- These are 5 things I wish I knew before I shaved my hair. Does that mean I regret it? Absolutely not. But if you're considering whether or not your should cut your hair short, this is the video for you. Also, that piece of fluff on my head is annoying me too, I know.

Shave your head then get a full lace wig. You can go from one extreme to the other in no time lol. That's what I'm doing cuz my cousin burnt my hair off with bleach and now I have a shorter spot and patches

I’m struggling hard right now. I lost so many things in the past two years - most importantly: myself. I cut about 10cm of my hair about a week or two ago and cried like a baby. And I cried only because I know that the guy I have sort of relationship with told me that he doesn’t like short hair. Well, I just realised that I’m only plan b. So I’m gathering courage to shave my head. I want to start a new chapter. I want to find myself. I want to be better. And the hair (actually the guy) is in my way. So, here I am, just out of shower and I KNOW I will shave my hair in the near future. I’ll update you after.

I understand losing yourself is hard, and it’s difficult to find yourself again. But I have hope for you that you will and that when you do shave your head it might help.

I finally shaved my head when I turned 13 and I was so happy, my mom was extremely mad and did nothing but insult me but I didn’t care I loved my hair short it’s been 4 years now and my hair is finally past my shoulders and I’m so glad I can say I’ve went through the experience of cutting my hair.

When I cut off my hair to 12mm I was never mistaken a boy ,but now that my hair is growing again ,I got called a boy more often ..so think of that !😂😂

Like how everyone had to have an opinion or your insecurities about your femininity, just to name a few. I don't think I ever commented on one of your videos before but it's one of the things that I really loved about your channel, how you would raise some serious issues but you always kept it positive and it's honestly really great to hear from you again!

My (African) wife has been shaving for the past 5 years. She has been totally bald, never even crew cut length, for that time without a break. If you feel drawn to do it then you must try it. It is too big an experience to pass up without trying it out. If you don't like the result then you can grow it back. But it can be an emotionally delicious experience for a woman and almost unbelievably emotionally freeing. A fully bald head makes a woman must less conventionally pretty but can make her much more deeply and interestingly beautiful. Going bald is a kind of emotional and spiritual striptease which is why so many bald women manifest extraordinary inner radiance.
I never get over the excitement of sharing my life and my bed with someone who has such a thrillingly exciting and deeply beautiful look.

I cut my hair a year ago from 114cm (about 45 inches) down to a short, 'masculine' hair cut and it was honestly the best decision i ever made! I've not cut it since then so it is back down to my shoulders and now i'm planning to go for a grade 7 or 8 buzz cut, just trying to psyche myself up again and your vid was super helpful. (ps: you look gorgeous btw)

I used to have thigh length hair. In the past I have cut it to bob's and pixies and grown it out again to my hips and thighs because my friend's and family would have such hard opinions or think it's a phase. I feel like I've always been inching and inching my way to a shaved head and was scared of all the opinions. I finally got fed up with all the tangles, maintenance, neck pain from the weight, migraines, hundreds of dollars a month on products just to keep it healthy, for what? I HATED IT. So I finally took my brothers buzzer and lopped it all off. I've NEVER felt more beautiful, feminine, and HAPPY. I shut down opinions and have no regrets. I think everyone should make the jump at least once that way you can say you tried it and never have to regret that you didn't do it. It will grow out but you can say you did it whether or not you liked it
I’ve always preferred how I look with short hair. I’ve done “the big chop” twice. I currently have chemically relaxed hair so that I can rock a pixie haircut, but shelter in place has me wanting my natural curls back. Really bad. I also want to start working out regularly again. I’m going to take your video appearing as a recommendation as a sign to cut my hair again. Thanks for the inspiration.

It looks amazing. I’ve done it twice in my life and every time I grow it out, I miss it so much. Considering doing it again. I just bought my own shaver and trimmed it whenever I felt like, saved so much money and funnily enough I feel more feminine with a bald head. Did wonders for my mental health, finally shrugging off what society expects me to look like. The freedom was amazing. Feeling my scalp properly was just awesome. Everyone should experience it at least one time in their life.

Love the cut and I went thru all that too. I don’t wear wigs or weaves but had long hair and cut it all. I couldn’t do it until after my grandfather passed because he always fussed at me when I even trimmed it. Sorry grandpa. My mother was like why did you cut all your pretty hair off. Well I did it in 2016 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I let it grow and then cut it back off. I love not combing hair!!

I love having my hair short, I used to cut my hair all the time, I went through the short hair Rihanna phase in high school for awhile and when I finally big chopped I loved it, I miss it, I haven't cut my hair in about 5 years now and I love my hair now too but God I wish I knew how addicted I'd be to keeping my hair short, every once in awhile I get this intense need to completely shave it off.
Girl you are telling my story, I'm in the bath shaving my hate simular to yours. When you workout then have to go work after, trying to style my hair is stressing me out. I'm sick of wigs and braids. You look amazing keep rocking it.
I have been shaving my head for years now (yes, I'm a woman), I like to keep them completely shaved on skin fade (the shortest option on the clipper short of using a razor blade) and I shave them once a week to maintain the skin fade. And YES, I started wearing beanie hats in winter, but I absolutely LOVE shaving my hair and I plan to keep on doing it for many, many, many years :)

I had dreads for six years and recently cut them off. I considered shaving, but chickened out and went with a pixie. After seeing your video, maybe I'll shave it soon anyway (or maybe I'll wait for summer... I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold, lol).

I cut my hair off after a breakup and initially I loved it but I could never recreate the way the stylist styled it the first time and everytime she has cut it since then has been sort of inconsistent and I'm just not vibing with it anymore. I'm just growing it out again now. I'm just so frustrated that it takes so long to see the growth on 4C natural hair.

I’ve gone bald before and I got so many compliments, I’ve grown it out to about 16 inches and the maintenance is just too much and I live in south USA so I’m constantly overheating. I think I’m going to shave it again and be unique and different in my own way😭♥️

Oh my gosh, 2:58. When I shaved for the first time, a person I worked with asked if I was going to wear make up now. I asked why? and they said so I don't get mistaken for a boy.
And it was really weird working out for the first few times because I thought I was sweating a lot more but then I realised it was just because the sweat didn't have any hair to hide in.

Maybe blonde tips, like hair that goes from black to blond in an ombre. That will suit your eyes bc brown eyes lights up with lighter colored hair.

I am an old woman with short, short white hair. It almost looks like it was shaved and the color at the roots is a beautiful white color, not grey or yellow. I have thought about shaving it too because I don’t like the feel of hair on my neck or face. It really should not be anyone’s business as to what a woman does with her hair. That is more power to us as women, I say! You look great with short hair too!
