ADK Squad Outdoors try “into the flames” it’s on steam. It’s a younger game made by someone who actually knows a thing or two about the fire service. So it’s a newer game, more features and it’s already farther than this game. It’s also optimized and easier to run in middle range computers or even low end ones
Being apart of USFS and former member of Cal fire aka CDF it’s awesome to see this and it be so accurate and detailed I look forward to more videos. Also awesome to see H301 which is based out of Hemet Ryan been on and worked with 301 more then 10 times
I'm a bushfire fighter here in Australia and served during the Black Summer, makes me very happy to see part of what I do in video game format, been inside the Skycrane and have seen both helicopters shown here fly over my head and drop water on the fire. The helmet blocking the peripheral vision is a nice and accurate touch. I know the game is a work in progress, but over here the helicopters actually sound a siren before they drop water to notify ground crews to stay clear, they would usually make a pass with the siren and then drop. Also not sure if this is already in the game yet, but wind direction/speed are a huge part of how wildfires spread and also embers creating hopovers. Hope this helps.
Coming from someone who has worked with calfire, forest service, and the private sector, I'd say that you are doing a pretty damn good job. I see that you have a lot of vehicle gameplay, so I would suggest bringing in some more on-foot action. Definitely love the idea of bringing hotshots to the game, I'd also suggest bringing standard type two, fire modules, and smoke jumpers in. Also you could add different types of roles. For example, you could choose to be anything from a t2ff, to a engine boss, crew boss, all the way to IC. Now your IC wouldn't be digging but would be at camp Coming up with how to contain the fire. Anyways, love what you have done. Keep up the good work

I'm right near some of the forest fires in Oregon and Washington and the air quality is 250 or so, so it's not the worst but it could be better thanks Flip Switch for acknowledging us westerners and our struggle right now.

You'd go to camp and the first thing you will notice is the 5 gallon buckets scattered around. Just for cigs, nothing else. Now me personally, I prefer dip over cigarettes. Now between the different companies, I say grizzly wintergreen, and Copenhagen mint. Each company does better in some areas than others, unless we're talking about kayak or longhorn. They're just cheap and nasty.
I know everyone complains about the bugs, but the amount of content that is in this game is amazing for such a small team. Plus one can get around the bugs. They aren't as often as the used to be, and are usually corrected quickly once reported on the discord.

The only thing that's missing is the engines spraying water into hotholes then leaving all the digging for everyone else to do. Also love it when they dump 6000ft of hose at the anchor point instead of hiking it in half way.
I do Wildland firefighting a lot it'd be really cool to add the cleanup process fighting hotspots is always fun to try to find so this would be really cool dad in the game add to add search-and-rescue to the game would be really cool I will be purchasing this game real soon

I hope Montgomery County is better than Manhattan. Manhattan is a raging dumpster fire. It's not worth playing. Hoses disappear, fires that can't be put out, buildings that have no way into, fire on an 11th floor of a building that's not there etc and etc. Paying for games that don't work is BS.
I dont think that NYS owns a personal Helicopter for fire attack. It's mostly ran by NYSP with their choppers. And I never knew that USFS had stations in NY. But otherwise cool!

Is that simply because the pilot was less than familiar with flying it? In other words, for those that are practiced helo pilots, will the game allow something like realistic flight? Thanks
I still love how the Huey says CalFire on it Edit: Also the white lights on the back of the Brush should be changed to blue or amber. Almost no departments have white facing the rear, but also it's my personal preference lol.

beanard yes Fire Dept trucks have white facing the rear they are called scene lights flood/spot lights to see at night time..
