- tonight I decided to toss on the intake and continue the swap test, got it all figured out and installed, only had one fuel leak, ready to start and then get on the dyno and test again.

I was watching Holley do their intake comparisons and that Atomic was quite a surprise.
I've seen it, upper rpm definitely comes alive
So what you are saying is... it is a rod saver.
theyre also all big motors, should be really neat to see what happens on 4.8

At 6:33/6:54, I think that should be a "changeable" map insert for the various MAP sensors...
I am hoping it works well. I like the look of it compared to the stock ones at least.

He’s slowly parting it out some to sell it. He mentioned it a few videos back.
I hear these things work the best on the ls7. It'd be interesting to see a confirmation on the msd giving up a lot to make a little more up top on these smaller engines.

I'm not sure if you went over this before, but the fuel rail on that TBSS looks to be the stock returnless style. But I thought I saw a return close to the send when you were showing the map sensor.
How do you have that setup? because I'd like to use this same intake return style without having to buy rails if that's possible.
Kind of looks like the flex fuel is used as a return, but I can't tell for sure.
Yes I was blowing through regulator then hitting rail, flex sensor is on return
@@SloppyMechanics thank you! If I have this right, it's:
- send from tank to regulator
- send out of reg to fuel rail
- Returning at the regulator itself and going through the flex fuel, then to the tank.

Tuning and drivability wise using the holly terminator which do you have better luck with, DBW or DBC?

I just did my knock sensors on my tahoe I see this in my nightmares.
If you haven't done anything like that it is but it is really an easy job I mean I'm annoyed but if I had to do my head gasket tomorrow I would not be to worried about it
How much further forward/ lower does the throttle body sit than the tbss intake? On the g it looks like your fan/radiator real estate was eaten up slightly
It is flat against the valley cover now and about same distance or shorter to rad

@@SloppyMechanics believe so, just heard a few customers having rattle and cant find it, turns out nut loose in manifold

@@SloppyMechanics ah. I haven’t seen it in other videos. if you look at the engine bay part of the video. Around the edges you can see the iPhone HDR working hard. I haven’t noticed it in your other videos. Reminds me of how my iPhone captures footage.
0:45 is kinda where I see it. I’m glad you use an iPhone. Footage is always lazersharp. No out of focus fishbowl shakeing your hand in front of the lense focus you fuck, take up 30 seconds of your time messing with the stupid camera
