- Remember that one time I made a removal guide, and then you guys had a bunch of good suggestions for ones I missed, and then I said I would make a followup?..... well its been 8 months, here it is

Vaylantz player here. I can confidently say that there are at least 2 dedicated vaylantz players
I’m here to definitely say there is at least 3 dedicated vaylantz players and that I’m the bane of their existence (anti-spell fun)
Today i learned there's 3 more vaylantz players than I ever thought existed

Or my personal favorite, SHS battle ball, which basically say "skip the specifics,just do math" and summon ANY shs synchro by taking anything the opponent has with a lvl, adds 2(or anything if you modulate its lvl) and finds appropriate big boy in ED to wall off
i like this general ygo terminology and explanations even if a primarily a duel links channel, so many duel links players already probably also play something else of ygo aside JUST the original mobile game when irl and master duel can also provide a fun time!
Yeah that's a good point . Plus after we got links and Kaijus, I feel like duel links is mechanically on the same page as the other formats. Deck/card wise, we're still a good deal behind, but at least its no longer behind by an entire summoning mechanic.

My favorite form of removal in DL is Altergeist Meluseek, because the opponent has to choose between using their card on the 500 attack shrimp or having it violently ripped off their field by said shrimp.

5:02 we have rank-up-magic revolution force, which can be used during the opponents turn to yoink one of their xyz without material to rank up into a RR using that xyz as material.

One minor correction:
If a monster is unaffected by spells / traps, u cant use that monster as a material for a fusion card

lair of darkness, rikka konkon and other similar cards can tribute opponents monster as cost but the monster still need to be able to be affected by these cards themselves so if the monster is immune to the effects of that card type in some way then they cannot be tributed through these cards
exception is soul crossing because it doesnt need to affect the monster and instead simply expands the reach of what can be tributed when you as the player would tribute summon a god card in a similar vein as underworld goddess using opponents monster for her link summon cept for tribute summoning instead
Dhampir Vampire Sheridan can be XYZ summoned using one of your opponent's monsters (irrespective of level) provided you take control of it, hope this helps

My favorite forms of removal are basically all Infinitrack xyz monsters (and digital bugs, to an extent). That's a nice monster with exactly 3,000 atk over there. Truly, a respectable boss monster stat line. Would be a shame if I had exactly 3,100 atk and ate it.
I now want to put a horrifying thought on your head: What if Duel Links ended up getting Runick cards?

can't ogre the activation of spell/traps with ghost ogre because they weren't face-up prior
Kaiju their best monster. Then evenly their field. This is the way. Like a previous commenter said you can't Ghost Ogre Evenly.
Is there any way to force your opponent to use phantom hand? One day I’m sure John Konami will make a card like that
I mean, you can always use Inferno Tempest on Duel links, and banish all monster from deck and graveyard. And since there is no 2nd phase, even if they can activate something, they won't have time for it 😃
Or you can make a "lol, I was joking" moment, and use Gift Exchange, and just banish the card you would get XD

This card effect is: can't be target or destroyed or banshied (face up or dace down), can't back to hand, can't be tributed, can't be removed, can't used as material for fusion or synchro or xyz or pendulum or link or whatever new machine come in future, your opponent can't make you choice or force tou to destroy or tribute or banish (face up or face down) this card. This card battle position can't be changed, this card Orginal atk and def can't be changed, this card cant be send to gy or send to banish zone, can't send back to deck. This card effect cannot be nagated. This card can't send to spell trap card zone, this card owner can't change, this card unaffected by other card effect. Also anything else that I forgot add to this effect, for god sake look at this card name you can't do da*n anything to this card, OK? Thx. When the duel start and you have this card in your deck, this card immediately summon itself from deck or hand to the field and it's effect immediately be activated. Other card effects can't be reapown to this card and this card is spell speed 10. Anyone or anything can't do or say anything to make this card effect to be activated or stop it any how. You and your opponent and judge and Konami itself and president and God are powerless against this card, and you and your opponent must do this card effect before continuing the duel. You and your opponent must go to a at least 10 year realtionship and start living by your own, fall in love to eachother, start working and marrying together and have some kids and do anything every normal family do. And after that when you two had at least 3 kids, at the birthday of your last kids when he/she turn 30, you two can continue your own duel and this card goes to the gy.
This sounds like where duel links will be in 2-3 years. I read the whole thing and laughed the whole time.
