Grizzly Bear Mom and Two Cubs Play and Cuddle in Yellowstone National Park
Grizzly bear mom and two cubs play and cuddle in Yellowstone National Park. The grizzly mother was resting under a tree mid morning in the North East section of the Park. When we started to film one of the cubs was already high up in a tree while the other grizzly bear cub cuddle with mom. Then the grizzly cub became curious about it's sibling and decided to climb up after it. It was fun to watch the grizzly bear cubs climb up and down the tree and play with each other.
This video was taken with a zoom lens in 4K. The two grizzly bear cubs seemed to be about a year old. The mother hung out in this area near the road for a few days. We were able to see her and the cubs all three days we were in Yellowstone. #bear #grizzlies #yellowstone #wildlife #nature

Wild wolf encounter in Yellowstone National Park. An amazing sighting of a wolf leaping into the air. The black wolf was eating a bison carcass in Hayden Valley. The wolf would chase the ravens off the carcass by leaping straight up into the air. This was an incredible sight, something we have not seen before. We watched the wolf for about two hours. At one point the wolf went down to the river...

While we were waiting for the bison's to get off the road another bison couple stood right across from our car. The male bison was trying to get the female bison's attention. Gorgeous, gorgeous wolf. Also want to say something about its radio collar: radio collars only weigh around 500 grams, which isn’t even 2% of a wolf’s total body weight. It’s not as intrusive as many think, and is a great contributing factor to the protection of wolves. The use of radio collars allows biologists to collect data about daily wolf life that otherwise wouldn’t be known, and has in the past helped to get something done about wolf hunting outside the border of Yellowstone because of a mortality signal transmitted from the collar when a wolf dies. Radio collars have also been seen to save wolves’ lives before, as a usually fatal neck bite can be shielded by the collar or result in the collar being torn off which, in both cases, allows the wolf being attacked to get away with its life. Radio collars aren’t a hinderance to the wildness of an animal, but instead an adapting way for people to help fight against the destruction of nature we have caused. Also a wolf pack doesn’t abandon a member who wears a radio collar, they are not a species who rejects a family member because they smell like a human. The biggest inconvenience of sorts is that it takes a couple hours for the collaring process to take place, as biologists need to wait until the wolf is fully asleep after tranquillizing, then actually put the collar on and assess the wolf’s health, and then the wolf needs to wake up fully before rejoining its pack. And biologists make sure a wolf is completely safe while asleep and waking back up. Radio collars aren’t invasive and help more than hinder wolves. They have been being collared since their reintroduction in the 1990’s, and a huge amount of the most successful wolves in the whole time they’ve been back in the park have been radio collared and were never hindered on a hunt or a fight because of their radio collar.

My god people are annoying with their stupid shrieking. I can understand when children do it, but these idiots sound like they are adults and yet they have zero self-control. It ruins the experience for others. Yellowstone (or any other national park) is not a petting zoo. It is a place in the wilderness that has been made accessible to humans, who should be respectful and cautious when they are there - especially when observing wildlife.

A huge grizzly bear claims a bison carcass in Yellowstone National Park. The bison was killed by the Mollie's wolf pack in Lamar Valley the previous day. When we arrived to the scene there were two coyotes feeding on the bison carcass. Then all of a sudden a very large grizzly bear runs towards the carcass and claims it. We were able to watch the grizzly feed, drag and defend the meat from the ravens for about two hours until we ran out of daylight. The Mollie's wolf pack was quite a distance away, across the river and up the hill over looking the Valley. We could spot them through our scope but were only able to capture a quick video with our camera due to distance and wind. This is part one. We were able to film the grizzly the following morning, watch out for that video coming soon.
