The navara is a nice all rounder. From what I can see is midrange torque compared to the to its competitors which have alot more low range torque. But I will say ranger is by far superior technologically and overall luxury and off-road capabilities. Coming from a person that loves the Hilux. Great review BTW 🙌🏼💯
Awesome thanks a Mil for the comment really appreciate it a Lot. I 100% agree with you on the Ranger though, it feels like the Navara is the in between bakkie like an Audi to Merc and BMW the one you buy if you not too sure. The Ranger is top class though and the Hilux is rough and tough I would say.
This is gorgeous, I am waiting for mine to be delivered as we speak! Not much to complain about but I do feel Nissan South Africa played us short with the 360° camera. The ST-X and Calibre (Aussie and Thai versions) get the cameras and the dash setup. That should be standard on any of their 4x4 range. ST-X Also gets drive mode select. Also, what the heck happened to the in dash cup-holders?? Calibre still has tray and 12v socket as well as cupholders on dash. That's robbery! Adaptive cruise control isn't even available on pro4x either. Other than that, zero complaints.
Damn that is a daylight robbery hey? Did not know that, thanks a Mil for the feedback on that, I really appreciate it. But yeah what a Bakkie I have to say, even with the SA version I am happy with what you get. Wonder if it is a cost thing?
The only thing that I think people will deduct points on this bakkie is the infotainment screen - it is outdated yes, and the resolution on the reverse cam is quite low, but I know for sure (experience) one would be able to live with it.
That is sooo very true, it feels like the early 2000's the infotainment hey? But its all you need at the end of the day, very basic bakkie i must say, but one of the best
@@JustinOnCars wow! Thank you. I am expecting one soon. I looked up but couldn't really find any reviews. This is a comprehensive review. Thank you once again
@@LyraqzX I know it doesn't use cvt. But my car had the cvt failure and Nissan's attitude once the failure happened was terrible. They don't have spares for repair, and cannot even consider the complaint as a manufacturing defect. Slammed me with a bill more than the value of the car. I had to scrap the car. So, it speaks a lot about the brand. Even if it doesn't have CVT. I'm scared to buy a product ever again from Nissan.
Honestly I like the old infotainment I honestly prefer buttons and not a fan of the huge screen. I like this bakkie.
Yeah I also reckon they said you know its a bakkie, less things to break and give issues.
A solid good big boy in the Nissan Navara, I know that from experience, we have the PRO 2X, and it's impressive I must say.
Hahaha thanks Man. Joh the Pro is leka, has everything you need and extra. Thanks a mil for the comment and also the Navara is a beautiful bakkie.

Navara é foda, deixa frontier mesmo
I 100% agree with you on that my friend
Imagina esse nome aqui no Brasil....🤣

Do they have a different engine in South Africa, we get a 2.3L in Australia, we don't get the 12v tray socket here either,
Hhmm very weird how they spec different markets hey? We only get the 2.5 here in SA. What's the power on the 2.3?
Exact same power but 2.3l twin turbo. I know because i just bought one 😂@@JustinOnCars

Nissan scares me, the CVT failures in my car scares me.
I'm too scared to buy a Nissan ever again.
sorry to hear that but they don't use CVT in their SUV/pickup.
Hey thanks for the comment, like LyraqzX said don't use CVT
