Numeron is a good deck for people to learn what all the buttons do while they work towards building a real deck

Dude your first experience of playing yu gi oh is so entertaining as you having fun in this game compared to @rarran experience in playing this he having a hard time understanding the game.

honestly, rarran's chat should have made him play numeron, or even crusadia. maybe he could handle sky striker, pure runick, ninja or floowandereeze.
doesn't matter if those decks are toxic or trolls and not really teaching him how to really play, dragon maid and salamangreat are horrible choices for beginners

Maybe learning Pokemon TCG first, is like some pre-tutorial to YGO ^^'.
Like, i first learn play Pokemon TCG, about 20 years ago, and it was easy, because there were few rules to learn and the rules were simple to learn (and it still feels like playing some special version of chess, not so much have changed). After that, about 5 years ago, YGO GX tv-show caught my eye, and then I bought some YGO cards, but i only knew anime show rules. Then not long after, I met in online, couple YGO TCG players that had more experience than me, and I wanted to play with real cards and learn more, so we agreed to meet as live in one local gamestore (that had and still is tables where people can play card-and boardgames), sense they lived they lived in a neighboring municipality.
So we meet, and we start to play, and my first deck was: YGO Starter Deck 2006. One of them used some Zombie deck, and another one used some Machine deck.
I lost many times, but after many loses, i got also my first victory and it felt awesome ^^'. And i also learn, that some tv-show rules, are correct ones, but some are not, so i learn also those correct ones, and it felt easy to learn.
But after that, I have learn that there are like, there are some same kind a rules in both, YGO TCG and Pokemon TCG, but to different card types. Like one example; in YGO TCG, you can active as many Spell cards in your turn that you like in your turn, but in Pokemon TCG, same goes with Item cards, that you can use those at many times that you like in your turn.
And i also have realize that there is same kind a rule things with many different TCG game. Like one another example is, that in Pokemon TCG, you can use one Energy per turn. In MTG, you can use one Mana per turn. And in both, there is way to break this rule. And in both, Pokemon TCG and YGO TCG, one example is that, there is a way to stop your opponent using Item/Spell cards, so stun styles are available in both games.
In YGO, spell stopper is; Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 , and in Pokemon, item stopper is: Garbodor (Dragons Exalted 54/Plasma Freeze 119/Legendary Treasures 68).
I bet that, in every TCG, there is some similarities.

Ah yes, the first time I played Numerons, I was having the time of my life just kaijuing or spawning lava golems on their boss monsters.
This deck is ironically more fun to play than Floo but requires no brain at all, which is why it’s good for beginners xD

Glad I saw this video. My personal bias against the basic OTK deck would have kept me from promoting it, but ya know, it really is the perfect mesh of simple gameplay and the wild combos that make ygo fun. It does get boring after awhile, but that's just incentive to try other, better decks in the format once you've learned this one.

Maybe we can duel together sometime? Also, I have to admit, your video editing skills are just as amazing as Mr. Beast's. Keep up the great work, I'm always looking forward to your content.

You got to have like a mentor to play this game if you're new to it, kinda is like that for other card games, but yugioh is especially bad with this.
