Tough Life of Yellowstone Bison: Trekking through Deep Snow

Bison trek in deep snow in Yellowstone National Park. We spotted the bison from the road running down a hill. They were having a difficult time trekking through about three feet of snow. The herd of bison followed each others foot steps to help create a pathway through the snow. Bison are very resilient and its amazing how they survive these difficult Northwest winters.
