Gordon, get that coolant flushed out. The liners can get pitted too. I don’t recall if it was one of your videos during your over haul, but I saw someone’s liner pitting. I’m no mechanic, but I’ve seen videos where the block is destroyed and starts leaking because of water being used. I just hope they do something, drain it, put something in there to clean it, and flush it out, and refill it.
Gordon, You mentioned earlier that it was going to take some effort to remove that turbo, and you weren't lying. My patience would have been tested for sure.
Thankfully I have everything I need to handle whatever it threw at me and half a century experience with that and much worse. Thanks for watching Drew.
Much more convenient but I still have to run back to the old shop for tools and supplies, but not as often as when I first started working in the new one.
Always look forward to see what you’re working on, it’s always something new. My favourite thing about your channel is the wide amount of repairs you do!
Replaced my turbo myself wasn't as bad as your job but I wouldn't wanna do it again...glad to see your not slowing down and still putting out content keep it up if you can take care
I don’t think any shop would stand behind a repair on such a neglected engine. I wouldn’t. You know that as bad as the coolant was the liners are ticking time bombs.

I enjoy the big rig repair videos the most.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching sir.
Nice to see that new work area is paying for itself already!

Brilliant video giving you the to torque pressure for filter housing and sump plug

Turbo usually don't fail without some warning signs like compressor wheel rubbing the housing driver needs to pay better attention
Air cooler and intake manifold is probably full of oil too.
That truck been badly neglected.
Well, it's a local steel hauler, his 2nd truck is a lot nicer.
Pretty messed up turbo sir.
A mess for sure! Thanks for watching sir.
