Life is far too short to fret over every tiny thing. In an ideal world we'd all be confident AF but if you're not quite there yet, I hope this video uplifts or inspires you to feel the very best you can. You deserve it.

I genuinely love the chaotic energy in this video. It is exactly how I feel every day I’m getting dressed this past month. Having to get dressed and be seen so much after a year of not seeing people, is very stress and just a lot of trying stuff on.

This made me giggle so much - and SO true, I always think 💭 don’t wear that it’s not flattering even if I liked it, but to be honest something that is flattering is great but I’m still the same size in both items of clothing! I miss the weekly and the main characters - mop of dreams, Esther, out of stock cleaning products and of course, the iconic intro songs. (I realise this sounds a little sarcastic, but I genuinely LOVE the weekly and would love for you to bring it back!)
Helllloooooo!! I know you do. I know that for all those years the Weekly was a lot of fun. Thing is, it stopped being any fun at all to me. I don't want to film the girls every day (or even every week), I have't been able to see Esther properly for over a year because of covid, I don't feel good filming every detail of our home and lives. The internet is a changed place. It's very 'pull every detail apart and find fault', yanno? I felt like, the chapter closed. It was fun and I love the memories but you have to have healthy boundaries don't you? I will definitely do special weeks here and there but until then, I'm afraid not. Mental health, emotional wellbeing and decent childhoods come before all the rest and I know you're on board with that. I do chitchat every day on insta so maybe that'd be a good fix o' Louise for you?

Let’s talk about cardigans. As a 53 year old I have always worn cardigans (especially at work as I don’t control the heating). I honestly think they can make a little dress and just make me feel more secure. To know I am now in Louise fashion tips makes me so happy. Thank you 😂😍

I used to shy away from wearing some styles of dresses or tops because I don't like to show the tops if my arms, it took a friend to remind me that you can always wear a cardi to cover up if you're not feeling comfortable 🙂

I'm 22 so if cardigans are out again for young people I don't care, I am quite small but I have always been self conscious wearing strappy tops and dresses and throwing on a soft cardigan always makes me feel cute and comfortable... Plus I'm never cold in the beer garden!
I'd say they're still trendy; but I'm 21 and I've always worn them. Don't see it changing anytime soon.
Cardigans are trendy right now. Plenty of people are wearing cardigans and they're out in lots of different colours! I dont care about fashion trends but they really are on trend if you were wondering
They don't go out of fashion but the colour or the style definitely does. A few year ago the boleros cardigans were in fashion, now they definitely aren't.
I think they went out of style but have made a comeback, depending on the style. All the teens are wearing short cardigans buttoned up as tops these days! 🤣
I live in the UK, you can pry my cozy cardies out of my cold dead hands. And they will be cold because it's freezing here!

I didn't realise quite how much I needed this little pep talk - I feel so bleugh about my body, my confidence is so low, but this video has just made me realise I should just wear what I want and not give a F about what anyone thinks. Just going to get out there and own it 🙌💖
My main motto that I like to pass on is:
The size of the clothes label determines what size THE GARMENT IS, not you!! I’ve stopped saying “I’m a size xx” and instead saying “this (insert item here) is a size xx”. The measurement of the clothes is not a human body measurement, it’s a fabric measurement. X
So important! Also considering how sizes can differ like crazy between brands and sometimes even of the same brand. Clothing size means nothing!
Don’t know if I’ve ever been early enough for the premier to still be counting down! Always love a sprinkle of Louise on a Sunday morning 💗

I’m 2 years late but I love this video. It makes me feel like I’ve stopped by a friends and I walked in and they called down that they were upstairs and we just spent a little chatty afternoon in their walk-in closet ❤😊

I am in my early 60's. I am not "curvy", I am a rectangle. Extra pounds, evenly distributed. I have spent my entire life hiding in dark, solid colors; basic jeans and sweaters in winter, jeans and boring tops in summer. I have bulging closets filled with separates that I am afraid to wear in public because I might not blend into the background. My seasonal purchases for this summer include floaty "resort wear", PATTERNS, and COLOR! You reminded me that it's ok to not blend into the air. Your video transcends age and fast fashion trends. A sense of humor is indicative of intelligence. You, Ms. Pentland, are brilliant!

I love that your confident enough to go against the ‘on trend’ look.
I myself have items of clothing that are 7 years old but I still pull them out and get compliments on them. I like to wear what makes me feel confident, happy and comfortable. I don’t want to wear things that I have to think “will this look nice to other people” ... I wear outfits for myself. And yes, I do have a few cardigans and I am the envy of all those shivering on a summers night because I have one with me. Thanks for another video Louise, I hope you’re keeping well.
I love cardigans! I wear them as long as possible and only take them of when it's boiling hot.

One rule I recently got rid of for myself was that I have to wear padded pushup bras/bathing suits because I have quite a small chest. Screw that! I now love rocking cute bralettes, wireless bras, or even wearing no bra. No need to pretend I have boobs when that's not who I am!
Love your rules, I am a 70 year old grandma who stopped wearing black because it's supposed to be draining for older people but now I wear my tops with very colourful beads , I love watching your little family it cheers me up especially in lockdown.
I love this, I struggle with clothes atm as I went from a size 6-8 to a size 12-14 and even though its not much of a difference it feels like it, I don't have the confidence to wear the things I used to but same as you I'm trying my best, such an inspirational and uplifting message 💕💕 lots of love 😘

The stress that is black and flower with the elastic arms and bodice is actually called smocking. ☺️ It’s so fun! I love it too! The reason I know is because I studied sewing in high school and we learned how to making smocking. It’s so beautiful! I loved this video! It’s just the pick me up I needed today Louise. something that gets me by when i’m feeling really self conscious about what i’m wearing or what i’m doing or how i’m being perceived by others is remembering that we’re all in the same boat and everyone is more concerned with what they are doing and how they are being perceived to even give your outfit or body a second thought. society has conditioned us to conform to these beauty and fashion standards and it’s heartbreaking to realise that it really effects people and changes how we view ourselves. beauty is entirely subjective and that stands for yourself, others, art, nature, clothes, jewellery... what one person sees as beautiful may not align with another persons tastes and that’s okay, that’s what makes this world so beautiful and unique! personally i loved all of these outfits and i’m so thankful that louise uses her platform in this way, it feels like such a safe place and like we’re on facetime wreaking havoc! if you’re reading this, you are magical and deserving of all things bright and beautiful, treat yourself kindly! (side note: louises hair looks like actual princess hair!!)

One of mine is to not care about wearing kids size clothing! I’m a petite girl and find it hard sometimes to even fit in adult petite sizes. Plus kids clothing can be so much more my colour/style sometimes! ☺️
Cheaper too (no VAT) - I always go to the kids shoe section first 😁
Indeed no vat in the UK! Unfortunately most countries tax kids clothes. I do love the selection in the UK, I really was noticeable that there was more choice and for great prices.

I LOVED this! 2 people that have really inspired me in relation to clothing over the last few months have been Trinny (yes as in and Susanna) and Leena Norms, both on UA-cam. Trinny talks so much about colour but always dresses up and I LOVE it. Leena just puts together stuff she loves and I love her style where she just wears what makes her happy with no rules to follow. Let's break the rules and wear what makes us happy!

Louise I can't tell you just how refreshing you are as a human. You're literally like a spring breeze personified. A lot of social media atm is all about having the best of everything, being on trend and following what's "in" and its so nice having someone to look up to who just doesn't care about those things. You're so down to earth and you are damn right about cardigans, I'm wearing one right now! I'm 24 and often people my age dress a lot different to me and I feel a bit out of fashion and such but this truly made me feel better, cause honestly why do we let rules like these own our lives, I just Want to wear what I want and not have people kill my vibe with their rules!!! I wore a lot of cardigans in 2015 too. And I LOVED it. I honestly, never fully stopped but I have gotten more and more into them. So comfy.

This video isn’t normally something I’d enjoy, I had it on in the background initially while I was doing some craft things, and when it came to the part about just wearing the dresses and the outfits that we’re saving for the special occasions or because an item was too expensive for everyday wear, it made me think! Yes I want to wear the dresses I’m saving for nothing in particular! So I’ve checked the weather for tomorrow and I’m wearing one of my dresses! So, thank you, Louise!
Louise I just love you. I really needed a pep talk today and am now feeling a little more at ease. I think many of us pick up on others opinions, views, and rules regarding fashion and many other things. The number of items I have that I’m saving for best is quite insane. Cardigans are forever. I love that straw hat ( very 1930s, Poirot etc). It would look lovely with a sundress or a Grecian looking dress...and it matches Pearl's little easter hat! Also perfect for a wedding with a blush pink dress.

The ‘concertina’ elasticated bit is called stirring 😆 it’s two or more rows of elasticated gathering usually on bodices or sleeves !
The older I get the more I just do not care what anyone else thinks about me and what I do and like. Now I wish I felt that way when I was younger. Loved this video Louise. So real and funny, God you make me laugh!!
