Cracking video, as always, Dave... especially as you're 'not' Wainwright bagging! A great reminder of an area I haven't been to in years but it brought it all back and has put it back on the revisit list. I think because it's more of a whaleback shape, this central spine of fells, rather than the dramatic outlines flanking it, it doesn't get as many visitors and there's lots of nooks and crannies to explore.
Great stuff as always pal..know that area well & it is a boggy place the watendlath fell further north where armboth & high tove are is horribly boggy..coming back instead of dropping down the wythburn valley which is the route I took up last time what a slog lol..you could have stayed high south path & bagged calf crag & steel fell..ahh Yr not a wainright bagger though are you 😉 🤣 that dunk in the stream looked refreshing..take care pal tfs..Andy..

Stunning area never ventured over that way before. 👍 great footage as always. Is that a new 🎒 rucksack? Atom Packs?
Cheers Gary. It’s a Montane Trailblazer 44 👍
Cracking vid as always Dave 👌 noticed that it looks like you’ve swapped your Osprey out for the Montane Trailblazer 44. I’ve been deliberating between both bags, any feedback on such a decision at this stage? Thanks, Keith.
Cheers BR. I really like the Trailblazer as a lightweight summer bag. It certainly don’t have the load carrying capabilities of the Osprey but it’s a bit lighter and quieter 😁. Much cheaper too I think.
Kick the Go-Pro - not needed Dave - video just fine! 👍🏼
Yeah, picture quality is great but sound no good when it windy. Maybe I should just talk less 😁👍. ATB Dave
Top quality didn't notice any difference between phone or go pro.not a bagger my arse lol.
😆👍
Hi Solo Summiteer. Do you use a map and compass to find your way around or do you have an app ? If its an app which one do you use ? Enjoy your videos they are good.
Cheers. Usually use the GB and Parks App. OS maps on my phone. Take paper maps too if it’s somewhere I’m not familiar with
new camera dave? footage looks crisp as you like!

@@TheSoloSummiteer ahhh, I reckon this was a recommendation from Scott (TLExplorer)?? I remember him doing a review on the trailblazer… great vid as always Dave ⛰
Thanks bud 🙏🏻. I actually bought it off him 👍
Could I get a w3w of the blea Tarn you was near. Please
I don’t like to reveal my exact pitching locations Paul. I prefer to encourage others to explore for themselves 😎⛺️⛰👍
@@TheSoloSummiteer I understand but some people just don't have the time to, I run workshops and people come to me because they don't have time lol.
Great video Dave 👍 Did you forget the drone too?
Cheers Mark. No, drone was in action 👍
@@TheSoloSummiteer yes of course it was I think I commented too early. Although the video started off with drone footage 🙈

Thanks for uploading, Dave. No loss of quality for the lack of gopro! What's the new pack, looks a bit flash with the rolltop closure? ATB.⛰🏴👍
