    My wardrobe is half this size. I re hung the rod up high and put a dresser inside it because I love drawers. I hang everything that needs hanging, and vertically fold everything else. I only use 3 drawers and the hangers for my entire season with plenty of space for pulling clothes off hangers, the two bottom drawers store my shoes/dance shoes. I store other season clothes in a box under my bed 😊

      Love your idea and I've also considered it, some time ago (but... in my case... I would just end up having less usable space, so I never did it)! :) I once saw, in... what is called an "RV-van", like... a van which was redone to become an RV, that people took off the hooks that came with the hangers and put smaller picture-hanging hooks on them, instead - getting them to hang very close to the rod and saving up the space wasted on top of the hangers. :)

    this just made me realize my issue isn't lack of space but not having the right spaces. I have a decent sized wardrobe but it's basically one bar and 3 deep drawers. I hate them drawers as it means either I'm wasting a lot of the depth or my clothes are stacked and getting things in and out can be messy (my skirts are one ontop of the other and to get the lower ones out I have to move everything and it ends up being so messy and having to refold or replace everything after. My underwear drawer too, its like... empty as it's just so deep so I end up stacking to maximize space and then panties and socks end up everywhere... I would really benefit from a nice shelf where I can put both clothes and my books for example and more but less deep drawers in the wardrobe...
    sadly my room is basically just one super THIN drawer where nothing fits because they're so tiny omg and then two huge cube drawers that I dump stuff in and hate...
    issue is mum hates throwing things away and spending money and now I'm older she's like NO CAUSE WHEN YOU MOVE OUT WHAT? so yeah... uncomfortable room I've been trying to make better since I was 15 but mum doesn't let me then complains til I move out

    I have a super small house and I used all of these tricks plus more. I even installed a back of the bed that functions as storage space on the sides (with shelves) and on the back, there is a small space to put the lamps, books etc so I can add 2 fake leather white boxes that double as a nightstand and as a large storage unit on both sides of the bed.
    I have so many other tricks... everyone that comes to my house is surprised that it's so cozy and yet not messy. I used every single inch of it and it still looks clean and somewhat spacious because all of my stuff is super organized inside the right places. Under the bed, I also have low boxes with wheels for the change of season, shoes, and more. The room is tidy and everything is hidden. Love these tricks! I actually should create a video, I think it would help many people who have even bigger houses but are messy :D
    I mean my mum has maybe 6 wardrobes, no jokes and a lot of space but she can never find anything. When you are forced to organize by living in small spaces you have to think harder to find solutions and you will know exactly where everything is :) Great video!

There is quite a bit of space above the single shelf above the hanging rod but the door height makes it very difficult to get use it. Will have to look to see what would help but maybe a better idea to get rid of the things I'm currently storing as I haven't used them in years. lol

    I love your videos and they're really helpfull! Thank you! :) Most people that show tips on organizing... either have new furniture... either have the place - and funds - to put new furniture and, also, spend lots of money on different organizers. I don't have the money or the space for furnishing an apartment. I live with my parents - it's pretty common in Romania... where I'm from :) - and they already have their furniture, full of stuff, furniture that I can't touch (like... to get rid of it). This makes so that the furniture in our house it's mismatched, it's very heavy and expensive and bulky (because of how they renovated... a long time ago, some of it can't be taken out of rooms... unless it would be broken... like... with an axe) and has odd shapes, like... furnishings used to be made... putting, on them, sculptured edges and all kinds of things of the type "looks before function & practicality" and "it was bought to stay forever, in that exact, same, place". My parents where, both, "engineers dealing with wood" :D (my father was a forestry engineer and my mother was an industrial engineer in the timber industry - including furniture and flooring industry; and some other family members were in this industry, also), so the furniture we have - and, for the available space, we have a lot of it - it's also special... in a sentimental way, for my parents. We, also, don't have like... "relatives living in rural areas" with whom we could, temporarily, deposit things like seasonal decorations, camping gear etc.. I have a teenage daughter and most of the suff we, me and my daughter, have gathered over the years... lately... ended up pilling up in unsorted boxes and it... just... became a huge nightmare. All in all, this, now, leads to me... having to figure out how to slip in other pieces of furniture, as cheap as possible and as practical as possible (for example, since my mom never was big on cooking... we don't even have a place to put plates or cups - even though we have some big... very big display cupboards... full of... yes, pretty expensive... but, also, with no real use... statues and vases and so on :D ) and... that's the reality for most of the people watching YT, I'd say: they're watching these clips like some people watch pornography - just dreaming about it. They do have the need for more organization, but they don't have the space or opportunity or funds or time to "start new" and, also, to remodel every couple of years; they don't have lots of money to spend on "stuff to keep stuff into it", "stuff for the stuff", and... most of the time... people just have to manage with what they have - and what they have it's old and old-fashioned and not very practical - so... your clip, with a small and simple wardrobe and "not-standard-Ikea type" of furniture and... kind of simpler organizers... it's really helpful! :) Thank you and good luck! :) Best wishes! :)

    • @OrgaNatic
      @OrgaNatic  3 роки тому

      Hello and thanks for your story! :) I think it's a common issue if you live with parents. I also had the same :) But the good think is that's not for forever and time will come when we start living alone (and missing all the advantages of living by parents :D) As for now, organizing an own space makes fun as well, doesn't it?

    Thank you for sharing this video. The vacuum bags never work with me. The air always gets out over time. I often wonder if everyone else has the same problem. They would be awesome if they did not leak air. But no matter what brand I buy, it always happens.

      Du you have a zip lock on your bags?

    • @kenn1936
      @kenn1936 4 роки тому

      @@OrgaNatic yes it seals with two plastic zip type ridges and you pull a plastic clamp thing along it to force the ridges together and seal. then use vacuum to suck out air and finally put the stopper in to stop air escaping - then it all escapes over time!

      @@keithgriffiths9864 I did get ones that are air tight now - from Amazon. Lots of good reviews (i had messaged the lady who has this channel as she wanted me to let her know if I got new ones). the ones I was using were cheaply made and the air got in within days). Thank you for the recommendation though.

    What company did your wardrobe cabinets and/or the drawers with your seasonal items? It seems so nice! 💕

      Hello Shannon, the bad thing is that I am answering you in the app “UA-cam studio” where all the comments are collected in one place. And I don’t know why but they didn’t show me under which video you wrote your comment. Nevertheless, the dresser I have is the Ikea Malm one, my closet is custom made by an unknown polish company. Hopefully I could answer your question 😊

    Hi. I have only 2 tiny, single door closets in my home. I find it very hard to organize my clothes, shoes & purses in my tiny home. I use a clothing rack instead of a dresser, but I do have one skinny dresser for small items, (pants, bras, socks). I feel overwhelmed, plus I am an adult with ADHD & Panic Disorder which makes me even more stressed out. What is the best way to organize my items in my bedroom when I have hardly any wall or closet space? And also for storing out of season clothing, shoes & purses in my basement?? Thank you for any ideas and help. 🌸
