Yes, these tools are the best. I haven’t bought anything from them in a year. I just checked their website, and they have really expanded their product offerings. Very nice.
I am thinking of dipping my toes into candle making. I love watching your informative videos. I would say use each color to categorize them and keep everything organized.
I like this company because they make these centering devices for wooden wicks! I struggle with getting my wood wicks center in the jelly jars and this helps out so much!!
I will be making candles soon and have loved your videos that I can understand and which will help me prosper. Although I don't plan on becoming a business because I am 71 years old, I am going to proceed with a business mentality. I am definately going to get this product! Thanks for all the wonderful videos you see and the super explanation about the products and how to use them, as well as pro's and con's in a lot of your videos. . I can't wait to get started, but like your beginner video I am taking it slow ~ watching your videos and rewatching.
I have these too. They are fantastic and Alyssa is a sweetheart. I choose one color for each jar type---that way I don't have to think too hard about which clear plastic bag to grab when I need to wick my jars (I store mine in big, clear plastic bags).
I emailed them a couple months back when you me tinned them before. I'm from Canada so I am not familiar with the American suppliers or their jars. They asked me to send them the link the the jars and tins I use, and they let me know that my vessels were the same size as ones from an American supplier. They sent me the links to the correct wick setters for each of my vessels. And they were super nice and friendly about it. I haven't ordered yet because shipping costs and duties hit hard for Canadians. But I will definitely be ordering some soon.
These are the best! Ordered them a few weeks ago and found that they did fit perfectly and do a great job. Thanks for the recommendation! I let them know that they found them through Wade.
These are amazing! I saw these on your last video about them and I decided to give them a try. OMG. They are so easy and fit so perfectly on my jars! Thank you Wade for recommending them!
I've been using these for months now. I love them. Very practical for short vessels. I only bought in black cause I love black. They have the vessel name on them anyway so it's not hard to know what goes where.
Thank you so much for making this video. I just switched to new jars and the wick holders I had before do not work with them. I plan to buy their kit that comes with a wick setter and 12 wick holders.
The wick holders are fantastic. I do, however, need to order custom setters. I use the round, low profile metal wood wick clips, and they don’t fit down the tube of the setter and I have to hold them in place from the top with tension. It actually slows me down, so I need to place a new custom order. Their Customer Service is AMAZING and they are incredibly friendly and responsive. Won't use anyone else from here on out...and yes, I geeked out seeing my own name customized on the setters! Love it!
I can attest to how cool these are! I did their vessel trade in program to get custom fits for my candle science tins, it was fast and easy, and they fit beautifully!!
I ordered them the last time you mentioned them. I'm freaking obsessed now! I plan to order different colors by size I need. I'm undecided what I want engraved on them, if anything.
Suuuuper helpful! Lol I had no clue what wick placing tools were for but it makes sense now! I'm ordering some now, they'll save so much time and frustration!
Have been using them for a few weeks now after seeing you use them on some videos. Coming from the easy wick setter, that one had too much play and never seemed to fit the jars snug. These are a gamechanger for sure. Ease of use, consistency and cost make them a no brainer purchase and likely one of the only things I can safely say I don't have to worry about functioning properly when making candles.
Absolutely agree! Way more consistent and accurate. There is something to be said for a single tool that can fit multiple jars. But it doesn't fit super well like these do!
@@BlackTieBarn for sure. I'm glad to have the ez wick one for any odd vessels I try but if that vessels a keeper I'll be sure to get the Nordens for continued use.

Can you say #GameChanger!!! Thank you once again, Wade! You are always keeping me in the know to make the best possible products for my clients, friends, and family. Used the link and placed my order right after watching the video.
Got some after watching this video, but ran into an issue. I normally use foil pans to slow the cooling process on my 6006 to prevent massive sink holes, but using these in foil pans causes them to shrink and become impossible to remove from the jar. I contacted the company and they confirmed, no preheating the jars and no using foil pans. I now am back to massive sink holes and double pours, is there any other way I can prevent these massive sink holes without using these two methods. Guess I might switch to problend 600, but have done all my work and testing with 6006.

Is there a video on what you use to pour your wax. I've hit my wick holder with wax during my pouring process. It's ready to clean up, but it's time-consuming.
If hand pouring I put them on after. Much easier. Less/no mess. If using my pumper for very large batching it's a small nozzle and I put then on before or after. doesn't matter in that case.
Last time I used my wick centering tool after I poured the wax, the wick sticker/wick came off the bottom of the jar. But I will try it again if it's easier. I'm going to try the Norden products though to see if that helps me. I'm actually blind in 1 eye, so hitting dead center is hard for me so that's another reason I'm going to try the products.
Will depend on your wax more than anything. I buy my wicks from several places as I use several kinds based on the wax and jar in using if that makes sense. Your best bet is search based off your wax. Others here as well as ok my FB group can really assist with that info
I clicked on the link for this Co. And I have a case of 8 and 9 oz candles purchased from Amazon. Only issue is when you tic the appropriate box, candle wick and Colour; there's No Size or description ie "Diameter". Soooo not sure how I feel about making a "Blind Purchase" 🤔 Ps. Would love to try these
They are sold by specific jar. So you choose the supplier and the jar and the clips for those. They are very popular and nothing but good feedback. 😉 you can also message them to confirm if you are worried about a specific product. Alyssa is awesome

@Sheri T oh I see. Sorry didn't see that they were from Amazon. Yah that will be tougher to nail down as amazon isn't necessarily a specific or consistent supplier of candle jars. It would be harder for them to design around Amazon since they sell so much stuff. You may just send them a link to the product and ask. :)
It really is cool what you can do with 3D printing. Whoever did the design work did an absolutely fantastic job, both in terms of function and ease of printing/customizing. Very reasonable pricing, too. I would advise you, though, that if they are saying that they are using a biodegradable plant based plastic, that would mean the products are made from PLA. PLA is great stuff and a staple of the 3D printing world, but anyone that tries to tell you that it is in any way green is either lying to you or doesn't know what they are talking about. If you want to know more, the info regarding its sustainability and degradability is widely available online from a legion of reputable sources.

I have bought a huge box of the soy c3 but I’m getting better. I finally found the sweet spot on the pour temp. Now I just need to get the wicks right. Thank you for all of your content!
You get the ones specific to your jars. They aren't a single size for everything. So if you go to their site, and search for vendor or size. I'm sure they have them though
@@BlackTieBarn ok thanks and another question is when I print t out my labels and peel them off there is still a little bit of white or black sk how do I change that
@@ItsJessie915 you'll need to just keep tweaking your design and alignment on your printer. Not something I can really help with from here obviously so it's just something you have to keep tweaking. Printer alignment is never fun. Lol
@@ItsJessie915 I can't help with that. It's specific to your printer, labels, and any label program you might be using. This isn't something I can help with directly from here. Not the cheapest but the difference in quality is noticeable. They are pretty in line with many of the wick tools being made these days to be honest. But as far as bulk.... you can get price breaks on bulk of you contact them. Maybe try them out first of you want and then reach out for bulk pricing.

I have bought a huge box of the soy c3 but I’m getting better. I finally found the sweet spot on the pour temp. Now I just need to get the wicks right. Thank you for all of your content!
Can I email you? I have questions like, where do i buy fragrance, wicks, and wax. What do you recommend starting out. Im all in
So I bought 9oz jelly jars from Amazon would these work
You get the ones specific to your jars.
Lol
@@BlackTieBarn what should it be aligned too
@@ItsJessie915 I can't help with that. It's specific to your printer, labels, and any label program you might be using. This isn't something I can help with directly from here. Follow the label instructions and your print instructions. They should give some guide on how to print labels. Just experiment with tweaking your design to it prints correctly.
I just have to figure out what jar I like before I order. 🤔
How do you order please?
Their website. Nordencandlesupply.com I believe. Also in the description of this video. :)
I would use different colors for different scents, for example. So I don't have to write the name of the scents... Just a thought.
👍
I would pick colors base of my brand colors.
Thanks Don!
I have these on my wish list!!
For sure!
Love the video I’m going to try these. But funny note did you drink coffee before this video? 😂😂😂 you have so much energy you need to bottle that and send some my way.
🤣🤣😆 honestly, I just happened to sleep for once before I recorded. Lol
interesting. They look 3d printed. I will check them out!
They are great quality... however they are made.
I don’t see wood wicks centering tools 😢
They are there. Just choose your vessel as you normally would then there is option for what type of wick and wize on that vessel product page. I use their woodwick ones all the time. :)
Would like to order
Yes
How to buy the right size
Sold!
❤️
Nice
❤️
Unfortunate these are not for sale in my country :(
Ahh bummer!
My wife and I make goats milk soap and we wrap them in tissue paper and my wife picks the color what she thinks match’s the sent maybe get colors that match the different sent’s you use
Thanks Dennis. Problem is... they don't have 1000 colors. 🤣 lol. But in all seriousness. I'll probably use different color for different jars for now. :)
I would love to buy one if this wick setter.
For sure!
The wick holders seem awesome, but $35 for 12 seems a bit steep, especially if you want a bunch of them.
Not the cheapest but the difference in quality is noticeable. They are pretty in line with many of the wick tools being made these days to be honest. But as far as bulk.... you can get price breaks on bulk of you contact them. Maybe try them out first of you want and then reach out for bulk pricing.
@@BlackTieBarn Yeah, definitely gonna order some. I'm not at a point to be ordering them in bulk quite yet lol.
I am a blue lover so I will pick blue first..lol
Yah those blue ones are gorgeous
@@BlackTieBarn yep ...sad that I can't have the joy off useing it as shopping an shipping to Trinidad and Tobago are way way high
pro-tip do not try to heat gun wax off of these lol learned that the hard way
Lol. Well you CAAAN just low heat and slowly from far away. Lol. But, no seriously, I don't use heat guns on any wick clips. Lol
