The very first time MARC #71 leads a revenue train after a new rebuild, pulling MARC passenger train P877 westbound through Point of Rocks station in Maryland. Notice its Nathan P5 airhorn! Why did Marc Rebuilt the EMD GP39-2 Diesel Locomotivez #70 #71 #72 #73 #74 and #75? And what type of Air Horn and Bells do these MARC EMD Gp39-2 Diesel Locomotives use?

They rebuilt them because they were old but still good dependable engines and a lot cheaper nd quicker than buying brand new ones. They have P5 horns and I think an ebell.

Crisp job rebuilding the GP39 with a crisp P5 I am not happy with the E bell replacing the steel bell thats the only downside.
