If it didn't catch before, I'll say the data visualization was a great idea! Especially neat with these sorts of odd restriction-enforced grinds, helps to elucidate the nature of the challenge. Your videos have some of the best overall production in this niche of 'content-creation'. Always looking forward to what comes next : )
Never has anyone ever decided to spend this much time in Yanille. For this account, it’s not even classified as a town, more as a prison. Godspeed unto thou.
@@CM-ry5pt is that not the main goal of almost anything in OSRS? To minimize the time spent in whatever process that you’re working on at any given time?
@@Nitemarish it’s meta because it both minimizes time spent in combat for the sake of raw leveling and it’s AFKable (you can do anything other than OSRS while playing OSRS!)
I just want to say your editing is amazing. You somehow manage to include a decent amount of edits but do it in such a clean minimal way that has great impact on what youre discussing or doing that it is chefs kiss.
I'm so glad I stumbled across this vid. I walked by you while you were in the piano house and I spent a lot of time wondering why some guy was gear swapping men.
dude i have watched 10 billion youtube videos and this is the first time I have actually liked an ad lol. Good for you going to college and actually learning something and making real games
I'll say it again for the algorithm: That's some stellar editing and amazing content. Narration on point, you sound excited! I know I am for this series.
that xp percent tracker visualization was one of the most enjoyable to see progress I've seen in any rs progress vid you are very cool please keep doing yanille shenanigans
It's really neat data visualization, makes it really easy to follow I figured the max. HP was going to be a problem, but I didn't really think of just... knocking them out with a different weapon after - neat Really nice progress, thank you for sharing your journey :)
data visualizations are top tier, though honestly you went even harder on these ones than you needed to, I would've settled for static graphs, not fully animated ones.
Absolutely huge production value, and super entertaining! From one creator to another, I gotta say you deserve to have 100k more viewers on these videos ❤
So glad to see you still putting in work on this, really excited to see what all you’ve done and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this account!
Saw this episode dropped earlier in the day and was eagerly waiting for my work day to end to tune in! Awesome stuff - I too faced an incredible time gaining my range level on my area restricted account (Tirannwn) 😅
Data visualisation was amazing!!! Incredible video as always, i checked your channel just the other day hoping to see a new vid so was very pleasantly surprised to wake up this morning and see this from you! Some of the most enjoyable OSRS content with such a unique vibe and style out there :)
I clicked on the video when it was first posted to be in my watch history so I can easily watch it in the evening while in bed. I was looking for it for like half an hour lol
Your Graphs and visualisations are insane. They add so much More to the Videos. A Level of production quality no other osrs creator has. Keep the awesome work up!!!
Here to say that I love the visualization c: Helps break down the crazy math involved and shows how much progress is made with big brain strats like the scimmy switch! c:
First video in the series that I've watched and love the production quality. Can also see the influences from other osrs creators to create your very own style. Lookin good
Also i always love hearing fun (and not so fun) Yanille facts, plz keep them coming! Hyped to see what weird 2002 RSC mechanics Salarin the Twisted has!!!
11:18 - I realize I am late to the party but your math is off here. It's not the absolute % difference that you want to be measuring, but the relative difference. You were in fact catching up even though the absolute percentage difference is growing the relative difference is shrinking, and is what really matters. Divide the lower bar by the higher bar (relative difference) and that's what you want to use to gauge if you are actually catching up. For example: - If your range exp is 5% and your knives were at 10% you would be half way (50%) to the rate you expected. With an absolute difference of 10-5 = 5% - If your range exp is 15% and your knives are at 20% then even though the absolute difference is still 5% (20-15) you are now 75% of the rate you expect, so you are catching up. You were still right to change up the method to get full use of the range exp, but you weren't as bad off as you thought.
The percentage point difference in xp was the wrong way to think about it. Think about it, what's the better situation to be in: using up 3% of knives to get 1% of ranged xp, or using up 99% of knives to get 96% of ranged xp? In the latter situation, the percentage point difference is greater (3 vs. 2), but you're clearly in a better spot. That's because the important thing is the ratio of the percentages, not the difference. In the former situation, you would be earning 1/3 = 33% of the experience rate you needed, in the latter, you would be earning 96/99 = 97% the experience rate you needed. Let me put it another way. At 8:11 you say you have 2,605 knives to get 101,333 xp, so you needed 39 xp per knife. At 9:56, you had used 99 knives to get 1,115 xp, a rate of 11 xp per knife. This is 28% of the xp per knife that you needed, and notice that 11/39 = 1.1/3.8. At 10:59, you had used 274 knives to get 5,269 xp, a rate of 19 xp per knife. Your situation was getting *better* not worse. You can tell because 5.2/10.5 > 1.1/3.8.
You’re not wrong, the ratios were becoming more favorable, but still the gap in xp to knives used wasn’t closing even based on the trends of the ratios if you want to look at it that way, so it’s just another way of looking at the data. I do respect this approach tho
