I chat with the last kid and his dad....great people, and he is literally an alien....PHENOMENAL PLAYER to be sure, I mean pulling off Jason Becker that easily not even looking just looking around having fun it is unreal
honestly, have you noticed a majority of these kids are Asian?i don't even mean this in a bad way, asia generally produces top of the line graduates all over the board
I have got to say, I nearly always skip past the "shout out" to sponsor plugs but found I enjoyed it here as much as I did watching these little mind-blowing kids perform what so many guitarist can only dream of doing. This is the first of your vids I have come across, and I have liked and subscribed. I look forward to seeing more content from you. 👍
Sophie, not only are you absolutely incredible, but i love how humble and cool you are, and showing these unbelievable little youngsters for how good they are too!! You're an inspiration ✨️ 💛
Thanks for sharing with us Sophie! These kids are incredible talents! Ive been playing for a long, long time and it's good for the soul to see that the future of rock guitar is in good hands!
I still love watching you shred too, Sophie! But yeah, I am 66 now but multiple instruments for 40 years and these little kids are killing me! I need that in the very best way! It is amazing that they are so so accurate, but I have to say they make me smile because they have the joyin them and they’re gonna keep it going! Thank you so much for showing these. PS, you as beautiful as ever these days too!
The kid playing Jason Becker wasn't just shredding. There was some real phrasing in there and control of tone. Some of them are technically impressive but that kid actually shreds like a god and makes you want to hear more. Great feel. He didn't play it like a robot, he dragged a few notes, it was fantastic and he clearly was having fun. Fantastic vibrato. It actually sounded really close to the original recording.
Absolutely AMAZING Sophie 👌👌 RESPECT RESPECT to them all INCREDIBLE is what they are 👏 Jake in front of of that huge crowd No nerves at all 🤘 And the last kid his expression of pure enjoyment says it all 💥👍👍👍 I’m definitely from the other end of the age spectrum but you have inspired me in the same way .💯 Many thanks for that Never to young or old as you say 🤘👍😎
Thanks for taking the time to pick out these mini monsters they were all phenom's and they deserve the recognition. I can only guess the amount of ours of practice.
Thanks, Sophie, this was fun to watch! The kid at the end was pretty incredible! I was planning on learning how to play, but now I'll pick something else to occupy my time. I bought my son a guitar & amp from Sweetwater. Sweetwater is a fabulous company to do business with. Did I just say "fabulous?" uhhh, yep. I did. Sorry.☹
50 plus years of hacking away on guitar (bass, drums, production, whatever) and not even close to any of that but... still having plenty of fun! And, that's what I saw in all of those young players. Now everyone go out and encourage someone to start or pick it up again (whatever it is)! We need more people to jam with (and it's good for the brain)! TS (Thanks Sophie!)
I’ve been playing for about 14 years, but REALLY focusing on it for the past 7 years (I’m 26 now). I can’t even wrap my mind around sweep picking, I can barely hit a pinch harmonic, and I definitely can’t shred fast. Absolutely insane to see these kids showcasing their skills, discipline, and natural talent! I wanna be as good as that last kid someday.🤞
That kid playing Sweet Child of Mine on stage, just amazing. If I had his skill I'd be happy enough, nevermind playing in front of so many people, couldn't do it live like that xD
He plays clean but the skill of the asiatic kids of the video is just superior. Any begginer with 1 year of practise can play all songs and solos of GNR if they practise with discipline. But you maybe practise 20 years and still cant play like the asiatic kid of the last scene. You cant compare the most dificult thecniques of the guitar with a guns n roses pentatonic songs. Here, 20 year veteran guitarrist/pianist just trying to understand how 8 years old kid can play like this with less than 5 years of practise.
The first little girl in pink... Even I recognize Yngwie Malmsteen's neoclassical riffs! I agree with you. Technique is a part of playing, But when playing live, on stage! Having some attitude, expression, some animation that's beyond just playing chords and notes on the instrument. LOL The little kid with the blue wig in the back... He was like, "What! Why am I even here!!"
Hey hey ....Sophie ....never underestimate how much you inspire youngsters, in particular girls with your playing...We love your enthusiasm and wonder ...keep it going ..x
I can't believe how good these kids are, how do they learn so quietly? But you Sophie are a very polished player and I think you started when you were like nine years old when you started and you also were very good 👍
Sophie the classical musicians are bound to do the technical arpegios but maturity will speak!!!... what about the strong deep vibrato and the feeling???
awesome video yeah alot of kids tallent in all aspects of music these days lots from guitar playing to drums to singing its amazeing to watch and see.... But your still awesome as well sophie love all your content and you as person too....... Music is in great shape
Surgem grandes guitarristas mulheres são umas feras e agora está nova geração de crianças incríveis fico muito alegre em saber que o Rock não vai morrer isto é incrível
hey Sophie I know you've got some sick chops and play more modern metal/rock but I saw your older videos of Pink Floyd DG solos and you really have a great feel and ear for that style. Cheers ❤
pfew, that last kid was stellar, incredibly accurate little fingers.. but i liked the blues playing kid the most, cause blues is more my style, and he's got a great right hand.
And I thought Tina S was great. BTW, glad to see her back on the scene with a whole new look and band. The last kid shredding "Altitudes" was my favorite.
Should have a look at 11 year old Maya Neelakantan. I love watching youngers play any instruments. So innocent looking but coming out with sounds better then some grown up. Good one Sophie 🎸👍
I discovered the 2nd kid a few months back... he's amazing... I shared a few texts with his dad lol they are all incredible tho...great video! (correction... it might have been the last kid...I forget now lol)
Check out the kid on channel 'Why Not Harris'. He plays Cliffs of Dover live and even improvises with the licks that EJ does in his iconic ACL performance . I think he's only 10 or 11 years old. Maybe the most impressive child player I've ever seen.
When I grow up I want to be a 10 year old.
😂😂😂
Best comment ever
Hahaha!!! That plays guitar like this i guess ❤😊
Me too!!!!!
i play bass because i know i could never compete with Asian guitar prodigies.
I chat with the last kid and his dad....great people, and he is literally an alien....PHENOMENAL PLAYER to be sure, I mean pulling off Jason Becker that easily not even looking just looking around having fun it is unreal
I have to say, the kid at the end really blew me away and was my favorite - the playing, the laughing! Great video, Sophie!
The song is originally by Jason Becker and he deserves your support due to his ALS diagnosis!!
@@infernalsymphonytv2928
The kid playing in front of the kid with the blue hair literally touched my soul with that amazing playing.
His name is Maituo...go check out his cover of Steve Vai's "For the Love of God"
Some of these kids can play better than I ever would, loving the switch up of content style, your personality suits being on camera
honestly, have you noticed a majority of these kids are Asian?i don't even mean this in a bad way, asia generally produces top of the line graduates all over the board
This kids are truly amazing, and fun to see.
You sound sus

I love Sophie that you show the hard work side of guitar and the frustration that goes with it. I like that you're amazingly humble.
Love the girl with the pink ESP. Reminds me of Toki from Aldious. We need more princesses that can rock.
was thinking the same thing Toki has influenced this one
Sophie, the kid at 6:48 is playing 'Altitudes' by Jason Becker, he has the tone, sweeps, and dexterity of Jason at such a young age. Amazing prodigy.
That last kid was just incredible ' like you said hes just smiling away as if he's just messing around..incredible.
I took me 3 solid months of after school practice to nail sweet child. It was the high point of my guitar life, and I was proud.
Thanks!
That kid playing sweet child of mine, look at the band member just absolutely smiling through it. They clearly adored playing with him.
Fantastic Sophie. My favourite ewas the last clip. His emotion and expression was top class. I'm still struggling with F major.
❤❤❤❤😊thank you very much my dear lady❤ Thank you for making the video, I am Maituo dad❤❤
The girl at the beginning of the video is called Xiaoyu. She is the same age as Maituo and we are friends.❤
Sophie, not only are you absolutely incredible, but i love how humble and cool you are, and showing these unbelievable little youngsters for how good they are too!! You're an inspiration ✨️ 💛

I always get a sense of panic when I see such incredible players, including you Sophie, i have to go away and practice my arse off for ages
Absolutely AMAZING Sophie 👌👌
RESPECT RESPECT to them all INCREDIBLE is what they are 👏
Jake in front of of that huge crowd
No nerves at all 🤘
And the last kid his expression of pure enjoyment says it all 💥👍👍👍
I’m definitely from the other end of the age spectrum but you have inspired me in the same way .💯
Many thanks for that
Never to young or old as you say
🤘👍😎
I saw a video of you playing when you were young and you were fantastic at a young age. These kids are great.
Thanks for taking the time to pick out these mini monsters they were all phenom's and they deserve the recognition. I can only guess the amount of ours of practice.
Absolutely incredible! Such amazing talent from these young people!
The last one emotionnaly hit me haha.
I love your teeth and your voice, hope it doesn't sound weird xD
That last little guy ,have you seen his duet with his dad doing Hotel California, it is amazing !!!!!!
Thanks, Sophie, this was fun to watch! The kid at the end was pretty incredible! I was planning on learning how to play, but now I'll pick something else to occupy my time. Amazing Kids! What gets me is their memory. Super Power Memory!

They are all amazing, but the kid playing Jason Becker...he is from another planet
Maitou is also a master of improvisation

You saved the best for last, impressive all of them blew me away.
Excellent commentary 💪 love that enthusiasm, definitely the last kid is freaking amazing at his age with that talent 👍
The first little girl in pink... Even I recognize Yngwie Malmsteen's neoclassical riffs!

LOL The little kid with the blue wig in the back... He was like, "What! Why am I even here!!"
What? 😮 Love it! Gotta go practice now! 😂
Not everyone can play that Jason's tune, and the most important thing : No one can write that Beautiful tune besides Jason Becker himself
That first pink guitar is a $4500 ESP "Rock N Chunpa" signature guitar. It's for the guitar player Toki from Aldious. That little girl EARNED IT.
I still can't play Malmsteen and these kids sound just like the studio take. Amazing.
Love everything you do Sophie thank you for being you
Hey hey ....Sophie ....never underestimate how much you inspire youngsters, in particular girls with your playing...We love your enthusiasm and wonder ...keep it going ..x
