Yes he is a great guy but regarding autographs I really wish they were readable and can make out the person's name somehow. So many celebs are lazy and just use some scribble
Everyone always loves Aronian. When you read about his childhood you become even more of a fan of him and that he managed to cultivate such a good and pure spirit despite it.
@@solinvictus6587 He was an amazing player. On par with Kramnik he was drawn 7-7 with Kramnik in World championship match in 2004 but he lost. Amazing player
@@seya_2 Yes, he was. I grew up in Hungary and in the 90s it was widely publicized when he became the world's youngest GM, breaking the previous record of her fellow Hungarian Judit Polgár.
Right, he's so nice that you wouldn't think it. But then he says things in commentary, that Nobody else does, not even danya. As a top player, he can often see positions that are practically very tricky or saveable despite the engine saying -2 or whatever, see Magnus's first rapid tie break vs Alireza, he was saying magnus has great chances when the computer said -2 and magnus ended up winning@@seya_2
It's amazing to me that professional chess players remembers chess positions like this. Like they're just saying "b4 b5 nc6 bla bla bla" and everyone of them knows that how the position in the game was. It's remarkable.
@@seya_2He's a great player no doubt but you're selling Kramnik short with that comparison. Kramnik was World Champion multiple times, top-10 player of all time, has a much higher peak rating, held no. 1 position in ranking while Leko's peak was #4. There's no comparison between the two.
Yes! When he was playing Foosball few days ago :D :D You can probably find a video from it on UA-cam. EDIT: seems like it's hard to find, but it was in one of the livestream "b-rolls" type of thing of this tournament. He was high-fiving and smiling from ear to ear!
love it how humble Levon signs all the autographs. As if he was thanking them that they were there supporting him and waited for him
Kinda weird to see so many asking for autographs rather than selfies

My personal opinion about Levon after following this tournament is sky-high.
What a gent.
levon is really nice also can also trash talk. search his bughouse games. very entertaining

I became a fan of Levon after Chennai GM tournament in December 2023.
Pls do an interview with peter leko. He is a great commentator and has so many stories / anecdotes for the spectators.
Yes, I could listen to him all day. I remember his stories about wrestling, such a nice story and an unexpected one.
Levon is such an amazing person. God bless!
I would listen the heck out of a podcast by Levon and Peter! That would actually be aaamazing.
peter looks like he really wants to play
Leko and Levon are so f+++ wholesome
This world needs more human beings like Levon. You just have to love him.
Dejando aparte que es un gran maestro......es una humilde persona....que todos los ajedrecistas admiran.
Although I love chess but I love it more because of levon ,a truly humble champion and an inspirational human being .
Levon has always been my favorite player. I have been playing chess for over 40 years.
Have new found appreciation for both Levon and Peter after following this tournament. Couple gems!
this is amazing! thanks, ChessBase India
Legendary content..
Peter leko should play events then and there
He hasn't played on tournaments for years. He's working as Vincent's coach now. However, I'm sure he could easily be a Top 40 player even now.

Does Peter indulge in Titled Tuesdays?@@solinvictus6587
So insightful! I can't believe Peter doesn't still play regularly, he is so strong!
I love this tournament : beautiful place and decoration, cosy, nice atmospehere, everuthing is right, we see the backstage, it feels like at home
What a treat and what fun to watch them - the total involvement in chess,!
Thanks Sagar
6:40 - that laughter
What a man levon is 😊 i want to meet him some day
I just love Lev.
A wonderful moment that shows the camaraderie between the players.

Super video...levon gives positive vibe always!!
Levon is the man
@@shashishekhar----Right on!
Love the behind the scenes stuff with this event. Hope others copy the template.
Levon is a true gentleman
3:03 LOL they can't help themselves and they set up the initial position as in normal chess, despite being in a chess960 tournament. :)
What position should they set up instead? Its new position every game
Two Gentlemen in our Chess community ... i do enjoy listening to these two chess encyclopedia ... Thanks GMs
Levon seems like the coolest gut there …
So wholesome.
And this, ladies and gents, is how it looks like if you don't need anything in life but chess.
A rare sighing of Peter Leko who is legendary
Leko got old. I remember him being a very young boy at Investbanka chess tournament in Belgrade in 1995. I was in the audience when he beat Kramnik.
That mean you are also getting old
@@melzz True. 😊
I love this they are all so excited and having fun
Leko’s the best. I wish I had his chess understanding. Even more, I wish I had his accent!
lol Levon "I saw this position" *proceeds to make 20 moves* just different levels
I hope someday Grischuk will be invited to event like this, it will be fun to hear his thoughts
levon is delightful 😂
Levon is a genius
Interactions between commentator GM and player GM,amazing
Peter is one of the best of previous generation. On par with Prime Kramnik dare I say

I love this side of Peter Leko. I wish he was this animated and enthusiastic during the broadcasts.
So much influenced by levon... Hope someday I can meet him and have a few sentence with him❤❤
The language of chess...😍
Luckily for us, the camera was rolling
A Hungarian, an Armenian and a German talk about chess in english. 🤣🤣 And almost all chess players are a genuinely wonderful people.
i'm in heaven
