Thanks for the first impressions, AJ! I wasn’t rushing-out for this one, so I’ll put it in my “hopefully/eventually” folder (after patches). Sounds like it could he great but just needs some more attention/TLC to make it more exciting/enjoyable to play.

Huge shoutout for always keepin it real in deez streets my man. You saved me my hard eared cash! Such a shame I was really looking forward to this. How on earth is it possible for Skydance who delivered fantastic games before (S&S 1 & 2) to screw this one up????? At least we got RE4 to look forward to which I have no doubt in my mind will deliver if Village is anything to go by
Skydance didn't make the game Captain Syntax, they PUBLISHED it. Apparently they saw nothing wrong with this incredibly lazy port and assumed the idiot masses would gobble it up cause they *said* it was next gen, even though it clearly had almost no additional time/thought put into it.
S&S 2 was an absolute mess at launch and is still a very disappointing sequel. Their good will from S&S 1 has run out. They're gonna have to prove themselves again, because what we've seen lately is not good

I wouldn’t mind buyng game again at full price, but I do mind seeing NO effort. No effort means no money at all.
At least put a lousy secondary attack for enemies so you need to at least be careful with them and watch their moves. And the haptics should not be too much to ask.
Looks like it’s another game made for mobile devices.
Thanks for your honesty, I was going to pull the trigger as a Tenchû/Shinobidô-like game in VR seemed really fun on paper. Will wait to see if they improve it anyhow but this preview is not encouraging... I'll have more time for RE4 and Vertigo 2!

@@bigwiteonebigwite1125 there weren't evaluations yet since the game wasn't even available on the store when this video came out. It's one of thw few games I was about to buy day one because I thought it could only be an improvement over the PSVR1 version and I'm a huge fan of Shinobidô and Tenchû. They missed the mark, could have been great, but I'm glad I didn't bit the bullet 😅

I played through it on PSVR back then and enjoyed it, the gameplay and level design reminded me of older flat titles i played . But in my case it wasn't anything negative. But without an upgrade path and improvements, I won't get it again.
Thanks for saving $30! Recently I saw how was reworked "Wanderer" game (which I'll definitely buy) and now this one... No new graphics, no fixed combat and no money from me.

It should be noted however, that the reason you were moving diagonal is because it is controller based directional movement
Yeah but the head wouldn't stay on track with the feet. Also at launch, there was no options other than turning speed and vignette.
I was going to buy it on PC but I don't think I'll even give it a try after this video

Hehe, Arashis Castle Next gen VR2 version.... - exactly why i am not so excited about Quest 3 - play the last gen visuals just with better clarity. There is much more to do than just raising the resolution...especially for a rebuy.

Well that sucks. I had my doubts the moment they claimed it was going to be a "next gen" refresh, despite also having a Quest port. Ten internet points says they spent 95% of their time porting it to quest and 5% of their time porting the psvr1 version, sans any upgrades that would have mattered.
How they gonna spend YEARS after release NOT fixing the fundamental problems at all? And apparently Skydance thought the port was "good enough" for us lol. If this was "good enough" in their eyes, I'm starting to doubt their ability to deliver on Behemoth, god knows what year that is even coming out.
Thanks AJ, I was hoping for an upgrade path but no😢. I'll get it , eventually in a sale or maybe I should leave the good memories I have first time around. What a shame, they could've done the SnS with mallee haptics and combat. And I was looking forward to catching up with Haru.

Any updates to the game yet may I ask? I was one of the five that purchased it on PSVR. Such a shame it could have been beautiful. Don't think I have seen Endeavor One in your Gamecast comments section lately. Perhaps they are working hard to put things right.

Well....that blows. I was a fan of the original and was excited to see everything without vaseline on my eyeballs. On the plus side, I felt kind of bad not supporting a studio who was porting a PSVR1 game with a day one purchase ( because there are so many other games to buy right now) and now I don't have to feel guilty. Too bad.

This is likely the Quest port though. Hopefully, Sony is in the process of reorienting their software development plan to increase first party game porting to PSVR2 which doesn’t have to also be compliant with Quest development constraints.

I usually always wait for you or bryan to steer me in the right direction but as much as i loved this on psvr1 i was sure i couldn’t go wrong but i jumped the gun saw it live before i went to bed and bought it….again ughh!! I jumped in and i thought maybe i was playing a broken version of the psvr1 game 😪😪

I got my PSVR2 a few weeks after launch and its my first VR . Horizon was AMAZING....but since then, I am VERY upset that MOST games are just ones that were on PSVR1 with minimal updates. I assumed these games like this were NEW and EXCLUSIVE.....kinda bums me out.
Yeah like synapse,re village,re4 remake,gt7,pavlov,star wars,crossfire Sierra squad,hubris,red matter 2,switchback,7th guest,journey to foundation 🤷♂️.....the list goes on and on but none of these have been on psvr1 and there psvr2's best games!

That sucks to hear. Obviously devs seem to have issues optimizing for psvr2. Sony better step up their quality assurance, or all these bad releases will kill any momentum psvr2 will have

@PSVRUNDERGROUND for about 20 minutes. That was about 4 or so years ago. Hopefully, I didn't pick some stinkers. I ended up getting Song in the smoke, The Light Brigade, and Ancient Dungeon. Alongside already having RE8 and RE4, I'm just stoked to play Bulletstorm all over again. No joke. I remember it dropped like it was yesterday, haha.

Yeah, I agree. I was disappointed when I played this yesterday. It looks like a Playstation 2 game. They really F@#%'d this one up. I felt like I bought a Quest game for my Powerful gaming PC. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
