It's a good video for a first time window repair. I was lost at first when it came to instructions but I have found some so thanks!

Just remember... The window slides into the white clips opposite the way I showed in the video. Otherwise the rest is good.

Thanks, really I think all I need is to replace the (1999 Saturn SL2 right window) regulator slide guide, but I'm having a hard time finding the by them selves. :)

The video helped somewhat but you have to push the aluminum track towards the back of the door and NOT the front.

I have watched several of these how to videos on Saturn door skin removals or window removals that show removing all the screws to remove the outer door panel. All but 2 of mine broke the plastic tabs when I removed them. I did not see this problem on the how to videos. What did you do different?

No good answer. Sometimes the retaining nut is seized. I would try some PB Blaster the day before and try to get it into the threads. Not sure if an impact driver would help or hurt. Corrosion sucks! be sure to lubricate them when reassembling, to avoid future problems.

Wow, this must have been a completely generic motor kit.
I would never expect a motor sold as a replacement for this application to require cutting off part of the motor case; that's just lazy on the part of the manufacturer.

Yep. I agree, but needed to get the job done, so just lived with it.
