WOW!! You have been a busy, busy girl! Such gorgeous quilts; I think I would be on quilting beauty overload just doing them. What fun you must have even though I am sure it is a lot of hard work too. The quilt that you made and finished is absolutely gorgeous. Just stunning……………
It's the BEST job! Handling all this beautiful fabric and seeing those pantographs stitch out! I get so excited!
Your meadowlark quilt is definitely a blue ribbon quilt. I noticed a red gray and white quilt on the shelf to the left. Would love to see that quilt. And if you have time on your videos I would really enjoy seeing your older personal family quilts. Maybe one or two a month would be a real treat. Pat Sloan showes a lot of hers and its so fun to see older color combinations and patterns. To me well loved quilts are the most beautiful.
Thank you Claudia for your kind words! Also, thank you for the idea of showing older quilts. I will begin working them in. Happy quilting!
Love these quilts!!!
I agree! They are all beautiful!
I recently found your UA-cam shows. I have been watching the previous ones. So happy to catch a current one. I love watching and listening to you while I sew.
Yay! Thanks for watching!
The quilts are all beautiful. However the red quilt and Flower Power are inspirational! Funny, I just dowloaded a free pattern from FQS that used Flower Power! When I ever master the HST, I'm going to make those quilts!!!
Wonderful! Have fun!
Hello. I’m so glad I found you some months ago. Your voice is soothing. You have a way with your teaching skills❤❤. I’ve learned much from you. Thank You.
The batik quilt Is from Better Homes and Garden, “Make It Modern” ; 2018. The quilt name is “Juxtaposition”. The designer: Amy Walsh of BlueUnderground studios. I made this out of mostly batiks. It turned out so beautiful. I love it and enjoying it on my couch. I’d send you a pic but I’m not sure how to do it.
Thank you so much! I was able to find it on All People Quilt. The information has been added to the notes. You can send me a picture of yours. hello@tammieearnestquilting.com
Ive been to Olive Grace! You are right! It is adorable. Lovely fabrics. Friendly folks. Its an hour and a half from my jome so it doesn't work with my split shift job. I make it a summer destination shop. Worth the trip!
Wonderful! I can’t wait to go!
Thank you, again, for sharing all those quilts. I love seeing the pantographs you choose. Always the perfect ones. Thank you, again. ❤
My pleasure MaryAnne! You are a blessing!
Wow! The client quilt you made with Kansas Troubles fabric is so pretty, I am sure your client will love it. All of the quilts are amazing., and I am always inspired with ideas for quilts to make. You are a busy lady, and now with two long arms we get to see more quilts. Lisa is a prolific quilter also and her quilts are so beautiful. With the leftover Minky, could it be sewn together in big blocks to make a scrappy backing for another quilt? I don’t know how the seams would lay. Have a Happy Day.
Thank you Pam! I have thought about this too but I will need to try it for myself or do some research before accepting any client backings.
I love watching your quilt parade. You have some very talented customers and your quilting is awesome. Thank you for sharing.
My clients are awesome and the fact that they let me handle all these beautiful fabrics is such a joy!!
Love, love your videos. Thank you for sharing your talents along with the quilters gorgeous quilts as well. I truly appreciate the pattern and pantograph names for reference. Thank you for that. Happy quilting ❤
You are so welcome!
Tammy you never disappoint.😊♥️ All the quilts are beautiful. I love the Minky backings; my favorite this time was the ‘red and white’ star quilt with the Chantilly lace pantograph! Gorgeous♥️ Thank you for sharing.
You are so kind! Thank you!
Ohhhhh my gosh, the sail boats, beautiful just beautiful
I know!!
Wow.....stunning quilts. Love the Jaye Bird Rose of Sharon quilt and fabric!❤
It was darling!
This was exciting you talking about the quilt shoo in a school house. I live in ohio so i looked it up. I had been there. Went on a bus they had picnic tables and we wete able to have our lunch there. Im pretty sure that was the one. Really nice people ran it but this was some time back tho.
Oh wow! That is so cool!
Tammy the Meadow Larks song is a work of art. How will you ever let it go.
Thank you! Another great thing about quilting . . . you can always make another one!
Such great quilts this week. And love the new pantographs. ❤
Me too!! Thanks!
The first quilt is beautiful I love colors. Thank you for sharing these amazing quilts.
You are so welcome!
The Meadow Lark Song is gorgeous and I love the pantograph❣️ I look forward to trying to duplicate the 2nd quilt. I love the bright colors and the simplicity of the pattern. Your customers are very talented. What a great job you have and your quilting enhances each of them. I appreciate how you explain how you do your pantographs.
Thanks for the info on extra fabric needed for long-arming especially minky that may be inconsistently cut. Great trivia info!
Thank you for the kind words Marsha! You are right, I have the BEST job!
Loved your show! Such beautiful quilts and your work is amazing!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for another great video! I wanted to let you know that I tried your mix & match pressing method that you described on your last video on some patchwork bags, and it worked great! Now I can see how people use so much white background fabric - I was always afraid that something would show through that, but now I understand how they did it. I was thinking that your kids were really lucky to have you as their teacher because you always make it a point to explain why you do the things the way you do. Thanks again and have a great week!
I'm so glad it was a help to you and oh, that is such a nice compliment! Thank you! It breaks my heart when I hear parents yell at their children. Sometimes, kids just don't know what to do, or how to do it, it's not always disobedience. Just to be clear, there were TOO MANY times that I raised my voice with my kids, when I shouldn't have. But the older I get, and the more I "people watch," it just confirms to me that children respond so much better when they are talked WITH and not talked AT. I love my kiddos and miss those days when they were all home!
@@tammieearnest I'm sure you've taught them to be the best that they can be, which is really, really great! Thanks again for being such a positive influence for all of us!!
Tammy, you do such beautiful work! I have a longarm but lack confidence in my skills... but mostly I have such a hard time deciding what to quilt on my quilts. Thanks for sharing your work. I love it!
Oh keep at it Judy! Stay tuned for next week where I’ll share some of my early quilts! 😳. It’s all part of the journey. Just keep moving forward. Clarity comes in the doing!
All beautiful quilts with beautiful quilting!! Thank you, Tammie, for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Thanks Tammie...beautiful quilts and quilting...best wishes❤❤
Thank you so much!
The second qu9lt looks like a free pattern from Fatquarter Shop called Fat Eighth Flip.
Very similar. Thank you for the information. I was able to find the exact pattern, called Juxtaposition, on All People Quilt.com
Thoroughly enjoyed this episode! I had a hard time staying with my sewing tonight because I was so caught up in the beautiful quilts! Tom will be so pleased with his Meadowlark's Song quilt. I will be making it for myself!
I have a jelly roll and a couple yardage pieces of Flower Power. Lisa's quilt makes me want to sew with that fabric too. 😄
The Flower Power fabric was a lot of fun to work with! Wouldn’t t want to wear it again but it’s fun to quilt it! 🌸
Great quilts, lovely long arm work!
Remind your followers that if they were to receive your newsletter they will have a review of all you showed in the latest episode, great resource, thank you Tammie!
Thank you. This very thought has been on my mind this week. Thanks for the confirmation!
What is that beautiful yardage on the whole cloth quilt?!😍
Unfortunately, I did not receive any information about it. So sorry.
@@tammieearnest Your work is so beautiful and your kind, calm demeanor is lovely. Thank you for responding.
Beautiful quilts! As always I choose a fave, n this week it's meadowlark. Stunning❤
Thanks so much Teresa!
@@tammieearnest stay safe tonite!!
I can’t wait for your video’s each week as a fellow long arm quilter💕 I don’t have a computerized model. Just older work horse that’s human powered. Love that you share pantograph style, thread choices, and quilt backing. It’s nice you can play with size on the computer version. I’m stuck with paper so that is a drawback but it’s much easier than quilting on my domestic machine. Love your videos thanks💕🇨🇦
Thank you! I'm so glad you join me each week. Have you tried practicing free motion? I never used paper pantographs when I had my hand guided machine. Because you follow paper pantographs already, I am sure that you have committed some of those movements to memory. I think you could do it!
@@tammieearnest I have done a lot of free motion quilting but don’t enjoy it, and I don’t feel great at it. Pantos are easier, more precise, and some what mindless (not to be rude). I was part of a long arm guild in my area and found it stressed me out as people studied your mistakes and provided their opinions, which weren’t always helpful. Needless to say often times we expect perfection but forget we are human. I’m no longer part of that group as I found it counter productive and much of the group was unproductive. It was always the same few people who showed their work, whom I found supportive. I may dabble again in it from time to time. But like the pantographs.💕
Wonderful work here. I getting interested on the minky is it difficult to quilt.
Thanks. No it is not difficult to quilt. It is a bit "stretchy" and I find it easier to load the selvages onto the leaders for that reason.
love your quilting
Thank you! You are very kind!
So many beautiful quilts again! Do you know the name of the star quilt pattern. Looking for one to make for my son’s 50th birthday and I think he would like that.
Unfortunately I do not. I will try to find out.
Where is a reliable on line shop for buying Longarm quilting thread. Thanks.
You can purchase through Superior Threads, I believe.
Do you know the name of the flower pot panel with green sashing?
Unfortunately I do not.
Love your tutorials
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
