This is, I think, my current fav CS series on YT. It just has such a distinct look and feel, and I love the custom edited residential lots you're using. I really love the suburban expansion, and can't wait to see the suburbs really grow around the city centre.
You may not think it, but you definitely have the best East Coast suburbs in this game. The housing style is perfect for a really old city. So is that mixed zoning.
Rewatching this series, I got a bone to pick with you, Pres. Those aren't NYC style buildings, those are Philly style buildings. 😁😂 sorry, i'm from Philly. Hahaha I realized how much I loved this New Windsor series.
Make some abandoned looking industrial area, with repurposed queens-looking workers housing around it, maybe next to the oil power plant, some thing out of the industrial revolution rusting away, some Art Deco/ Greco-Romano looking buildings, preferably next or close to the university, like MIT in Cambridge.
I had an idea, maybe good, maybe not (I've never play at CS) You should create very detailled place (with a thousand of props in for exemple) and convert it in 1 big prop! (Like the old parking lot VS the new parking lot, after, you have to place all the parking space 1 by one, now you have big props with a crazy amount of it! For exemple, your "old but still using new engand power plant" is composed of 200 props at least! Imagine if you take it and convert all in 1 or 2 props? Same for your "brick parking lot" than you've build in live (at least 70/80 props in), you convert it in 1 prop, replace it and win some small fps! And create your own private asset with this building for not overload a map with asset.
So are you thinking of incorporating anything from the new Parklife expansion? Or would that mess with the save/require too many props/take up too much space/etc.
U good I got used to Xbox 1s cities skylines then it broke and I got a PC and got cities skylines on the PC and I suck also thx for all the hearts I can’t express how much I appreciate you and autumn was a good design, Your boy, Priceless Gamer
I've been looking a TON at Portland and actually, it seems like it will be the primary inspiration for a good amount of what's coming in the series!! If you wanna send me photos of things you think I should build that would be awesome too, just send me a tweet!
Great video again, Pres! I enjoy every single one of them. :) Especially the realistic look of your city. One questions about the cars: Do you use a mod to change the models or colours? Mine always look too saturated and colourful which gives my game a comic-like look. :-/

OMG! I just noticed how you slow down the ingame speed for the sped up portion! It so awesome how everything moves in real time! I love it!
By far the best Cities Skylines player on you tube.. No question!!
8:30 beautiful Idea for a retaining wall
13:37 It's pronounced 'Wuss-ter', not 'Wer-ster'. Alternatively, if you live there, you have a crazy accent and say 'Wuss-tah'.

I don't know how to model, so that would be incredibly difficult. I wish!
You can save a lot on props by making roads with fallen leaves decals already on them. Maybe an idea!
Problem is my road textures wouldn’t carry over.
So are you thinking of incorporating anything from the new Parklife expansion? Or would that mess with the save/require too many props/take up too much space/etc.
Seems massively useless to New Windsor tbh
Marinary there is so much stuff on that I'd do a separate area and do a amusement area and a camping spot .if I had a PC that is
U good I got used to Xbox 1s cities skylines then it broke and I got a PC and got cities skylines on the PC and I suck also thx for all the hearts I can’t express how much I appreciate you and autumn was a good design,

If you're doing a waterfront area take at the waterfront areas in Portland, Maine. It's a classic New England seaport
Yea, I’m definitely gonna be taking inspiration from Portland!
Pres if you need photos that aren't available on Google Maps or online, I'm happy to get them. I'm a local

Try Advanced Vehicle Options
Pres I will! :) Can't believe I don't already have. I play since release date but I didn't know about this mod yet.
Holy shit, I love your trees. How do u make them look like this?
Love this series! One question though, how did you get such realistic trafficstreams with so little inhabitants?
Idk really. I have a lot of outside connections.
I wish I could do that, but my roads don't zone no more for whatever dumb reason.
Hey mate, love your videos.
Quick question: what road textures do you use?
Local textures I've edited (base is Roads United: US Edition)
Do you plan on doin the airport and MBTA commuter train line? Would be a great addition to the city. Anyways, the city is starting to get really big.
There will be an Amtrak line (going to try to replicate the northeast corridor)
What mod or texture is being used for the roads??? Amazing
Local textures
Maybe you can add some Europeanism with the introduction of trams? Traffic is a nightmare on some points.
Cool!!
How did you change the color of the railings and steel barrings under and on the bridges?
Local textures for my roads
What mod makes placing fences curved style like you do?
Prop Line Tool
Pres it always gets disconnected or just straight
Reminds me of watch dogs 1
what's the music?
Hi, what map theme are you using?
I show my theme mixer settings in my How to Make Cities Skylines Look Realistic tutorial
At 17:19 does anyone notice the house burning down?
