

Of course it's detachable, you could see here the process: ua-cam.com/video/3FcdZxAX76A/v-deo.html

Probably need to make sure all is hooked up right. Surely you've figured it out by now. Curious what did you find?
Does this new base support the SCG grip?
It supports all our grips, it they're on RevC connector.
