    This man has good insight into not giving up and moving forward. The one thing he said though that I don't agree with is that life is a series of games. You can reach the pinnacle of what mankind thinks is success and still be empty inside and then face the fact that you can't even keep yourself from dying. You can go all your life trying to be somebody and never end up being yourself. And you can gain the whole world but lose your soul. Life isn't about trying to leave your mark in history, because it will surely be forgotten and life isn't about what you can get, it's about finding who God created you to be and then giving from yourself to God and mankind all that you have to give.

    • @OMGFishoo
      @OMGFishoo Рік тому

      Uhm, when you say "find who God created you to be", you're talking about playing the highest game possible. Life is a series of game. There's the work game, the play game, the family game. Everything have rules and some rules apply to all possible games. That set of rules is what you call "God". That set of rules is "who you were created to be". Who you are across every game you play.
      In Buddhism to be enlightened, first you need to be materialistic successful. Why? Because you don't realize otherwise that material success won't fullfil you, and to achieve material success is to reach the pinnacle of what mankind thinks success is. And it will be empty. But thinking that you can otherwhise find out "what is your destiny" or "who God created you to be", or "what fruits should grow from your lifetree" won't have anything to do with sucess, you're wrong.
      You need to reach the pinnacle in something. Realize what you can realize, make something out of yourself. Otherwise you're just an undisciplined child. The mistake is thinking that reaching the top of the mountain is the end of the game. Reaching the top of the mountain is necessary to transcend the mountain.

      @@OMGFishoo My personal life experiences with the Living God go back 45 years. By God’s grace and Glory, I have been saved and healed. I’m not anyone special, everyone is loved by God and can know Him and His love. Like millions of other people in the world that know the Living God and have had their own life experiences with Him and His Truth, Love and Power and Miracles, I can stand up with them and say that I too am blessed to know Him and His Truth. Almighty God alone is God and He is a Spirit Person, The Creator of all things. Most people in the world want to be their own god and many hate the Living God of the Bible, that is sadly their poor decision. All people have been given the grace and love of God through Jesus His Son and I can tell you as a fact that God and His Son and Holy Spirit are real,not a religious practice of men. Religious people like to use God, but even at that God won’t play their games with them, God is serious and so is everyone on earth dying someday and facing judgment. People send their selves to hell through their sin and rejection of God and His love through Jesus His Son. It is good for people to do good works in the world but their works can’t save them from hell, that’s why God gave us Jesus. Life might seem like a game to people, anyway they want to use the term and word, but life is hardcore serious beyond what people can even imagine. There are many who believes that when they die that it’s like turning off a light switch, but the reality seriously is that a person goes on existing and some will be with God and sadly many will be in hell by their own doings. Everyone has a choice to make about life and eternity. For me, there isn’t any living, without Jesus, because He is life and blessing and He is my eternity and without Him, there isn’t anything worth while. It’s by my experiences with Him that I can testify of His Love and Truth. I wrote this as a testament to you, because as a minister of Jesus Christ, I hope that you and everyone will know His Truth and Love.

    • @OMGFishoo
      @OMGFishoo Рік тому

      @@daryldrennan I don't doubt your numinous experience. But you're arguing that because you felt something so real, your version of your God is the only one.
      The fact that people in the other side of the world, 5000 years ago, before Jesus Christ, can relate the same experience tells that while yes some divine experience is common for mankind, it doesn't prove your current belief that you read in your bible.
      You're equating your amazing connection with what someone taught you about what that feeling is. And if you were born in another place or another time, you would call it different names. So yes, you are using God as a religion just like everyone else.

    • @daryldrennan
      @daryldrennan Рік тому

      @@OMGFishoo God Himself has told mankind in the Bible that He alone is God. My experiences with God are not a feeling or an emotion, they are far beyond that. The One True Living God gave mankind His written Word of Truth with the writings that God shared with faithful men through the power of His Holy Spirit, who shared the Scriptures with these men over time. There are many prophecies in the Bible that have already been fulfilled and some that have been fulfilled in this modern age. Jesus, the Son of God was with God His Father before the world was created. Jesus told those of us who follow Him to use the power that God has given us through His Holy Spirit to heal the sick, raise the dead and cast out demons. I have been involved with healing, praying for others and seeing the power of God heal people of various infirmities including cancer. And I have been involved in exorcisms and have witnessed demons coming out of people and buildings. God isn’t about some religion people made up and they have a book to just talk about and warm fuzzy feelings. God is the God of reality and authority and power, it’s not a game. God warns people to stay away from idolatry and worshiping men outside of His Son Jesus and has warned people not to worship creation and has warned not to worship devils and demons, they are fallen, dead angels. When people open themselves up to the religions of the world, they open the door to evil, satanic and demonic spirits, it’s not a game. These evil spirits thrive off of lying to people and leading them straight into hell. People who want to be their own god are self centered and don’t know anything about true sacrifice or living, if they did, they would be givers not takers. The whole world has everything backwards, people are all about their selves and that shows how unlike God they really are. God is real and He has power to save us and He has power to judge a person and send them to hell. I don’t have anything more that I can say to you, other than God is real and that He gave Jesus to save you from your sins and eternal judgment and that’s not a religious quote, that’s a fact that billions of people have come to know is the truth.

    Mr Goggins, we do have limits son. You are one of the lucky ones, 12 for every 100 have the abilities you have. I used to be able to do 55 push ups in 2 min which is terrible but I was a skinny 18 yr old and my body didn't know better. I could not do more than 7 in the beginning. But I have not exercised in 20 yrs like that. Now i am 55 and can't do more than 3 push ups. Too old and muscles too weak. I have also been told to not try push ups or sit ups over 50 it is not safe for the body. Just asking for injuries.

      Turbo you have exposed yourself for the weak minded individual you are. Just because you are 50+ doesnt mean you shouldnt be doing pushups and situps. People say that because the majority of people your age gave up on their bodies years ago and now they are stuck with weak fragile old bodies and minds. You CAN do calisthenic exercises at your age contrary to what you have been told, but that is beside the point. The point is you dont just jump into difficult exercises without having a proper foundation to build off of. You first need to work on your mobility to the point where you are more flexible than is needed to do an exercise to protect yourself from injury. Then you need to focus on perfecting your form in these exercises. David Goggins and people that are as intense as him have worked on their foundation and built themselves up the athletic level they are at. Believe it or not, you at your age can still turn your life around and achieve many fitness achievements that you cant even imagine at your current state. The only difference between you and the people that achieve their goals is drive. And I would bet money that you have no drive, only hope. If you actually want to be able to be physically fit again you will use the resources on youtube and the internet to work your way towards your goal. If not, you're just another old person with an old person mentality. And it is very transparent.

      08turboSS I’m 71 and do 2 sets of slow pushups every other day. And 2 sets of pike pushups. No injuries, ever. Muscles continue to grow and strengthen. I also do weighted squats, weighted calf raises, kettlebell swings, regular and hammer curls, triceps work, forward and lateral raises, 3 different forearm exercises and 2 different ab exercises. Each exercise is done slowly and to failure. I also walk 6 to 9 miles 5 days per week.

      LOL. So many limits you’ve put on yourself. At 61, I couldn’t do 3 push-ups at a time. At 63, I did 1,000 in 18 hours. Your only 50?! Stop the excuses and get off the couch.

      he explains in his book that it wasnt a good idea and how he should have stretched and conditioned. mainstream american just loves to hear about navy seals and how they are so tough for some reason; this video is more of a quick cash grab.
