In case you wonder, the best crowd they've had in my opinion was at the secret gig in Glastonbury 2017. specially Mr Brightside. Epic! But it's not on youtube due to copyright infringements.
In this one they played The Jacques Lu Cont's Thin White Duke Mix first + Regular version. at TRNSMT Festival 2018.
Mr. Brightside is like the UK national anthem, it's crazy over here. The Killers are literally the most british non-british band I've ever seen. To the point where it was only about 4-5 years ago I learned they were American.
I think this song is STILL on the UK top 100 music charts, even though the song came out in 2004
Me? 2 years ago. I was turned onto them by Cameron Diaz in the movie The Holiday!

I just checked as of today 25/03/2024 Mr Brightside is 65th in the UK singles chart and has been in the chart for 402 weeks straight! it first charted in 2004 but this latest run in the charts started back in 2016 when the song just popped back in and hasn't left and is still going strong. may it continue 🤘🖤

I love how it was just the soft instrument verse until verse 2, and even when the arrangement was softer, the audience was almost loud enough to drown out the lead singer. LOL This speaks to the longevity of the song.....came out in the early 2000's and still is a top-selling song, that FILLS venues. That place was FULL....Standing room ONLY.
This entire concert is incredible, especially when Tony plays the drum in "For reasons unknown", this concert was a Masterpiece. Scots rule.
As a Brit this is like a National Anthem, The reason you get these kind of crowds in the UK is because of Pubs, That’s our practice sessions 😂 so when you get a gig or festival this is the result.

I've seen the killers live several times in the past 20 years, most recently festival in 2017. To everyone's surprise and delight, they actually opened up their set with this song, which is usually one of their closers. Everyone including me went absolutely bonkers
I just checked today (10/05/2024) and Mr Brightside is No. 50 on the Australian ARIA singles chart.

Have you guys ever seen the video of a crowd at a Green Day concert singing bohemian rhapsody before the actual concert? That's another example of an amazing crowd and it gives me goosebumps when I watch it.

We are of course the best crowd in the world for live performances going way back to the days of the Apollo in Glasgow. ask any major artists who is the best crowd live and they will tell you Glasgow, Scotland 🏴👍🏻🎸🎸
