Hope you guys had a great time. Even though you didn't get to many birds, I bet it was a great memory for all three of you!
Wonderful outing with family!
Thanks for taking us along! Looks like a fun time!
nothing better than quail! looks like an awesome trip
I love quail! Here’s how I cook them. Use a cornmeal mix and season it to taste. Dredge a moist quail breast in the cornmeal and deep fry. OMGosh, they are so delicious. 😋 I hope y’all have a successful hunt.
Looks like a fun trip. GOD bless Y'all.
I’m watching this while getting ready to go hunt 😅❤ love y’all ❤
About a year after I got married we took a trip with my folks and a 16’ camper from Ohio to Laredo Tx, we got about an hour away and hear a squeak from the hub as we turned in for gas. Dad had upgraded the hubs to braking hubs before we left. Both hub caps were gone and greese everywhere. We pulled into a rural king parking lot and unhitched and jacked her up. Sure enough he had put strait hubs on a tapered axel. My wife was almost in tears thinking the trip was ruined and we would have to cancel. Dad made a trip to tractor supply and came back with a new hub, trial and error and three hubs later we had it. Packed the berrings and swapped them both out. About 4 hours total. We were glad the hubs fit, our next step would have been to replace the axel. We used two pop bottoms for hub caps until we made it to a store and ate a couple cans of Vienna sausages. Come to think of it I thinks it’s still running Vienna sausage hub caps to this day. One of a hundred stories I could tell about my old man.
Thanks for the content!
Been watching for a while, never knew you were an Aggie. Quickly just became my favorite UA-cam channel👍🏽
That's cool!
That's pretty much the same way I hunt in Arizona. Not around oil fields, of course, but on roads around ranches. It can be pretty productive.
I like your gun rack setup! That's sweet! well done!
Hey yall good afternoon
A bad day of hunting is better than a good day of working! By the way those legs are called “running gear”. 😂. A good hunting buddy of mine taught me that while dove hunting in west Texas!
R and R'd a 13 speed Roadranger transmission from a Kenworth alongside a road in Dell Montana. Dead of winter near the top of the Continental Divide. Wind blew the entire day. That was brutal.
I didnt do a repair in a parking lot but i did completely rebuild an automatic transmission in the back bathroom of a mobile home. With a 2 in stone driveway & no outside cover. I had troublestabbing it back. My 140 lb next door neighbor came over and literally cawled under the transmission and almost instantly stab the transmission. Dad always said " poor people have poor ways"
Y’all need to come to Ga for a quail hunt!!
Great gun racks!
The peta people gonna be after you now Cody 😂
Nice!! My biggest isn’t really that big of a deal but it was the location of where I had to do it. Had to to change flat on side on highway with basically 3 feet wide from tire to road line paint to work on tire. It was the most scariest thing I ever had to do and I went swimming in the ocean with sharks on vacation. It was on Florida highway so cars was flying by nonstop. I think I changed that tire faster then a nascar pit crew 😂😂😂
Awesome to see something different all you need now is someone to video you guys hunting them
Exactly. Maybe they’ll invite me next year 💁🏻♀️😂 But I’d be wanting to hunt so… 😂😂
@@Bar7Ranch i dont blame you get you all some gun cams and gopro's on your heads👍
@@daltonsims4799 Don’t say GoPro to Cody 😂 he’s a hater. We’d have to have 20 batteries a day 😂😂😂
@@Bar7Ranch tell him dont be a baby it wont hurt him to do it one time a year for us during hunting season we all would love to see all 3 of you hunting
Well I’d definitely say 2 birds are definitely better than getting skunked for sure!!! At least you all got one or more for sure!!! Awesome video but I definitely wish we could have seen you all doing some shooting for the birds!!! Next year you will have to setup a go pro on the Can Am!!!
I had to replace a broken axle on a friend of mine’s pickup. He decided he wanted to try crawling over a boulder barrier except he wasn’t crawling. He gunned it and twisted the axle off in the diff 😂
I live in Carlsbad we hunt around here all the time great video keep it up buddy
❤❤
I’ve drilled a lot of oil wells over in that area
We did a wheel bearing on a Chevy K30 on 35s in a doctors office parking lot
Hi how is your cows 🐄 and calefs doing good luck with your family your son does a good job bar 7 ranch
U bolts slipped back on the leaf springs pulled the drive shaft straight out the transmission of my 1997 c1500 thank god it was lifted since im a big boy but threw some rocks under the tires got under her loosened the u bolts a bit and with the drive shaft on my chest and 2 ratchet straps one on each side of me wrapped around the rear axle and front lower control arms i managed to get the drive shaft back in and tighten the u bolts and be on my way all on the side of I35 right outside of Temple Tx coming from San Antonio i thought i would never get the drive shaft to line back up with the trans
Theres vegans passing out all over the country watching you clean the bird.
Dang was hoping for a shoot, clean and cook style video. I’m curious to how y’all whip up those birds
Yeh he didn’t have enough hands to getting any shooting. Got the clean in there!
Wow you are just down the road. It has been so dry here. The best place to hunt is somewhere near a pond. We had a bunch of them on our place about 3 years ago. Have only seen 2 this year. Its so hard on them to find water. The coyotes are over populated to since they took the bounty off them. Sorry you didn't get as much as you needed. Hope you had fun anyway.
First ✝️
