I normally publish a video about once a week (about every 7 days). My next video will be on staged leg lengthening surgery for partial weight-bearing Precice patients: Lengthen one leg until it is lengthened and consolidated enough for full weight bearing, then lengthen the other leg. I also have a website along with this UA-cam channel to help assist with concerns about leg lengthening surgery. I have arranged for details on my website. Here is the Services page where you can order accurate mockup pictures of yourself for a small fee. See for yourself what your proportions will look like after a specified limb lengthening surgery, rather than trying to guess based on some numbers. There are four types of services available on our website: 1. Consultation Call 2. Mockup Pictures 3. My Leg Lengthening Diary 4. X-ray Analysis website link: www.heightjourney.com/services/
I learned a lot from watching your video about quadriceps lengthening surgery (both femur and tibias) thanks, bro. Want more videos like this in the future.
An admirable effort and a very authentic video from an experienced patient! We would like to add a thing in terms of the maximum safe limit. Though 2 inches can be counted as the maximum height gain, the lower legs can be distracted up to 2.76 inches as a maximum safe limit as well. As long as the pain tolerance, flexibility of the muscles, and durability of the nerves are on an acceptable level.
LON patients I’ve read from unanimously say to use internal nails, if you can afford it, because the pain is that bad. If you have to do LON, it’s best just for tibias.
Yes, there are patients who have lengthened over 6cm on tibias. However, we have to see what the long term effects are for lengthening so much. Recent studies have shown arthritis and knee joint problems has been a problem in the long term for tibia lengtheners who have gone over 6cm.
I did both. The tibias were a little more painful, but still manageable like the femurs. After one month, they both went down to the same moderate pain level. But the tibias were better after one month because less physical therapy time is necessary.
Thank u for the very informative subject obsess many of us especially me , u cleared some points for me , I missed during my research Actually I wanna save My time & go for Quadrilateral & overlapping is good option even with less cm's In Separate option it takes almost 2 years to Recover well may be 3 years Could discuss ''LON" method I'm scared with Quadrilateral, Precice-2 not weight bearing So it's gonna be hard & better wait for Stryde or select "Lon" Thanks in advance
It depends on the doctor and LL clinic. In the U.S., it is usually about $70k to $100k for femurs, and $80k to $110k for tibias. Some LL doctors outside of the U.S. charge less, but they are often more risker with higher chances of bad results. It's not recommended to sacrifice safety and quality for cheaper prices. Thanks for sharing. It is very informative to take decision.
With" LON" I see patients get up to 7cm for tibias & looks great it's also recommended do tibia with ''LON"
& better feumers with internal method
Yeah, using LON for femurs seems very uncomfortable. Even patients have regretted doing that instead of internals.
LON patients I’ve read from unanimously say to use internal nails, if you can afford it, because the pain is that bad.
If you have to do LON, it’s best just for tibias.
