HEIGHT - I’m 5ft 6 and a standard UK size 8 for clothing reference and a half size in shoes so I often take the next size up.

I absolutely love the first outfit! I'm a big fan of anything linen and light blue is my favourite colour! 💙
Went on a four-and-a-half day trip to Venice 🇮🇹 recently and since it was handluggage only I wanted to take as little clothing with me as possible! So I packed one black linen shirt, a white one, a black flowy pair of trousers and a white one, and then a couple of random white tops. That way I could mix and match easily. Then also took a pair of tan sandals with a small heel (which I ended up wearing only once) and my most comfy running trainers 😅 as handbag I took a tan leather bowling bag which was big enough for all the essentials such as sunscreen and a bottle of water 😊

I like that you wear flat sandals and show how they can be worn at night etc, as they don’t bind the toes into a point and harm the joints and foot structure. I love boots and shoes so much, big collection of Italian shoes loafers and gold sandals was stolen so now very hard to find superb replacements at a price point given such a loss, not insured. My toes are like fingers not rolled up, no bunion and in a straight line on inner side not twisted to a point. Even sneakers except for vivobarefoot distort feet.

I recently purchased a sleeveless front tie linen midi length dress. I got the chance to visit the Monica Vinader shop in SoHo NYC last fall. Would you devote time to espadrilles? They are classic, but I'm not sure they look very good with casual skirts because they cover so much of the top of the foot.
Yes would love help with styling espadrilles - great point about covering the foot, I do tend to find them unflattering sometimes, but couldn’t tell why.

Espadrilles are so comfortable but they make you look flat-footed. I think that's my problem with them. Help!

Hi Lydia, I would love a video for outfit suggestions for attending a spring/summer wedding. Many of the outfits are totally white or mostly white, which isn't appropriate for a wedding guest. Would love to know your suggestions.
Great ideas, lovely outfits! Especially love the Dissh dress which looks like it would still be ankle length for me at 175cm. Maybe you could address slip skirts and slip dresses (not mainly styling as you recently did but options available…so often these fall at an awkward length on a taller person and/or are polyester or acetate which is like wearing a plastic bag 🥵).

Loved this! Really missed your videos while you was away. I was just wondering whether you could do a video on how to look after your clothes? I am constantly running in and out of teaching classes, and having to chuck my clothes in my bag, which get creased, especially linen! How do people keep the linen from creasing so much I do not know. I also am registered legally blind and have a guide dog which means I am prone to spilling things and getting stains on my clothes and lots of ginger hair from my doggy. I love having less and spending more on quality pieces, but sometimes I wonder whether I should just buy cheaper clothes because I don’t want to ruin them and I want to be able to look after them properly. EmmaXX😅

Love the style you teach, I’m actually saving $ by being careful with building a capsule. On another question, you have a lovely tan, I’m assuming you have a fake tan, it’s lovely. I’ve really tried to do fake tan with exfoliating, moisturizing, careful application but…it never seems to work well. Any suggestions?
