A lot of people think the peace dollar is a sleeping beast. That it may be on the verge of being valued higher. Now, common dates and culls not so much. But think about it. If enough collectors wanted even the common dates, they'd be fairly tough to find. I guess time will tell. I'm certainly interested in building a collection myself in at least High XF - High AU. Personally, I'm a bigger fan of the Peace/Morgan dollars than I am of the Silver eagles. I love historical coins 😁
I love Peace Dollars and the history behind them. However a 1099-B requires me to prove cost basis and that's something I, and a lot of other people, can't do. If I ever had a thousand or more Peace dollars I'd sell them in smaller groups. Thanks, guys!
Thanks Brian. Good info. I gave your name and website to a few individuals at VRIC over the weekend. You are by far the best LCS dealer in America. Fastest delivery around. Coming from a UPS employee. We know logistics. 😀
Awesome question he had and great info to be aware of. Im definitely interested in the flash sale so hope I'm available at the time to see when it takes place. Thanks for the education.
What about error coins? I purchased a Morgan for $50.00 and discovered a flaw on the reverse, where the one quiver on the end of the arrow bundle that is supposed to be off center is parallel to the other quivers and bears the “s” mint mark? Does this error effect the value?
Question: wouldnt be an advantage to buy Peace dollars and Morgan, because they dont Milk spot? If you buy silver eagles, Can they not drop in value rather quickly because they develope milk spots? whereas peace dollars and Morgans, if you keep them correctly will maintain their value
I am not a CPA, but I do believe regardless of whether or not a 1099 is on the table, you are still required to report any profit/loss on the sale of pretty much anything including coins. The sales are either capital gains or losses (long-term or short-term). If your Ebay sales (or other venues) now exceed $600 in a calendar year, you will be getting a 1099-K for reporting to the IRS. It used to be $20,000 to trigger a 1099--not anymore. Those of you more astute in tax preparation, please enlighten me if I am incorrect. You will be helping me out for my 2023 taxes.
Why would anyone sell 1,000 just sell 999 so i dont see how 1099B would be a problem In NJ theres a 10% tax if you buy a home 1 million or more. my brother just bought one for 1.1 he gave the seller 150k under the table and the house sold for 950k politicians are dumb
Which do you prefer, and why?
Both lol I’m greedy😂😂

Peace dollars hands down. Because they are an amazing design and have a great history.
Peace dollars, because there better history behind it. I never wonder who held a eagle. But I always wonder who held a silver dollar.
Subscribed. Peace dollars all the way.
I had a dream last night and there was a voice in my head that kept saying "Cash...Wire...Zelle" LOL Love the videos
Love it
Peace dollars
Nice job 😊😊😊

Yeah, sell 500 on Monday and 500 on Tuesday

As a long term physical buyer, meaning 20+ years, you should never worry about premiums.
If you are a short term buyer, just get paper metal.
Thanks for the update Brian and Tim, look forward to the flash sale. Be sure to let us know if there is any movement in premiums.
Sweet
Great video. I love the quick educational videos.

when silver gets to a certain dollar amount it wont matter it will all be going to the refineries and be melted
@@vermillionenterprises When that day comes are you suggesting that you will pay the same amount for a milk spot eagle as you would for a BU eagle?
Brian, please make more videos about coins! I love the crossover of bullion and coins.
Thank you...coins are like sports cards they are fun, but do not keep the lights on like bullion products do
@Vermillion Enterprises Isn't that the truth lol
Wow, late video for you guys.
Thanks a bunch ❤ Colorado Silverback777 Stay Healthy keep stacking.
Thank you and you as well
If you bought 100 real Morgan dollars and forgot about them for 20 years, you would have a small fortune.

true!
in case you did not know
CASH
WIRE and
ZELLE.
Morgan and peace dollars are so old I was just touching them with my bare hands. Is that OK or should I use gloves like you doing?
its ok if they are circulated...probably do not want to with true BU coins

I buy the cheapest one since thgeir both the same weight and value, the design, origin doesnt matter at all to me
what do you think is going on today?
lot of money moving that is for sure
Eagles for the purity, but peace and Morgans for the history and they're not making anymore.
shops around me aren't paying anything but melt for morgans and peace dollars
sorry to hear that, be happy to help if we can
Lol, really dumb comment!
Brian, is that a David Maas wildlife art print behind you on the wall to your left? If so what year?
no....it likes "Derk"
Peace dollars are my favorite because they are more beautiful thank the Morgans.
agree
Looks like I missed the flash sale. Low premiums are the key, but agree that ASEs are the most recognizable and liquid option.
Me too!
90% they haven't made it since 1964
That is far from the truth, the statehood proof quarters and ATB proof quarters are 90%
90% silver is not part of the 1099B requirement and peace and morgan fall in that.
not accurate
@@vermillionenterprises I have shipped two bags at a time and never once received a 1099 from apmex or c&b either one can name more
Nonsense, Peace Dollars will have history being a 100years old!
Doesn't Siler Eagle have more silver in ithan a peace dollar
yes
Yeah but silver dollars have history!
Eagles. I hate peace dollar design kinda actually. Atleast compared to Morgan’s and eagles. Don’t collect them at all.
lol
