About Me:
Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about plus size fashion, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 12 and Pearl, 5).

Hi Louise, I think the tree is a bit much for this space. A little hanging plant next to the shelf right there would do better I think. If you move the rug close, it might get in the way with your chair, that’s something to consider. ✨

the room looks lovely! i'm glad it's now a comfortable space for you :) maybe in that empty space you could hang a cork board or a marker board? that always helps me to visualize a project i'm working on or to organize my thoughts better. always love a cozy louise video😊💛
I wasn’t sure about the tree at first but in the finished room I think it looks cute! And love the neon sign 😍 maybe above the chest of drawers you could frame some of the kids’ artwork to hang on the wall?
when I clean, and than when I deep clean it definitely makes me feel lighter. I feel less depressed, even though I still deal with depression & PCOS. it just feels great to go through everything, and let go of what you don't use & just organize :D

Im a cleaner ,i do many offices in Northsmpton town centre... currently watching as im doing one..beeen struggling to do them properly because of different health issues so you Louise you are my comfy thingy to watch and listen to. I was teling my partner this morning at 5 am when i was leaving..i had your video in my headphones and i told him how much i love just listening to your voice cos its this comfort and nostalgia from 2016-2017 when life was still good. Louise!! I love the transformation. Looks gorgeous! The rug should be where you find it works best for you. Often the standard is to have a rug anchored under furniture. In this case under the desk and chair. Fact of the matter is, it might look choppy if you do. It’s your personal space. You have such a cozy home and your fashion sense is fabulous. Lean into your aesthetic prowess 🧡 I giggled about the tree. Same here. Looked much like yours. Googled and found that working each segment, large or small, followed by turning each leaf 😅 it turned out to be cute, TBH, worked on mine while watching a lengthy movie.

Maybe the tree needs a ceramic pot, or something to put in the basket so it doesn't get squashed. You know, like some pebbles/stones💕💕

I really like the tree, I think if you put it in a nice basket or pot and dangle some fairy lights in it, it'll look more cohesive. Overall though it's a win in my books. :)

Louise never disappoints! However she should be aware that some cats like to play with moss. So just look out for that. Also fake trees get dusty over time and tend to be tricky to clean. That all said the room is bright and happy. So satisfying watching someone else clean.

you could get a nice box or basket to pop the iron in, if you dont like the look of it sat there, and maybe put a heat proof mat in the bottom so you can put it away after use

Thoughts:
Rug looks good there gives the room a little separation between wardrobe and crafty cozy section
Tree is cute, looked way nicer in the basket. You might like it more tho if you found a nice big pink pot you preferbly one that looks proportional for if it was a real potted tree 🌳
Other chest of drawers I've no clue but hope you take us along with you when you decide that too 😊

Have you considered popping some shelves above the tall drawers? They would be really handy for craft storage (in some pretty box files or boxes) or to display your makes, photos, craft books etc. Or maybe a beautiful noticeboard- I'm thinking one of those swanky fabric ones with the trellis style ribbons over the front. You could use it to hold inspiration or artwork and change it up from season to season.
It's so wonderful and inspiring to see you making space and time to do something that brings you joy. I absolutely love crafting and I am here for it! 💕💕💕

You can get a holder / hanger for the iron and hang it on the side of the wardrobe.

I loved this! It made me motivated but also had cozy vibes, reminded me a lot of the laundry segment when you were doing weekly vlogs. I feel like we've seen a lot of organize/clean with me in this space and it just has stayed so lovely!
The tree made me laugh 😅 however once everything was finished and the lights were on the tree looked really good. Think you've done a marvelous job and I love how you've organized all the beads- it makes my crow brain very happy

If the tree is feeling a bit blah, you could jazz it up with baubles and fairy lights!
The drawers definitely need a bit of art above.
As for lighting by the drawers, you could always use an extension and have it go on the ceiling and then down the wall and just use cord covers to hide the mess of cord. Otherwise, maybe a battery operated light?
Move rug closer and love the tree . It’s a very Carrie Bradshaw space with Lap top and window love it

Love how this room is looking 😍 I’d say a wicker basket type pot would be lovely for the tree! Also the space by the door, you could do some black and white prints to tie the with the black and white photo on your desk, and have a look at some wireless table lamps? It feels super cozy though 💕

I have a similar tree in my bedroom that has lights on it from Amazon. I missed my Christmas tree so much that I had to have it. It makes the bedroom so cozy at night.
If you want a light in the corner get a battery operated light bulb and tuck the cord behind the chest of drawers 😊

Love watching x I think those trees look great in front of very plain walls. Where you have it there is lots of hard lines, different heights etc. They work in front of a plain curtain or plain wall, in an oversized pot.

You got me up to clean some stuff! I tend to just stuff things in a drawer but yet I love it when everything is clean. Love your cleaning videos just as well as all the others. Cleaning is pretty therapeutic. The tree needs a ceramic pot I think.

You can have a big Cork board above the dresser! Hang up some memorabilia or other small things.

The rug: get a protector to put under the rug if it doesnt already have a soft fabric backing. The rough backing will ruin your carpet (or any floor for that matter) over time. I like it without the rug.
The plant- eh its alright. Dust collector. What about a live cat friendly hanging plant like a spider/airplane plant? Thats what we call them in US.
Above the chest of drawers: i first thought mirror. No other ideas come to me.

Oh I love a cleaning video especially a speed clean , I like a voiceover . I loved the tree and rug I thought it looked nice . In that space I think a nice round mirror with a gold trim would look nice but you may feel it’s a bit much as you have mirrors in the room already x

Yeah or there are those rechargeable lamps that a few influencers have shown on IG recently.
i think it would be cool to move the dresser where the tree is currently on the other side of the room and then make that little corner bit a cozy chair/single papasan/comfy bench for alternative (and slightly more horizontal if you wanted) sitting, for other people to sit and chat while you're there, or just a place to put your shoes on! i don't know why but i'm envisioning a grown up version of those mesh ceiling canopies draped over a plushy chair?? to really make it YOUR quiet little oasis!

Hi louise! Im loved your videos for years! Im a professional cleaner, and I'd guess the bathroom wipes just have a higher alcohol content, which makes them stronger disinfectant. Just be careful using them on wood (wood does not like alcohol). The room looks great, enjoy it!! 💗

I Loved this! no judgment from me dirt in a home is real life. I loved the tree but perhaps you should look at getting a real smaller tree then you can get all the calm nature vibes when you craft I think the rug looks good where you have put it xx
Tree is good (pot too, though you could find something in a light pink if you wanted), I would move the carpet to the middle of the room if it doesn't get in the way of sitting at the desk but if it does, it's good where it is. Re: the sockets by the entrance, I wonder if you could do an extension that goes up, through the archway, and back down on the other side, closer to the iron? Secure it in some way, maybe get another set of lights to mimic the shape so it's not too much of an eyesore, and boom, new placement for ironing unlocked! (Unless that's not safe to do for electricity reasons; I'm not really familiar with safety guidelines in the UK.)

I like the tree, feel it needs to be a bit taller, though. As for the space above the dresser, I'd lean a tall mirror and get one of those lamps that you can put batteries in. Amazon has some nice ones that don't break the bank!

Great video! This video is actually really good for those with ADHD who benefit from ‘body doubling’ and are more productive when others are working around them! I know you’ve spoken about ADHD in previous videos so thought you might enjoy that fact 😊
