@@agustinpuente6383 We both know gen 3 can hit 1000whp , but it won't survive long at that power.. I've been at 800whp on my whippled 5.0 for the past 15k miles, but I'm currently building a short block to run 1000+ and not worry about it.
Michael Malloy I know it won’t but the Meir fact that it can do it even for a while is great for a unopened motor. One can spend 30k on a new base coyote is beyond unbelievable and amazing. And people still doubt these motors and say Ls/Lts are far superior when times have changed dramatically in the hp world
Fran is hilarious. His comment at 21:33 had me laughing so hard. As many cars as these guys work on. Fran hears one start up and it still catches his attention.
On the flashing with the pedal commander installed. The communication lines get interrupted. GM shared a story in one of their dealer training monthly videos about a 2019 new body truck that they sent a field engineer out to look at. Customer had it lifted and larger tires. The tech working on it tried to reprogram the TCM and it kept dropping out and not working properly. The tech started to throw parts at it per GM TAC, and that led to them sending the engineer. The in-line Hypertech speedo calibrator was causing an entire pulldown on the data communication lines. Nothing would re-program correctly, and all the replacement parts the tech threw at it wouldn't program either. Hypertech has you install it behind the IPC, which nobody would even notice it.
I put the 2650 on my 18 and i love it. stock otherwise made 555 through the 8 speed. Planning on doing LT4 fuel system so i can run e85 and 103 throttle body.
Love watching the incredible motivation man thanks. I have an 05 Chevy Avalanche stopped running back water getting into the fuel tank. But after cleaning the fuel system . Still not starting again and I need to find a way to test pcm and have get the pcm retuned kill to find out how much. Shot kill for better aftermarket retune the only aftermarket part now is a cheapo aftermarket cold air intake.
I priced it out and as much as it costs to get a 2019 Camaro SS with the 1LE package (to have magride and all) then add procharger on top of it that would get me stock ZL1 numbers. I think it may be better to but a used ZL1 and get the stronger engine, magride, looks from the aero and stronger A10.
That torque curve on the orange camaro gained a bunch all over. Should plot the differences and show 10ish percent peak to peak isn’t the same when the tuneup is off. Shifting the peak number that far ahead is gonna make it a completely different car
As many cars as you guys have done; Do y’all have a preference in power and the way it kicks on. I.e N/A , Centrifugal blowers, positive displacement blowers?
They may only have two techs but those boys kick some f’n week out! I’m sure he feels confident in everything they do! There is something to say about not having to worry if something is done right or not. I would take less money to not worry!
Not bad. I have a 5th gen, stayed away from the automatic due to the stupid DOD having L99. 3,742 lb's with a full tank of crappy 91 octane (it's all I have access too) on a calibrated scale. Without me in it. Stupid internet said 3,860. Makes me wonder how accurate the auto makers are on curb weight.
Pedal commanders are trash. Up a few parameters on HPT and bests. I see you guys use air flow meter. Many told me to run MAP. My personal opinion it likes both unless boosted. If you’re comprehensive and synch timing fuel trim and knock great results. Keep a notebook with my findings. Picky with who I bless with my knowledge. Stay watching you guys to exercise my thoughts,
I do remember those pedal commander things are meant to open the throttle plates more so that there is more air than needed, meant for cruising. Works best for quick changes in throttle (gas pedal changes), I have heard it increases throttle response on roll racing by a lot as the engine doesn't need to wait for air intake, which of course is not much time to begin with.
My GTO has headers and catless mids with SLP LM2 and it's pretty damn loud..I wanna say it would be a pretty noticeable difference, without a decibel meter can't really say exactly.
ExtinctLS1GTO ok because right now I have ARH long tubes with catted x pipe but it’s not loud enough for me! I just ordered cat less hoping it’s definitely noticeable ( c7 vette )
@@RelentlessDH yeah it'll get a lot louder depending on what mufflers you got..my SLPs are just a bullet muffler so it doesn't get quieted down much lmao

Lmao LT motors are a joke with boost, in runing 11 pounds on my whipple 5.0 and made 740wheel on 93 😂
Agustin Puente congrats ? U realize the lt4 and lt5 can go pass 1000whp stock
Derek Hays lmao the LT4 that comes in Zl1 or Zo6 lol, my stock gen3 coyote can hit 1k wheel without being opened also 😅

Ya I don’t understand that. They go out and buy a brand new SS just to throw a shit ton of money at it when they could’ve had a ZL1 for the money
Interior quality improves every year. Body style changes. It's all personal preference.
