Post, you give the culverts the opportunity to perform as they were intended. This is a massive task on your part and I know the neighboring areas appreciate it even if they are not aware of your efforts.
Me either. My neighbour asked why I watched these videos. After watching a few with me he now watches them too. I can't explain it. I just enjoy watching Post 10 but not really any others who clear drains and remove beaver dams.
So beautiful an area. Do hope they'll repair that bridge. Don't know how you're able to contend with the mosquitoes or flies, without spray. Those the flies that leave behind a huge red welt after biting? Eeii! 🚫🦟🚫🪰🚫. Only hope for these areas for you, when you're out and about! 👍👍
You should see some of his older works too, of when he was unclogging city drains. That's how I found his channel and I wasn't looking for it, but sometimes you find amazing gems like this channel.
Been watching him for years..He is really a nice guy and unclogs a LOT of stuff...He works really hard to get these videos out and I for one (and thousands of others) really appreciate his dedication. One of a kind...😀😀😀😀😀
That quiet rumble of the car as you are driving over the dirt road has got to be one of the most relaxing sounds on this channel. How about a video compilation of just you driving along on the dirt roads with the quiet rumble in the background?
I need the heavy rain here really bad and Creeks are drying up especially the small creeks Raccoon Creek is looking pretty low especially when you go down Church Street across the bridge before you get to Don and Sue's Pizza and Williams Street
@@austinmiller3497 sorry to hear that. I often wonder about the fish and other aquatic life when I see the drying streams and creeks. I think brook trout are native to the northeast but unsure what if any other salminoids you have? I think Post has mentioned sunfish, crappie and maybe bass before…
Love the new rake dude. It's more 'culvert shaped' than the other one. Glad to see you back. I was worried that the drought was going to make you have to take a vacation from unclogging culverts.
This was great! I love it when you shove in some crap and we see it come out the other side. Maybe sometimes you could take a little red ball or something and send it through if there's no crap available. It's just fun to watch it go in one end and out the other! Fun vid!!
I moved from New York to California two years ago and you just don't see stuff like this out here. Nice to see a piece of home. I spent a lot of time in Blydenburgh park which has Stump Pond and little streams and rivers flowing through, its a hiking trail. The pond itself has swans and other birds even when its iced over so there must be something in the water to eat. I used to walk in those streams with crystal clear water halfway up to my knees. A swan hissed at me once, but it just wanted me to leave the dock. One time our golden retriever swam across the whole pond to get to the other side where a german shepherd was playing in the water. Great dog. The entry point is a steep hill downward behind my house, and theres a part with a 12 foot cliff thats slanted and dangerous to walk on in a foot of snow, so I'd walk down the main road and get in through the entry road. Can't walk the hiking trails but you can go to the lake and see all the geese and ice
I'm assuming you moved to SoCal or SF Bay Area. Cause I'm northern Cali there are a ton of hiking trails work a ton a nature. A lot of northern California is federal land so its preserved. Check it out...
Hey Post! I'm so glad you are having success with the new 4-tine tool. I knew it would be a great addition to your arsenal, and you are doing some fantastic work with it. Keep it up, be safe, and watch out for snakes! 😁
tell be about it, im starting to clear all the rain gutters on my street when I get home from work since summer is over and we should be getting rain again
Your videos are amazing. I have an incredibly stressful job, and your videos really, like REALLY, help me unwind. It's kind of like a more chill version of How It's Made or something. Especially the way you film it, and your narration really helps. Very calming and educational to listen to you talk about whats going on and why. Looking at the water rush in after removing some big chunks of debris is the best. So satisfying to watch all that water suddenly get sucked in and gushing out the other side on the exit-view. Sometimes I catch myself staring dead at some piece of debris in the way, cheering for you to remove that specific piece, hoping that will be the key to increase flow a good amount. I watch your videos on a big OLED TV with the sound system cranked a good amount, as if it was an action movie. My girlfriend thinks I'm going crazy, but I don't give a damn.
I encounter my first beaver around 2 weeks ago. Was mowing the lawn and was getting the area by a steam and a beaver kinda chased me off. It stood up on its back legs and kinda put its front paws together like it was asking me to let it stay. It was very cute. The lawn mower did not scare it any. I backed up and finished up other parts of the yard. It was eating some clovers and moved around my yard. Have been checking the stream to see if it moved in but so far nothing. I think it was just checking out the area. My land is part protected wetlands to unless it endangers the bridge it can do what it wants.
You should collect visions of major spews, like the outpouring of tan silt followed by the most-satisfying ejection of the grassy hunk! That was absolutely brilliant! I love learning more about water-flow and so many other interesting, mostly useful, and thought-generating subjects and skills. Thank you for teaching by example.

Hi Post! Thank you for your video’s. They are really great and peaceful. My favourite is about unclogging streets in the middle of the rain 😀. But other unclogging looks pretty good too. You are doing great job!

Hello, noticed you have a co-pilot. Anyway a lot of the woods roads you travel, look familiar, but once your in the woods, they all look a like. Ever go to Western Maine, Eustis, Rangeley, over that way ?
