Get creative and modify the shape or dimensions to fit your patio or deck. Bice chose Oak and Padauk wood for the lounge shown here, but you can choose the wood or materials perfect for your environment or space. Though this may not be a project for a true beginner, building a chair like this is well within the grasp of most woodworkers. This is a great build, however I am not even sure why Woodcraft is showing us this without any true build plans and just a simple drawing of the side portion of the chair. Would have been nice to see a full write up for this along with materials list and cut list. I understand that most can make the slats whatever length they wish, but again a full story on the build would be great.
Not everything has to be an in depth how to. We thought people would appreciate a little inspiration.

Is this chaise lounge meant to rock?
Would be very kind if you could convert the DFX file to a PDF for those of us without CAD Software or a CNC. I would love to build this but the current format cannot be converted to view. I did try by following the instructions found via google search but that won't work due to the original format of the DFX file. Much Appreciated, Thank You!!
Hello, on the same page next to the .DXF file you can find a .PDF file with grid and measurements.
You can print out a PDF file in actual size. It takes about 50 sheets of paper to do this one.
It's chaise longue, not lounge.
