Miss Tammie , you are so talented, the math ,the design choices, the skill are only second to your work ethic. The farm the kids and hubby and yet you are so humble, what a lady. You inspire me .m
You are so sweet! Thank you! 😊
The Hmoetown quilt looks great! I admire people that can keep up with sew alongs and get them done! 🙂
I totally agree!
I just finished the "Strawberry and Rhubarb" quilt! I added blocks and changed the setting which were 420 flying geese! All respect to Ellen, who finished that setting!
Congratulations! Display it proudly!♥️
Thank you for your conversation on quilting tonight! For us that don’t have a long arm, it helps to understand what the quilters have to deal with. I feel my long armer does a very good job. I am not sure that she picks designs that have to be lined up and that is fine with me! I think they look pretty! I do appreciate her work! The quilts you showed are magnificent! I am sure you do enjoy seeing all the variety!
I don’t typically pick these fussy pantographs but sometimes they are the perfect choice for a quilt. And so I dive in!
Oh, wow amazing quilts my favorite was the one for the grandson because it was so unusual and suited to his taste. I really enjoyed seeing them all but also the Lori Holt appliqué so beautiful.
I totally agree!
Your second half of this Quilt video was even better than the first one. You’re calm, but yet you could see the under lying excitement you have for peoples quilts. That is such a complement those Quilter’s and I’m thinking very seriously about sending you one of mine, because I love the way you choose the style and threads and I love the fact that you admit to being human. I love that you’re a good Christian woman and by the way that little Widows walk on the pink house just made it perfect. Thank you for sharing
😉. You are very kind! Thank you!
I look forward to your videos every week. This one has so many beautiful quilts. You always pick the perfect pantograph for each quilt. You put so much thought and detail into every quilt you longarm. The pantograph you picked for the peacock quilt was just perfect. Thank you so much for your videos. ❤😊
You are so welcome! ♥️
I love seeing the talented quilters and their quilts. The pink house with the "gated top" - the architectural element is called a widow's walk. Lori's designs are very thoughtful and a work of art. I would love to try the Bluebird house. I love Eastern Bluebirds.
Thanks for the info! 😉
We are in Phoenix and enjoyed this very much.
All the quilts are just beautiful, I love the pantographs you have chosen for each one. I appreciate your explanation of the difference in the batting and how they each behave in a quilt. Thank you. Look forward to each video.
Thank you so much!
It's so fun to see the same quilts in your videos that I have also made! I sewed along with Corey Yoder too to make Sunny Patches. I have the Peacock panel and some accompanying Peacock Flourish fabrics only mine has a white background. Nope, not made yet. 😅I'll put a note with my fabrics to use the iKat pantograph. Thanks!
All the quilts were beautiful and Hometown was definitely a labor of Love! I appreciate all the time and information you put into your videos.
That is awesome! Thank you for being a faithful viewer!
I recently found your channel. I would like to see you addressing the orange peel issues while you quilt, where you show us your tricks with tucking batting. Thanks
Thanks for the feedback.
This was a lovely video! I recently found your channel and enjoyed it. The music in this one is so beautiful. Makes me think it would be fabulous in a Jane Austin movie. Lovely work on the quilts!
Thank you so much! That’s what my daughters thought too!
Tammie, your quilting enhances even the most simplest of quilts.
You are so sweet!
Thanks Tammie. Nice collection of quilts. I enjoy seeing the completed quilts up close. The Lori Holt Houses is a tempting project.
Yes it is!
I made that FQS BOM quilt and still need to quilt it. Thanks for sharing the quilt design chosen and your tips.
You are so welcome!
On the house quilt, is her machine applique a zig zag stitch or a blanket stitch or a straight stitich. I can't tell, she did an amazing job!
I believe it was the blanket stitch.
Gorgeous quilts this week. Thanks so much for sharing. Great info on lining up the next row for more precise stitching. We’ll never be perfect at it, but your tips and tricks really help. Have a most wonderful weekend. Go Chiefs! 🤗🤗
You are so welcome!
Lori Holt quilt is amazing!! Thanks for sharing!❤
She really is! 💕
Oh my, Tammie, these are some fabulous quilts this week! The amount of work that went into so many of them is mind boggling. The Lori Holt quilt is so beautiful but all of that appliqué (which is not my favorite to do) is so much work buy with fabulous results. Lots of work on all of them today and I love them all. The peacock wall hanging is gorgeous and I agree that the pantograph truly enhanced it even more, great choice. These are so inspiring, and I truly appreciate all of your hard work that went into each one to finish off the complete look that they have. Thank you for sharing and for such inspiration…………….
You are so kind! Thank you Pam, for being a faithful viewer!
Tammie, did you have to use a special foot for the Hometown quilt so it doesn't catch on some oddball spots? Also, I've always wondered what stitch length you normally use. Your quilting is just so meticulous. I love it!
I use a Glide foot and 12 stitches. Hope this helps!
I ordered a glide foot last week and will give it a try. I look forward to your videos every week. They are so relaxing.
Nice job on the tutorial. I must've gotten distracted and didn't finish watching the videoto the end so I missed the tutorial. Duh!
What a great compliment from you, to say you want to keep a customer's quilt! I LOVE Cory Yoder's "Sunwashed" fabric. I can't wait to make a quilt with mine.
Enjoy those fabrics so much!
Agree on the window preference, the brighter the better. 🤍💛. Your work and your clients work are lovely.
Thanks so much!
Thank you for showing the quilts the patterns, the backing and the quilting designs you used. I love this!
You are so welcome!
Wow! That was eye candy for sure. You are so great with your eye as to what looks good. Really enjoyed.
Thank you so much!!
Oh my, those quilts are all beautiful! Thank you for sharing! ❤
Glad you like them!
Oh wow, thanks for getting close to that Lori H quilt- it’s gorgeous! Once I’m done with my appliqué break, that’s one I’m all set to do! 😁
You can do it! It’s gorgeous!
As usual, Tammie, I love your customer quilts❣️ Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Beautiful quilts and quilting...thanks for sharing ❤❤
You are so welcome!
It is a Widow's Walk.
😉
Hi Tammie! Great video. Thanks for mentioning the batting choices. Still a bit confused about how each batting feels and drapes. Which batting snuggles and drapes better - the 80/20 or the 100% cotton? Thanks for your answer and your videos. Love, love the Hometown quilt. Just purchased fabrics and supplies for making one, myself. Finally couldn’t resist any longer😂!
Whoop! Whoop! Good for you!
@@tammieearnest So….which batting drapes and cuddles better in your opinion and experience, the 80/20 or 100% cotton? TIA for your response!
♥♥♥
Hi! Love your channel. I also have the Amara 20 and love it. So far I have only done E2E quilting. I am ready to tackle some semi-custom quilting. I have a few panel quilts that would really look much better without stitching over faces, etc. do you have any tips? I get the ruler work and Pro Stitcher. I’m just afraid my free hand quilting will look like a toddler did it!
Practice! Practice! Draw and doodle on a marker board with the marker held in your fist similar to how you hold the handlebars on your machine. Practice the same movements over and over so that you gain that muscle memory. Lay a piece of clear acetate over your quilt panel and audition your design choices by drawing with dry erase markers on the acetate. Just be careful not to go off the edge! 😳
Hello, sorry I am watching a little late
The link to your website isn't working :/
Hmmm. It works for me. Are you still having trouble?
@@tammieearnest I had tried several different ways and it didn't work. But happy to say that it is working for me now! :)
