One of the better final boss themes. Typically don't like the darker sounding boss themes but Twisted Metal Black is an exception as I think they pulled the whole dark atmosphere thing very well with the game.
to me i just hide for a bit then try to destory the tanks and let destory it to damage warhawk and i think i was junkyard dog cuase his specials is just throwing a ball or bomb idk its been years
@@meloman-rrr I’ve killed minion a lot of times with different vehicles on hard difficulty without dying. I can’t say the same about Warhawk. It’s way easier to dodge Minion’s attacks, as for the panels, yes they’re a pain in the ass, but you just need to be patient. On the other hand, in Warhawk’s rooftop you can take cover but still, that guy will find a way to get past your cover, also there’s the risk of falling, besides those tanks sometimes freeze you and you need to fight the tanks and Warhawk at the same time. The tanks die very easily, I’ll give you that. The problem is when they are far away from Warhawk so you can’t damage his shield, also there will be some times when the stupid tanks fall and you have to wait for another one to come. Minion rarely attacks you if you’re far away. The only thing that’s hard about Minion is hitting the back panel, you’ll die a lot against him if you aren’t patient of course. Well, at least minion is easier for me, but I understand why people say Minion is harder.
I'm so torn between which was more badass: -The dreadful, orchestrated Rooftops from TM1, -the HEAVY heavy metal Dark Tooth theme from TM2, -the heavy metal mixed with a chilling organ and choir that makes up Vampire's Teeth from Head-On, -heavy and heart-wrenching orchestrated Minions Stadium from Black, -or the eagle screeching mixed with a chilling, tragedy-themed orchestra that's this one.
What I like about all of them is that it gives a nightmarish vibe not just for the players, but making it look like that all the competitors are trapped in some kind of a bad dream that they could never escape

Twisted Metal: Small Brawl is an odd outlier as far as I can tell and Twisted Metal (PS3) is likely based in the reality that Markus Kane physically inhabits. (Excluding Twisted Metal: Lost as that is an unfinished game.)

Use em' while Warhawk's stationary. -Warhawk doesn't have too much HP. -Some character's specials could home in or shoots trajectories. Have fun, Grimm & Darkside mains.
If you're willing to play with some chance, if Warhawk grabs you as Grimm, you can actually land a special straight on, it does a ton of damage to him.

I've tried beating Story Mode on Hard Mode without Dying. I've made it all the way to Warhawk using Spectre and Shadow, and both times I ended up getting obliterated before I can deal any real damage to him. Those endless barrage of missiles...

I love this song! One of the things I don't really see anyone else talking about is the character expressed through this song's beat and arrangement. I know that Twisted Metal Black doesn't really have "characters" in the official sense, but to me, Warhawk represents not only what Sweet Tooth sees as his problems and challenges coming back to haunt him, but also the rawest, most brutal form of law enforcement and order. Everyone likes to punch up at authority, both in fiction and outside of it but Warhawk, to me, represents what law enforcement is at its most primal, when every chance has been exhausted, every order ignored, and every opportunity to surrender is thrown away: undiluted, raw angry power sent to crush you like a bug under a gavel. No courts, no due process, no discussions about civil rights and no appeals. You turned the city of Midtown into an apocalyptic wasteland, with no sense of safety, pure chaos and anarchy. Now, this monster has been unleashed by the establishment that you spurned so many times to remind you that despite your flashy car and fancy technology and burning desire to win, to Midtown PD, you're just another street rat, another punk who never learned to respect authority, to be thrown away and turned into a bloodstained flaming pile of slag. To Warhawk, and its allies, you're nothing but a Mad Max wannabe driving a souped-up tin can. The screams at 0:55-57 almost feels like a war cry or a screech from a hunting falcon, and when the song builds and releases tension at 1:07-1:24 and again and again through the beat, it feels less like missiles being fired or bullets flying, but more like a judgement from something greater: You have disrespected the law for the last time. You f-cked around, now you will die. Just get the hell out of the way, so we can crush your car into a block and scrape what's left of your corpse off the asphalt. Know your place; underneath us. Warhawk is not a weapon; it's a gavel, and you have been sentenced to death via firing squad. Gives me chills to hear it, even now, and it fills me with a sense of grim satisfaction whenever I manage to knock Warhawk out of the sky. Thanks for reading my very long comment! Have a great day!
Tbh I wish warhawks helicopter would be added to gta online. It's a unique looking helicopter and really looks badass especially the pilot with the metriod looking suit.

Do not, under any circumstances, let yourself get caught in it's grill because it can push you off the stage and does a ton of damage besides.
Playing it with darkside it's an absolute pain, however he only took one of my lifes with it
I'd use darksides special just to dive to cover and shove the tankers when worst came to worst. Its mostly just extra turbo though

Warhawk was Supposed To Be Playable but he was so Powerful that he went from being Playable To becoming the Final Boss
And then they made Talon in Twisted Metal for the PS3.... who is tie between a bothersome fly or a legitimate threat depending on the player.
