Hello again! Is there a way to take a directional stone like that and orient the color more so it flashes when looking at it straight on instead of at an angle like you show in your video?
Basically you figure out what angle you want then cut the opposite side (base) perpendicular to that angle. Then you can just dop it on a stick and spin it as normal
The ends bother me more. Once it's nice and round, and I've moved the angle of the flash as vertical a I dare, I'll make sure the fire is wall to wall
bugger that's a nice sheen. I would bring in the sides some as well.
Fyi the opal looks MUCH NICER with the sides brought in

Yes, and I did exactly that.
