7:39 The matrix numbers follow a pattern where column 2 is the sum of the two numbers from column 1. Similarly, column 3 is the sum of the two from column 2. 5+7=12; 1+2=3 8+9=17; 1+7=8 9+9=18; 1+8=9 Answer: C) 9
I got another answer for question 2 add the left number to the top and bottom numbers and the result is square of right side number. 6 + 8 + 2 = 16 4^2 = 16 similarly 2 + 5 + 2 = 9 3^2 = 9 so finally the answer is 3.
No idea if this was optimal but it was atleast intuitive for me. Question #2 i just looked at what the difference between each of the numbers and in what pattern they were illustrated, assumed this was to be mirrored on the other diamond and and concluded that the missing number was 5. In the left column where the top number (T) was "8", leftmost number (L) was "6", rightmost number was (R) "4" and bottom number (B) was "2": T8-L6 = 2 R4-B2 = 2 There for the value between the numbers going on a diagonal from southwest toward northeast has to be the same. T8-R4 = 4 L6-B2 = 4 Therefor the value between the numbers going on a diagonal from southeast toward northwest has to be the same Replicating this onto the right diamond box with the missing number: T5 - L2 = 3 L2 - L2 = 0 aka no difference So, going by the previous diamond where there is a rule of matching differentials between each corrosponding pair of numbers, then the same has to be true for this one, ergo, there has to be a number pair both resulting in a differential of 3 and at the same time 0, thus the only solution would be "5" as that would complete the pattern.
The ABDF Matrix I got the same solution but way simpler. I thoiught from B to D we skip one letter (C), From D to F we skip one letter (E). If we skip one letter again from F (which is G) we land on H!

I got another answer for question 2
add the left number to the top and bottom numbers and the result is square of right side number.
6 + 8 + 2 = 16
4^2 = 16
similarly
2 + 5 + 2 = 9
3^2 = 9
so finally the answer is 3.
No idea if this was optimal but it was atleast intuitive for me.
Question #2 i just looked at what the difference between each of the numbers and in what pattern they were illustrated, assumed this was to be mirrored on the other diamond and and concluded that the missing number was 5.
In the left column where the top number (T) was "8", leftmost number (L) was "6", rightmost number was (R) "4" and bottom number (B) was "2":
T8-L6 = 2
R4-B2 = 2
There for the value between the numbers going on a diagonal from southwest toward northeast has to be the same.
T8-R4 = 4
L6-B2 = 4
Therefor the value between the numbers going on a diagonal from southeast toward northwest has to be the same
Replicating this onto the right diamond box with the missing number:
T5 - L2 = 3
L2 - L2 = 0 aka no difference
So, going by the previous diamond where there is a rule of matching differentials between each corrosponding pair of numbers, then the same has to be true for this one, ergo, there has to be a number pair both resulting in a differential of 3 and at the same time 0, thus the only solution would be "5" as that would complete the pattern.

5 + 7 = 12 | 12 - 9 = 3
8 + 9 = 17 | 17 - 9 = 8
9 + 9 = 18 | 18 - 9 = 9
The answer is C
4×5-6
C=65
This is such BS has nothing to do with the FEAST test
It may not be directly related but it helps with pattern recognition and get you in the necessary mindset.
