I find it baffling how THIS is considered too much while Zombies have been running rampant for months with busted skills that do so much more. Make it make sense, Konami.

Sit down and get a snack, we're about to introduce a skill that just plays your deck for you and generates literal free advantage. I'm not even referencing a specific one, they just keep fucking doing it.
Konami would never, EVER add monsters to the graveyard for free, do you think they are crazy enough to ruin gameplay just to sell cards out from chaos? PFFFF, NEVER!!!! They have ethics you know. It's not like they just decide to toss random junk to the grave just for the sake of selling dragons, they would never do that!
its funny you say this because at one point I tried to make shooting star road madolche deck, since the skill has deck requirements, but not summoning requriements.... yeah it was bad.
7:20 Almost all players who played during 2011 know about Tengu plant summoning Trishula with Spore. The card even got banned at some point because... Oh yeah, because Konami wanted to sell dino and Wind-up XYZ product considering the same ban list also banned the problem card in Trishula, but that's besides the point.

All i have to say to this is: "Fuck konami and fuck dkayed for nerfing this skill" That asscuse of a youtuber kept asking for this skill to be nerfed, and he actually got what he wanted when konami decided that THIS was too strong. This skill was literally my favorite skill to play rose dragons, and was my first kog using naturia.
They gotta un nerf it man, if they can make the shiranui skill dump the sword guy, search, and setup your link monster, i think we can get a free plant monster
Have you thought of making videos about the downfall of certain archetypes like witch crafter and cybers dragon or how blue eyes never really left the meta
blue eyes being popular is like a running joke in duel links at this point. So yeah I should add that one to the list. Cydra i did a video on at one point, and witchcrafters I can do if i can think of something fun with it.
The skill even got stealth fixed where it doesn’t guaranteed the enemy gets heads and works as intended from Master of Destiny Skill along with the recent announcement of the limited list update.

Duel links meta doesn't have all the history catalogued. One of the best ways to play WGITG back in day was yo run "angel trumpeter". Level 4 plant tuner with 1900. Bring up verger, and synchro level 6, archfiends call. Then run Battle tuned and you can banish trumpeter to boost archfiend to 4100. Non targetable 4100 beat stick

I unironically quit duel links when they nerfed this skill. It was one the few skills that allowed you to essentially brew anything that came to your degen mind. It was super fun to theory craft decks while in its pre-nerfed form. After it got hit it felt like you really just had to play what ever slop konami served you as the new archetype of the month.
I hate konami so much for killing thses generic skills that helped rougue/unsupported archetypes/strategies. When they killed the labyrinth builder skill I cried

I got you. In most other formats, you summon aleister, search invocation, then link 1 aleister into a fire or light monster. This lets you then use invocation on aleister + the link monster into mechaba or purgatrio. But in duel links you couldnt do that link 1 part in 2019, so you would just have aleister stuck on the field. BUT if you started with dark verger in the grave, you could use invocationt to fuse aleister on the field, and dark verger in the grave into big rock, effectively turning it into a 1 card combo, just not a very good one.
okay, im a yugioh lame man, only been playing like for a year or so, but how is that plant in the graveyard skill any different to the black luster stuff i usually play? 1 tuner in the graveyard too strong but 7 cards in the grave + extra recycling and drawing is okay? note that i dont want my black luster to get nerfed, i like my lame deck, just trying to understand 😗
That's the joke. Konami nerfed a skill that was fairly inoffensive and somewhat balanced for its time, only to make several skills that do the exact same thing, but better.
I Tell you how. A famous youtuber that abadoned this game after masterdurl released once made a "ban list prediction" video, and in it, he asked for this skill to be nerfed because "making a rank 3 and a lv6 synchro is too strong". Said asshole had a fandom full of glue eaters that couldnt play this game properly to save their lifes, which just meant that a bunch of idiots decided to should everywhere that this skill wss broken and needed to be nerfed. Some time after that, rikka would be releasing and guess who asked again for this skill to be nerfed?
