I live just outside of Austin and the story goes that Yam thought he was being upstaged and loosing his identity. A few people even said that they liked Spite reviews better. If Yams ego was getting damaged it would explain the departure. If I owned a channel like that I would offer several different content creators to do their own reviews and allow them there own style of production. I don’t like Yam because he slams to many good bikes like HONDA for being boring. And then there is ZERO that he calls a scam. He blew it and everyday when he comes to work he has to edit the bad comments on his videos. It was also the way he let him go that was completely absurd, doing it in a video?
Hey Scott, thanks for watching and commenting. I agree, I'd spin off several sub genres to the channel. They seemed like they were going in that direction until Spite's departure.
He had the perfect situation and attempted to destroy it. How many subscribers do you think you need to make say 50k a year? I wonder how long it takes to establish?
I agree. He constantly badmouths people who ride GSXR’s (but seems to forget his ‘BUSA is one 😂) and certain other bikes just because he personally dislikes them. He can’t give fair unbiased reviews of bikes because of his personal opinion, and not based on facts.
If you see your boss be a turd to someone else, your turn is coming eventually. It would be smart for anyone to start looking after what he did to spite.
I saw that. It was great to see Whitney collab with Spite. That's a good indication that there is no bad blood among the staff and that Yammie is cool with them workign together. I checked the staff page at YM.com and she is still showing as part of the team.
I said it on the video where Spite got fired: Yam showed everyone that there's no loyalty or job security, and that everyone's a replaceable cog in the machine. You can't expect people to not jump ship under those conditions. People like to feel respected, appreciated, and know they'll still have a job as long as their work's good.
I'll be honest Yammie Noob's channel was getting stale. Yam wants to push volume over quality and he's had a lot of business aspirations that just weren't realistic. The bike sharing business being one of them.
According to his linkedin. In Oct he no longer worked at Yammie Noob and started working as a Tech Sales Rep for Office Depot. Then he became the Marketing Manager for G-Force Powersports in Denver CO. I won't speculate the why's, but that's what happened to him.
Whitney has left now as well. She is working on projects with Spite. Yammie has taken down his staff page altogether. His view count is down significantly so his revenue must have taken quite a hit. He is no longer producing his Yamcast either. Meantime, Spite goes from strength to strength. Karma’s a bitch.
The best videos Yammie put out were Spite/Yammie. They would each ride the bike and give feedback. Spite was a bigger guy, and he gave you that perspective. Spite also liked different styles of bikes than Yammie. Now that he's gone Yammie solo is blah, and the Yam cast with Whitney,,,ARGGGGGGGG
Employees are expensive and finding people that are worth the money you pay can be very hard. He could be cutting his team down to the best people. You can let go of the extra, which frees up money to pay your top performers a very good salary. I understand his position on Spite and his decision to let him go, but at the same time, it was an absolute Master Class on how not to do something. Call them in privately, and tell them their services are no longer needed. If they are entitled to a severance, then give it to them along with a letter of recommendation. Don't drag it out or talk about feelings just get straight to the point, don't waste your time or theirs.
I was wondering about possible financial issues, one thing I noticed is giveaway bikes on the channel now take longer to be given away which means less giveaways in a year. The most recent couple bikes will take 6 months instead of 4, so no longer is a bike from each tier given away every month. He said in a recent video (as a brief mention) its to have a longer time with each bike for more content. But that makes no sense, as more bikes = more content. So I was wonderding if he could not afford to buy another bike each month anymore.
After watching yet another bike review vid where the yam relentlessly dissed a reasonably decent brand and model, I was done. Looks like he got too big for his helmet and thinks the riding world hangs on his every pronouncement. Happens all the time. Plenty of other great channels out there to consume my YT time. Unsub.
check if Spite picked up josh. also, look at yammies analytics. he's cranking out videos and gets less than 1/3 the views as Spite's Corner videos. PER VIDEO. this could be public response in effect, but also.. who knows.
Personally I lost interest in Yammie after firing Spite like that. I didn't stop watching in protest, it was more of disgust. Maybe other people share that sentiment. I was never a huge Spite fan, it's just a dirty thing to do.
Why are people so gullible or maybe even stupid, Eric didn't sack spite it was all a ploy to run two channels side by side bringing in more subscribers remember two is always better than one, you will notice Noobs employees going on spite's channell from time to time, coincidence me thinks not.WAKE UP!!!!!!
Whitney has appeared on Spites channel once. That's all. Spite is now getting 3x views as Yammie. If what you are saying was true it hasn't worked out well for Yammie.
Trading up employees is normal once a company reaches a certain level of growth. If businesses don't do this they stagnate and die. But yes, the way he fired Spite was pretty raw.
josh was gonna get fired as soon as he became faster at the track yammy
Ha! Probably

Whitney just did a video on Spites channel. Which I thought was interesting and didn’t Josh just do a location shoot for YN.

That xr650 vs Porsche must've done more damage to Eric's brain than we thought
You mean the Triumph 675 ?
I'll be honest Yammie Noob's channel was getting stale. Yam wants to push volume over quality and he's had a lot of business aspirations that just weren't realistic. The bike sharing business being one of them.
I'll give him credit for working hard to monetize within a fairly difficult and niche industry. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Yeah, Josh is in the comments section of this video reporting what he's working on now.
Just saw Spite's latest video, with him riding with Josh and saying he's no longer at Yammie Noob, but they didn't say what happened.
Whitney has left now as well. She is working on projects with Spite. Yammie has taken down his staff page altogether. His view count is down significantly so his revenue must have taken quite a hit. True. Spite is great and creates good content. They work well together on the channel.
What happened to “Jammie J “?
The best videos Yammie put out were Spite/Yammie. They would each ride the bike and give feedback. Spite was a bigger guy, and he gave you that perspective. Spite also liked different styles of bikes than Yammie. Now that he's gone Yammie solo is blah, and the Yam cast with Whitney,,,ARGGGGGGGG

There's a slow down everywhere in spending. I imagine there might be a correlation in the finances getting tighter on the channel.
Can you kindly tone the music down and improve sound. You sound like you are at a distance.
Spite just did a video with Whitney too
I mean since I just watch the videos a source of side entertainment I guess I'm just not concerned with their day to day.
Yeah, completely understandable. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Who cares? Just dump Yammie & unsubscribe…YT will not miss him…
That's basically what I did...it was an instant reaction upon watching that horrible video in which he sacked Spite.
After watching yet another bike review vid where the yam relentlessly dissed a reasonably decent brand and model, I was done.

That PPE loan can’t fire anyone has passed
Yeah, probably a good thing since the PPE loans probably also contributed to the increase n inflation. Thanks for watching and commenting.
He just released a video with Josh on it today doin champ school stuff
Whoah, I gotta go check it out. Spite did? I know there's one on Yammie's channel, but it's from 11 months ago.
It's Josh doin champ street, whit n spite dropped one today comparing smarvipilen scmr
@@riddlerrides It just released a few days ago 🤔
@@danieldoyle253 yeah, I see that it’s the MSF course is not enough vid. That could’ve been recorded weeks prior to release.

This video has no emotion. Monotone. No personality.
Thanks for the feedback and for watching.
I recently saw Whitney on a video on Spite's channel.
I saw the same. They work great together.
Juicer sneaky

Bro, you have quite a *wild* imagination. That or you probably smoke too much of that green candy :-)
Bro this is not true at all
Whitney has appeared on Spites channel once. That's all.
Spite is now getting 3x views as Yammie.
If what you are saying was true it hasn't worked out well for Yammie.
I feel like on only people mad about this are the "fans" lol
On my other video on this topic the folks who hate Yammie are mad at my video. Its a very divided community. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@riddlerrides no problem man, dunno why people can't have a conversation without devolving into apes
