I like how Black re-arranged this track. You can still hear the motif of the original TW1 version, but Black had certanly more sinister interpretation. Wish it played when you fight Minion, though.

damn right. in TM1, when you blow up an enemy, they would roll onto their side (or spin wildly in place) and flames would be superimposed over the car. That's just one of the flaws, but great game and soundtrack overall.

Yeah, but I had more of a preference to TM (I call myself a junkie lol). Vigilante 8 was addictive somehow, but it got old. I became more of a fan of TM when 3 and 4 came out. When I played those games, I realized that TM had the best graphics of the late 90s that I have ever seen in a video game. I never really cared for the s**tty storyline of TM3, but I have a lot of fun playing TM. The only TM games I own are TM Head On ETE and TM2.

The whole premise of this game is quite Eerie Calypso makes tournament were people battle in their cars with machine guns and missiles. After the first round in Calypso's Arena the whole contest spills out on the cold... Christmas Eve streets of L.A killing hundreds of Innocents in the process. Twisted Metal has an eerie tone to it that no other video game has ever surpassed in my opinion.

He falls down but he doesn't die usually. He takes damage. In fact he only does from falling if he has low health.
