Yes I'm glad you're back and and I enjoyed some of the books that you said you read I'm going to try to get some of them because I love to read as well and I love your recommendation thank you so much your friend ellabransford.
Thanks for sharing. I just finished reading Ten Thousand Doors. I think it's funny that you're sort of siding with the villain. I like the point that you make about the reveal of Locke being the villain. The revelation that he was the bad guy was given piecemeal so that when you get the full story, it's not as shocking as it would have been if we thought he was a good guy the whole time.
I was thinking about reading Little Women but decided to watch the movie first. I was so excited but I actually didn't like it. (I know, what's wrong with me) :) So I think I won't be reading the book either. The behind the scenes book you're showing is so pretty! :) Also, All the light we cannot see has such a beautiful cover! :o Lovely video.
I recently found your channel and enjoy your reviews and suggestions about books. I have a long list of to-read now. lol stay safe during this pandemic and post videos when you want to, no pressure
i have been meaning to read all the light we cannot see for soooo long!! especially after i loved the nightingale, so thank u for reminding me hahaha!!
I’m so happy you loved All the Light We Cannot See!! It’s one of my favorite books of all time. His writing is so beautiful 😍 I cried for the last 100 pages.
8:03 "there's probably not a lot of people left in the world who haven't read this book" I have this book since 2015 and haven't read it yet, and i felt personally attacked
Welcome back! I missed you. I agree with you on All the Light We Cannot See. If you feel like doing a full review of it, that'd be a great video to watch. Sorry about your gym but I'm glad you're safe and doing well.
Missed your gorgeous face! 🥰 I get in moods where I work out ALL THE TIME & then other times I have 0 motivation. Where did you get your necklace? I love it! ♥️ That Little Women book looks amazing!!! I’ll have to check it out! Anthony Downer. 😂 Still need to read that one! I LOVED A CURSE SO DARK & LONELY. It’s extremely slow in the beginning, but hang on it gets so good! You should watch our live show discussion on Kalyn Abridged’s channel for 10 Thousand Doors of January. There’s so many hidden meanings in that book that I didn’t realize. 🤯
Thank you for always putting so much thought in your comments, Liv! You're the best :) The necklace I'm wearing is actually part of a set from World Market! They were cheap so the gold has kinda turned to copper, but I don't really mind when that happens :P And I will watch it! I definitely probably missed some key things by skimming the ending, but I'd rather just hear how it played out than read it anyway! Lol
If you read 10 comics that took half an hour each to read then it would still count towards the amount you read. It's YOUR challenge, if you're reading something then it counts. If anyone says differently then personally I'd be using a two word phrase and the second would be "off".
Glad you're back!! I love your shirt by the way! 😄😄 I've been in an infinite book slump and I don't know how to get out of it haha! I've been wanting to read all the light we cannot see but i feel like it will destroy me and I'm not ready😅
I had put down All The Light We Cannot See but now I’m going start reading right after I finish The Giver Of Stars! Speaking of the gym, I miss mine so much and my spin classes 😭😫
I loved the Little Women Companion Book! Behind the scenes on stuff is what I live for and loved what the book offered! And of course I adored the film!
You can include any books in your annual total, even a movie companion! It's up to you! I just read a Calvin and Hobbes comic book because I needed something light and happy, and I'm including that in my total. Stay safe! Thanks for the video!
I have, a few times, and I do love that one, but something about this new one really captured the spirit of Jo "the writer" for me & man, it resonates so deeply with me! I've never felt that with the Winona Ryder one, but I do love watching Christian Bale as Laurie! He's so charming :)
@@MackenzieLane Yeah, I get what you mean about Jo being more fleshed out as a writer in the newer one. And ugh, loved the Laurie and Fredrich actors from the Winona version
hi mackenzie! welcome back! I love the verse in the description box :) I also wanted to recommend the book “Where the Forest Meets the Stars”. It’s one of my favorite books of all time and I think you’d really enjoy it.
Welcome back!! You have been missed! All The Light We Cannot See absolutely wrecked me.. especially Werner story it broke my heart 💔 And I totally understand what you mean regarding Jude and Cardan relationship lol 😂 I hope you get out of your slump !
Zara M Thank you, I’ve missed interacting with my subs!! I’m easing out of the slump & the OWLs readathon starts April 1st so I’m hoping that gets me back on track! 🤞🏼
Fine moment to pick up your reading. You might reach 50 books for 2020 challenge ☺. My country has closed borders so bookdepository suspended deliveries. Hope the poll for may-june pick includes books i already have or read. It's uncertain when borders will be opem again. Bookdepository cancelled and refunded all my pre-orders from March to June included
Oh no, that’s terrible! Just when you need books the most to keep your mind occupied! What are some of the books you currently own that are at the top of your TBR?
@@MackenzieLane i own: Skyward, The priory of the Orange tree, The Swallows, Spinning Silver, Conviction, The two lives of Lydia Bird, Things in Jars, Bunny, A good girl's guide to murder, the bromance book club, the lost girls of Paris, Wild at heart (The simple wild #2), the invited, American royals, The vanishing deep, Regretting you by Colleen Hoover, Middlegame, The Beautiful. Those are the newest in release date i was able to purchase before the lockdown
I have no way to buy books. Even the only local bookstore chain here in Argentina that sells books in English is closed. All the stores are close because of the quarantine. We're isolated from the planet 😫
I'm surprised that you haven't read The Hand On The Wall! I went into this video expecting it to one of the books. I have it checked out of the library was I have been avoiding reading it cause I'm nervous to see how it all ends
so sad you are there is so much spoiler in this video 😢 i wanted to watch the hole thing but could because half way throught i was already spoiled 2 times...
Yes I'm glad you're back and and I enjoyed some of the books that you said you read I'm going to try to get some of them because I love to read as well and I love your recommendation thank you so much your friend ellabransford.

What?! Thank you!! 🥰
I watch you from Brazil!!!
So crazy! Hope you're doing good :)

Both of those things are so very true

Cape Codder Thank you! Hope you’re staying safe as well 😊
@@MackenzieLaneThanks. I am. I'm lucky enough to be able to work from home so I'm avoiding people.

Ahhh missed your videos! And I loved the cruel prince series, read it bc of you! Read all 3 books within 5 days!
It’s a binge-able series for sure! But the wait between book 2 and 3 was TORTURE after that cliff-hanger 🤪

YES spin class! I miss it so much :(

Thank you! I’m a general germaphobe anyway, so I’ve been doubling down on my hand washing & sanitizing!! 😷
have you seen the winona ryder version of "little women?" i liked this new version but think i preferred the winona version.

Welcome back!!!!
Can you do a reading journal flip through?
Maybe! I’m not sure if I have the proper equipment to do so, but I’ll try my best!
Long time no see!!!!
I didn't find The Ten Thousand Doors of January predictably good, and really overwhelming too. I think it's a bit overhyped!
Agreed
