This one is at a nice now angle, making it useful. The original schrage musik on german planes are almost vertical so it's very impractical to use it normally.
The Ju 388 and Br69 (FR) have downwards-pointing guns to aid with ground pounding. Give the latter a look (the Junkers is now a very rare event machine)!

I had an extensive dogfight with a FC.20 bis in this exact Ki-45, I landed all of my main gun shots and he was so badly damaged, so I decided to finish him off with the Muzak. These dogfights are why I play air, shit was fucking fire.
All planes can sort of do this in RB by setting distance to 800 and vertical aiming to ON. I've noticed that I'm able to get more kills in turnfights than I'd otherwise be able to, this way, in top tier.

You cut your engines so you nearly stall, then use heavy yaw to slide sideways into the head-on with your guns completely off target. You lose half your tail in the engagement and continue to slide under the completely baffled enemy, demolish them with your schrage musik, before entering a flat spin and crashing with a single kill.
For this very reason I have absolutely fallen in love with Japanese heavy fighters. Plus huge guns, and great handling. A nice break from the 11.0 grind.

Usually you'd have to get your nose on the enemy. But in this case your getting your forehead on em.
