I missed you and am glad to see you back. I knew the loss of your mom was part of why you weren't posting on UA-cam. Many of us understand and aren't going anywhere. ❤
Thanks so much, Lynne, I can’t begin to tell you how much I missed you guys too. You have all been so kind and supportive. It brings tears to my eyes. 🙏💕🐶
I lost my head at 80 and got a Shiba puppy, but she has been both a nuisance and a blessing… keeping me more alive. Happy for the additions to your artistic life, but totally relate to the loss, the gap in your life that your mother leaves. It leaves one feeling ‘orphaned’ in a most unexpected way. It will take time, so give yourself that space when you need it. Hugs. (As a senior, I cannot afford your Patreon so am grateful you did this review.)
Sincere condolences. Please give yourself whatever amount of time, space, and grace you need to grieve properly. Don't feel compelled to force anything for the sake of youtube.
Oh, Linda. I am 60 seconds in, and I felt compelled to say I am so very sorry for your loss, and you never have to apologize to us. We will ALWAYS be here for you! Wishing you peace, my dear.
No need to apologize!! Grieving is part of the process. If you didn't you would destroy your health. As always I thoroughly enjoy your work with your sketchbooks. They are so much fun to look at. Thank you for sharing!😊❤
Your absence was noticed and you were missed - I am so sorry for your loss. Alana is a complete sweetie and I hope she helps you through this time. You are a beautiful soul, thank you for sharing your art and your goings on with us!

Im so sorry for your loss, I lost my Mum ten years ago, I understand that trauma and you need to give yourself as much time and love as you can. Your puppy is gorgeous and again I know from experience how much of a help animals can be around us when we greave. I have only recently found you and its refreshing to see a very loose approach to work, your work is at its best I think when its loose, I look forward to following you now.
So sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my mom, too. It is so very hard to lose your mom! Life doesn’t feel the same without her. Your new puppy and your art will help you get through these tough days, just as my first grandchild and my art have helped me.

No need to apologise, you did great in this video. 🥰 Im the past three months I've hardly created any art, yet I've been crocheting away, because that's all the energy I had. It takes less decision making energy for me to crochet. So glad you have beautiful memories creating with your mum 😘
Loosing family is really hard. I am glad you are creating your beautiful artwork. I love those abstract marks in the sketchbook of randomness. That artist you mentioned seems very interesting. Just putting down what he feels in the moment instead of what he actually sees. Good to see you again. Missed you. ❤

I am a,so a UA-camr artist with a chronic illness and have been disabled for many years. It is funny because I can relate to the new dog in the studio thing. My dog was into everything. He’s now over most but not all of that and now my problem is he is impatient and he wants to be in my lap with me holding him constantly. That makes it very difficult to paint!
Yeah I’m lucky to enjoy you on patreon and UA-cam. Your sketchbooks are little gems of beauty! Captures your journey through emotions of life right! Beautiful. I don’t know how you do It all. I used to be able to paint for hours but since Covid, I’ve lost so much energy and have to stop. I can’t imagine trying to keep videos going. I’m a paint party host and have to have to paint for my parties so I do have to keep going. Thanks gawd we love what we do! Thanks Linda
Thanks Gwen, I’m so grateful for your support as a patron! I really appreciate your acknowledging how much work goes into making all these videos too. Especially with the chronic fatigue/pain. It’s a passion of mine though and I love the sense of community with all of you so that makes it worth it to me. 💕🙏
So happy you are back! Your videos are so calming, inspirational, and lovely for me. They help me in ways that are indescribable. I also wanted to say I am very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you. Losing a loved one is so very hard. You are doing amazingly well. It is amazing you have the strength to do videos, but, selfishly I am very happy. I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences 🙏 Same here on my end, lost my Mom last April suddenly also. And months before she passed, my dog passed. So, my Mom told me to find myself another dog because she saw how depressed I was. I found one and my Mom paid the adoption fee for my tiny chihuahua, whom I named Presley. A month before my Mom went into the hospital, she said, "See you now have Presley so you won't feel alone"😢 Little did I know Presley was my last gift from my Mom and I will always cherish her. And yes it was work house training a puppy while grieving but Presley also saved my life. Lost 45 lbs because I had to walk her, she was chewing everything in sight! 😅 Just wanted to share and thank you for sharing. So, happy you're back!
Oh my gosh, the parallels between what you and I have gone through are so similar! After Niko died I didn’t think I’d be able to ever get another dog. My mom knew that we were picking up our rescue pup the day that she went into the hospital. She never got to meet Alana in person, but I feel like there’s a connection. I wish UA-cam allowed my viewers to post photos because I’d love to see everyone’s dogs lol. thanks so much for sharing your story with me. 🙏💕🐶

@@BeginnersMind-ArtMind I’m not on insta gram. One is 13 anthem other is 8. One mostly black and brown. The other is darker than the fawn color in yours. The 13 year old has a bit of Jack Russel in him. That dog could jump so high. He’s the smartest dog we’ve ever had. One thing to beware of is the spine. They’re king and need to be supported when lift. Plus if you can reach her to use steps to the bed couch it will help. Have fun with your sweet puppy.
@susiemejia7917 They sound absolutely adorable! She does use the steps that Don had built for our Japanese Chins to get up on the bed. We are constantly amazed at Alana’s intelligence. She’s really great at problem-solving.
Condolences and give yourself some credit- taking a break is not leaving. My fave YTers post 5-6 times a year. Sure- they don't have patreons so they don't have committments- but you come and go as you wish. You only "leave" when you delete everything. Don't let anyone make you feel like you constantly have to pump out videos to be a part of the community.
Thanks for your condolences! I have a few UA-cam friends that are leaving YT as they age out, but I’ve never heard of anyone deleting their content after they leave, that would be sad. It felt good to leave for a while and was what I needed to do. The comments have been overwhelmingly supportive, which I’m grateful for.
Absolutely! 👍🏼 I will definitely make sure she doesn’t eat any art supplies. I use nontoxic “hues” for the heavy metal heavy hitters. Still, plenty of stuff that she needs to stay away from in the studio.
Condolences. So sorry for your loss. I understand I miss my mother all the time Don’t have to apologize. I don’t what to be a Karen. I am person with a major disability ( stroke). My thing is I’m on fixed income A lot of us can’t afford patreon. Due economic conditions and art supplies. I felt for long time you don’t really appreciate your UA-cam followers. I see everything about patreon
I can’t begin to tell you how much your remark hurt my heart because I always tell my UA-cam viewers how grateful I am for them. The feedback I get from viewers is always so positive and filled with gratitude over the hard work that I put into creating these free videos. Over 85 % of my UA-cam viewers consume my FREE video content without even subscribing or clicking like so they are not even supporting all of the effort and expense that I put into my video making. Running a UA-cam channel is an incredible amount of work. I am disabled and live on a limited income. Because of the disease I have with my mast cells I have allergic reactions to a multitude of things including the food I eat, the clothes I wear, the products I use and everything in the environment around me. I am in pain all the time and struggle with crushing fatigue & depression. I am rarely able to leave my house and when I do, I tend to be sick for about a week after exposure. Since I’m no longer able to work outside of my home I created a Patreon to generate income. I charge $5 a month for my Patreon, that’s less than a cup of coffee a month for a ton of high quality video lessons that would cost hundreds of dollars if they were sold separately as classes. That helps pay for my medications and medical bills that are not covered by insurance. My Patreon income also goes towards groceries. Such a hurtful comment to read during a time of loss & grieving. Please try to have some empathy for others with disabilities that, like you, are struggling and working hard to support themselves while still trying to give of themselves to others to help make the world a better place. There are nearly 300 videos that you can watch for FREE on my UA-cam channel. That’s free content that I create every single week and give to people that can’t afford Patreon.
I missed you and am glad to see you back. I knew the loss of your mom was part of why you weren't posting on UA-cam. Many of us understand and aren't going anywhere. ❤

Cute 🐶
I have fallen so in love with her! 🐶😍
@@BeginnersMind-ArtMind Good for you! Just keep her away from the cadmiums and the cobalts, if you have any. And the nickel azos as well.
