Few days ago I saw this other shop channel do a cam swap on vette .. didn't lube it and just threw it inside in a hurry slapping it around. I like how you guys do your work down to loctite and torque specs etc good job guys 👍love the content keep em coming I learn alot.

How can you not enjoy the sound a LS engine makes. The C6 Z06 with the mamo install sounds glorious. Don't forget how the cam adds that lope noise to the exhaust note. Black Jack is going to be nasty when it hits the dyno.

Why the short pull on the original setup? Admittedly the existing combination looked like the curve had started to flatten? The final pull looked to have had significantly more speed/rpm... just expected to see full pull with both setups.

I never see Matt or Eric degree the cams that they install. Do you degree them when you install each cam?
icurt06 they probably install them straight up. Align the dots on the gears ⚙️ 🤷♂️ good question doe
You dont have to degree cams anymore. All you have to do is line up the dots on the cam and crank sprocket and its good

So what is the best intake manifold for the LS one with a pro charger what manifold will make the best torque and horsepower

I removed that rod on my msd that holds the runners because it was hitting up against the back of the throttle body. Would that affect anything seriously ?
Does the oem bolts require loctite and the same torque spec on intake manifold?

Nope, ALL years and ALL ls7s are affected even z28s
