Louise these chicken nuggets and the buffalo sauce were heaven on a plate, un-chicken-licking-believable. In fact like every recipe I have ever tried of yours, including your Colcannon Soup which I made especially for my sadly dying uncle because he wasn't able to eat any of the horrible hospital food. Fed to him from my hot food flask, it was pretty much the only thing he actually enjoyed and finished and even had more the next day, so I will be forever grateful to you for that recipe. You are a true foodie goddess, you're educational, fun and inspiring to watch, and don't even get me started on your adorable and priceless reactions at the end when you taste the food! Thank you for being amazing, both you and Geoff. What a team. x

I just made a bunch of these fresh and frozen. They are the best chicken nuggets I have ever had. I also used the breading to make onion rings and fried mushrooms. They are amazing!
Hi The Salted Pepper. The recipe booklet that came with my Ninja Foodi was very basic. Your tutorials are brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. Proper, tasty food. I love your work.
Thankyou , I just got my ninja foodie and this video extremely helped me out, the preheat with broil with basket in I didn't even know, will make this tonight
My ninja foodi is being delivered tomorrow and I’ve become obsessed with your channel! Can’t wait to try so many of your yummy looking recipes! Thank you :)
OMG! These are so easy to make & like you said they taste just like my favorite restaurant chicken nuggets! I did try the sauce, but I didn't quite nail it. I had to use a different hot sauce than you had but it was still pretty good! Sharing my experience with my instant pot aired-frier, I did pre-heat my instant pot air frier on broil for 10 minutes then canceled, then press the air frier button sprayed the basket with olive oil, place the 10 chicken nuggets in a single layer but had to put all the nuggets in all once because the way the lid lifts up on the instant pot's air frier & then sprayed the olive oil onto the nuggets then, closed the lid, made sure the temp was at 365 degrees, & set the timer to 10 minutes & after 5 minutes I turned & sprayed & they were done after 10 minutes. The first 10 nuggets were not as brown as I had hoped but I repeated this process 2 more times with 10 nuggets each time & then the next 10 was browner & then my last batch of 10 nuggets was a about the right brownness that I wanted. Although, ALL 30 nuggets were fully cooked & very tender no matter how brown I would have liked them to have been, but the brownness was more my preference. Just thought I would share that! Oh, this was my first ever trying out the air-frier of any kind because I just got my new 8 qt instant pot dual pressure cooker / air-frier. Looking forwarded to more of your amazing recipes to try out! You're an amazing, awesome, wonderful cook!
This is a very helpful video! I can easier modify the breading seasoning to suit my family! And love how you share it with your camera man. Sharing is caring ❤️
I’m definitely going to try these for my granddaughters. I like to buy free range organic chicken, but the nuggets we can buy in uk are barn chicken that never see the light of day so these will be amazing
@@TheSaltedPepper I froze them before cooking and they were fantastic! Thank you for this easy delicious recepie without the mess of deep fried oil. And it's always good to know the simples ingredient of what we eat.

Thanks louise just watched your chicken nuggets recipe just prior to bed time, now i know i must make some up for the freezer, this would be very handy, cheers.
These look great! I’m going to try them & if my husband likes the batter, I’ll use it to make chicken fried steak the same way but for a longer time. I’ve been looking for a good air fryer batter! Thank you!
UPDATE! I made these today and OMG! So freaking good. My mom loved them too! I used baking powder instead of flour and Cajun/plain pork rinds instead of regular bread crumbs to cut the carbs a bit and it came out delicious! I also made the Asian/garlic Parmesan/Buffalo sauce. So good! Thank you so much.
I made these tonight with chicken thighs. I had my work cut out for me because I accidentally got bone in skin on but they still came out wonderful and would for sure make them again (with the right cut of chicken next time). Another great recipe! Thank you
Really enjoy your videos, very helpful since Im6new to the foodie, definitely a learning curve even if you know how to cook. Just showed my daughter this too. Thank you
Louise, love your recipes and explanations. Can you tell me why you kept closing the lid between adding the nuggets? What would the negative effect be if you kept the lid opened until you have a single layer of nuggets? Not questioning your method, just trying to get a better understanding. ❤️
The longer the lid is open, the more heat escapes. I think part of getting the breading set and crispy is keeping the basket as hot as possible. Will it ruin anything if you kept it open? Probably not. I'm just funny that way! LOL
The Salted Pepper Thanks so much for replying. I follow you and your recipes all the time. Have learned so much from you. You are definitely one of the best. You and Pressure Luck are my favorites. Making your BBQ country ribs tonite.

Hi Louise, Wow do those look good. I did make the blueberry sauce in my Ninja Foodie hot and cold blender. I had told you I was going to use fresh blueberries, but my store was out of blueberries, so I had to use frozen. I let them thaw completely and like when you were making the sauce, mine wouldn't boil either. So I cancelled the program and used the smooth soup setting. The blueberries started boiling almost immediately. I let them cook for about 10 minutes, then cancelled and used the smoothie setting. It turned out perfect. I used it for a dipping sauce for chicken tenders that I made in the air fryer. The blueberry BBQ sauce is delicious. My husband really liked it too. Thank You for the recipe.

Also, my wife not a great fan of hot sauce but got a great liking on Honey & Garlic wings when visiting Ontario, what would your variation/ take be on that? Thanks. Great vid.
I started off this recipe with just a batter because that is how I wanted it and it can be done, but it is a pain to do. You basically have to freeze them after battering and then get the Foodi really hot and let them cook on the one side. It works, but just wasn't worth the trouble in my opinion. These really don't taste breaded. It would be hard for me to suggest a honey & garlic wing sauce recipe without knowing what the one your wife had tasted like.
The Salted Pepper ,… Louise thanks for your honesty & reply😂. As for Honey Garlic wing sauce, it seems a fairly staple all around Ontario seemingly. Maybe some Canadian will see this & share a good one. Thanks anyways 👍🏻

Watched a QVC ad where they were selling the Ninja XL and the woman showed where she did, I think it was four chicken breast or it may have been four chicken thighs on the top rack. Carrots on the next rack and then rice in the bottom of the XL. A whole meal at one time. These are the kind recipes I would like to learn how to do. Do you have any videos of you doing combo meals like that? I've looked on your website and some of your other videos but didn't see any.
I use spray bottles from EVO, unfortunately they have gone up in price since I bought mine. Here is my affiliate link though, so you can see the type I use. They are the best I've ever bought: amzn.to/2Hax700
It depends on if they are fully cooked or not. I have frozen these before cooking and they take the same amount of time from frozen, maybe 1-2 minutes longer, but not much.
I just got my ninja foodi I put some nuggets in and used the aorfyer setting for 15 minutes. After that it automatically switched to bake instead of switching off. Is it how it's supposed to be?
Louise, you really need to see Paris Hilton’s new cooking video. It’s like the entire Nightmare on Elm Street series rolled up into a short video. Vincent Price would be so proud.

I think it came with the coating trays, but honestly it wasn't as easy to use as I hoped.
Another great job!
Thank you!
What kind of adjustments would I need to make to use the ninja Foodi grill?
none, the air fry function on the grill works with the same settings and time.
Yummy. I can't wait to try this. Thanks.
I hope you love them!
I did these finally from frozen but used texas Pete mild buffalo already made sauce
I hope you enjoyed them!
What do you use for a spritzer? Is it just a regular spray bottle?
I use spray bottles from EVO, unfortunately they have gone up in price since I bought mine. Here is my affiliate link though, so you can see the type I use. They are the best I've ever bought: amzn.to/2Hax700
The Salted Pepper do you have to add water to the oil?
Have you tried using ghee/clarified butter in a spritzer?
I haven't, but it should work just fine.
Where do you get your oil sprayer
It's an EVO one from Amazon, but they haven't had the style I use in quite some time. Even the similar ones are out of stock now.
How long do you cook frozen nuggets in the nuggets in the ninja foote
It depends on if they are fully cooked or not. I have frozen these before cooking and they take the same amount of time from frozen, maybe 1-2 minutes longer, but not much.
Hi would it be possible to cook French fries at the same time? If so what temp do think I should use? And should fries go on top or bottom? 😁
I think it could be done, but I haven't tried it. I would put the fries on top.
Thx for the video my friend ☺
You are always welcome!
I just got my ninja foodi I put some nuggets in and used the aorfyer setting for 15 minutes. After that it automatically switched to bake instead of switching off. Is it how it's supposed to be?
I've never heard of that happening.
@@TheSaltedPepper is Der a way I can send u pictures or a video of it.
@@blessymat You can message me through The Salted Pepper on Facebook or email me at louise@thesaltedpepper.com
Louise, you really need to see Paris Hilton’s new cooking video. It’s like the entire Nightmare on Elm Street series rolled up into a short video. Vincent Price would be so proud.
LOL!
Do you cook the nuggets and then freeze them? Or freeze them uncooked?
Either way works fine. I think I froze them uncooked though.
@@TheSaltedPepper thank you! I'm wondering if you could use this batter for fried pickles? Maybe just add spices to it and obviously without the breadcrumbs
Could you freeze the cooked nuggets and then reheat them from frozen?
Yep!
@@TheSaltedPepper Excellent 👍🏽. Thank you!
