Feels like everyone is sleeping on the Gibbering Reject. The kind of deck that would run it would almost certainly have a board presence and most likely a weapon equipped before turn 4, which means this wouldn't go onto the board cold or undefended. Your opponent then has to clear both of them that turn or you're going to see at least one more 3/3. Then it's got a double utility of swarm potential or continued replenishing board control. At worst it's a 5 mana 6/6, it will normally at be a 4 mana 6/6, but regularly a 4 mana 9/9, occasionally a 4 mana 12/12 or more. This screams sudden mid-game overwhelm to me.
Buddy this is a worse patron and patron never saw play outside of the combo, in a meta with a significantly lower power level than this. Maybe there's some unseen combo that makes this insane, but I sincerely doubt it.
@@armotonpuppe2278 Grimm Patron: outside of combo warrior, you didn't have the options to actually trigger him safely. And any option to somewhat trigger them cost you a card. Gibbering Reject only costs you a hero power. And that is on top of being 4 mana instead of 5. You can trigger the dublication before attacking with the Gibbering, making the attacks practically free as they replace themselves. @@ardayazar5705 at best we'll be using a single copy to pull of a triple/quadruple deathrattle combo with 2x boom wrench in a single turn, but then again, testing dummy works better for this than safety expert since you can just deal 32 to the face if the board is empty, and testing dummy can be played for just 1 mana as you said for a devastating combo. then they still have to kill the dummy, and take another 8, which can be followed by an inventor boom for 16 more (wreck em and deck em can be added in too, if testing dummy is played for 1 mana). but for that to happen the deck cant have any other mech that costs 5 or more, and you have to generate some early pressure, otherwise reno/control warriors will easily survive the burst from safety expert or testing dummy by stacking 40 armor before you can do anything. so the deck has to be a midrange deck with early pressure, heavy draw and board control tools, where the testing dummy combo can be used to deal like 44 damage to the face in a single turn as a finisher tool. the problem is that warrior doesn't really have any class minion that can win the board early and generate pressure except backstage bouncer, so I don't see how this can be a real deck. maybe doable with the small mechs as you said, but most of the low mana mechs are ass or people will make slower, safety expert decks that wins through attrition, but those decks are unlikely to beat reno warrior, zarimi priest and insanity warlock. chemical spill is probably better than part scrapper for those decks anyway, since you can pretty much guarantee that it dies by trading it into some trash, and battleworn faceless (or even crimson expanse) can be used to summon 2 safety experts at once
