@@jamesmarshall3311 My point is that the 992 Turbo S should have been available in a manual format also, rather than introducing a seperate, underpowered version.
It's actually a 7 speed manual gearbox. They just use gear 6 and 7 to save fuel. A pity, overal shorter ratios (vmax in 7th gear) would increase the fun a lot.
Nice, I've already commented that the T is my pick of the 911 range, glad you agree :D Honestly though, if I got it, I'd put narrower and smaller rims and tyres on it

❓❓❓ .... Hi Max , i have a question . ....... On the Autobahn you reached 300 km/h in fifth gear . What would happen if in the speed of 300 km/h you would up shift to the sixth or seventh geat and pushed the gas pedal to the max power ??? ......... Would it accelerate further ???
When you saw how long is the 5th gear, you can just imagine 6th and 7th. You use those 2 last gears only when you are driving on a open road and want to save as much fuel as possible
Thing is 385hp is a lot of power for some people, problem is you're used to driving 600 plus hp cars, that's the problem. Did you get buffering from James May quotes?

damn that 5th is so tall, kind of pointless having 7sp in a sports car when its only to reduce CO2 on paper, more closely stacked 1-6 and overdrive 7th would be the best combo,
I can never understand this lust for Manual when the Carrera comes standard with the amazing pdk gearbox. Which is as smooth as silk and faster changes than humanly possible with a manual... Also means you can have adaptive cruise control. And sport plus on pdk changes down for when you're hoofing it. Manual ? No thanks
