I mean anyone can make it probably be easier with a spring at first to get the rest of the ergonomics then work on adding a spring the material around the hinges had to be able to take some abuse
Evident by the comments sections on these gun videos, gun fetishists aren’t exactly the brightest group of individuals. Easy targets for overpriced, mass produced gadgets and shitty novelty products. You see a lot of that in gun culture.
Not really, a tight grip fixes the need for this, I swear you people either just complain about actual useful stuff or the 1 thing that doesn't need to be done all of a sudden is ground breaking aperently
@bunkeroregano9492 Bro, it gives it a point to apply a downward force rather than just a good grip and it doesn't get caught up on anything. You're dumb as hell
Funny part is gas pedals aren’t even for recoil control, but more of indexing. Trying to control recoil like that, by adding a leverage point to one side of the gun will result in inconsistent pressures that will not be repeatable.
I have one on my SIG P365. I've got their size #3 version. It makes a huge difference in muzzle flip, and keeping my dot on the target. I did have to take a heat gun (20 seconds) to both of my Kydex holsters though to get it to fit properly within.
That's awesome among the light rail, the suppressor hight sights for a suppressor I dont have, and the extended magazine, there just wasnt enough stuff to hang up in a high stress situation. Is there any way to sharpen that thing so it can notch the inside of my holster and maybe cut me too?
I'll have to try it, sounds logical but I'll have to see if it's practical for myself to add another piece to a carry piece , I general believe in KISS.
It is another point of contact and leverage for your suport hand helping with muzzle rise in a similar way a C clamp grip helps with recoil control in rifle shooting. A full grip is not something comprised of a single element overshadowing everything else; everything plays a part, and this allows your support hand's thumb to play one instead of just not obstructing.
NOT for $110 they’re not! I was expecting somewhere around $50, which I would have paid, because it’s a small piece of aluminum that costs $5 to make in materials and labor… maybe $10 to make with the CAD and machining tools per unit. If they lower the price on these by half, I would highly consider it!
And there went that one time a toothpick from Applebee's you THOUGHT you flicked off . Ricocheted back, fell in between your holster and recoil thingy which then prevented you from drawing and being the Sunday hero.
Does it interfere with function, as by replacing the takedown lever with something you push down it feels like it would that impede on reliability? Does anybody know more?
It’s crazy how the firearm community thinks because they cut something on a CNC that it’s somehow worth 110 bucks. You could sell these all day for 40 to 50. I would pay 40 bucks I wouldn’t pay 50 but I know a lot of people would. It’s just like how the weighted mag extensions are also anywhere from $60-$75 a piece. So how do you solve it? Well, there’s a couple different ways. You can take one of the pieces that you already own to a local machine shop and have them make you, what you desire. Or you can source overseas parts. There is no difference between a piece of aluminum cut and America or a piece of aluminum cut in China. I don’t like it either but I’m not going to pay $100 for a two dollar piece of aluminum.
There's definitely a difference between the aluminum cut in US vs the one cut in China... For starters, we know they're not cut by slaves in the US and we also know it's likely to be real 7071 aluminum and not some pot metal that just happens to feel like aluminum. You ever bought charging handles made in China? I have... They both snapped off at the front around the gas key hole after one range trip. I'm not saying these are worth $110, but they're guaranteed to be infinitely better than ones made in China and at least the money stays in the country this way.
This is cool, but I don’t know how I feel about getting to the point where I rely on it. Putting enough rounds through a pistol with that thing would almost rewrite your muscle memory I’m sure, and if it breaks or you decide to do a little field recovery and pick up somebody else’s, you’ll be out of your groove.
Outside of competition I don't see this being necessarily a great thing. You get dependent on having that and have to defend yourself with a different gun or a one hand or sub optimal grip and many guys will fall apart.
If your R&D cost so much to charge $110 it is time to sell the patient. I don’t see a flood of people paying $100 for this item. $40 feels fair. Also. I be extremely worried about this item snagging in a holster. Kinda cool though.
Yeah it’ll be great until dirt, or dust gets into the hinge and inevitably ends up breaking, and will end up getting someone killed when their gas pedal doesn’t deploy and they rely on it to control the recoil of a pistol.. just buy a gas pedal and a holster that supports gas pedals?
I'll wait for the 20 dollar ebay knock off 😅
Just looked at the price. I'm waiting. Know a guy who could make it.
I mean anyone can make it probably be easier with a spring at first to get the rest of the ergonomics then work on adding a spring the material around the hinges had to be able to take some abuse
Eh I’ll just wait for the 3D print that’s free

@@trev9168crazy right? The gun community gets robbed without a gun every day.

For real???? 😵😵
The gun industry is getting so fucking expensive for no reason.
That seems like a solution looking for a problem.
this should be a $30 part max, you guys overcharging
Looks easy enough to 3D Print.
$110 is crazy tho 🤣
Totally not worth it

@bunkeroregano9492 answer his ? Mr crickets. Why are gas pedals used in comp shooting so much 😭 😂
@@analogueoverdigital929they are used in open. Not in comps with normal guns
They saw the Antimatter Wing and said "Hold my patent."
Yup crazy. They matter it worse 😭
It's way smaller and better. And you don't need a light to use it
Well that looks interesting. Id like to try that
Funny part is gas pedals aren’t even for recoil control, but more of indexing. Trying to control recoil like that, by adding a leverage point to one side of the gun will result in inconsistent pressures that will not be repeatable.
Came here to say this in less words but you are 100% correct ✅
I thought it was good for faster follow up shots. Not felt recoil reduction
@larperator that has nothing to do with changing the axis of the gun which is what applying pressure to a gas pedal does
GUNS & TACTICS, Subscribed because your videos are so much fun!
Finally. A usable gas pedal for M&P 2.0.

How much did you pay?
Get used to it. Rely on it. Fail without it.
On smaller frames, such as the P365 X macro, pedals make a big difference. Have one, but holstering is an issue. Definitely trying one of these.
Now that's something innovative and simple.
Finally as gas pedal for the 2.0!!
That's awesome among the light rail, the suppressor hight sights for a suppressor I dont have, and the extended magazine, there just wasnt enough stuff to hang up in a high stress situation.

thanks, ill just 3d print one to try it out
I got mines which was 3d printed for $13.00 and its solid.
I'll have to try it, sounds logical but I'll have to see if it's practical for myself to add another piece to a carry piece , I general believe in KISS.
recoil control comes from the support hand pinky. it's leverage that reduces recoil.

Rainier arms.......I remember picking up parts from them will call when the were next to REMPT motors and didn't have show room.
And there went that one time a toothpick from Applebee's you THOUGHT you flicked off . Ricocheted back, fell in between your holster and recoil thingy which then prevented you from drawing and being the Sunday hero.
I need this!!!
If it replaces the take down, how am I supposed to disassemble the firearm for maintanence?
110$ ya outta ya damn mind
My 1911 double stack says make soul removing holes in the direction of threat and let recoil be your friend.
It’s like training wheels on a bicycle
You couldn't pay me to stick that on any of my handguns.
Wont recoil break the hinge quite quickly?
how long before it breaks at the hinge
Does it interfere with function, as by replacing the takedown lever with something you push down it feels like it would that impede on reliability? Does anybody know more?
Does it work with stock “MEGS”?
But, do you make one with a punisher skull on it?
whaaaaat thats pretty dope
Awesome
Push down on the take down while firing! Slide comes off; no more recoil!!!
wonder how long until the atf comes knocking on this one.
I still feel like I could easily put my thumb along the slide and cut my thumb if I'm trying to pull and use my gun quickly and under duress
Never seen those they look like they probably work pretty well.
That thing looks like it will snag on your holster preventing you from drawing your gun.
Does it fit canik

CNC is quite expensive when you don't bulk order, or just get custom cnc job in china which is just as good with whatever material you want.

Guys he used the word modular, so you know its good!
Practice helps you control recoil as well.
I been looking for one for the glock 34
Then, how do you take the gun apart for cleaning?
Push in the side on the gas pedal lever then take down as normal.
What’s the point of a gas pedal? Why wouldn’t I want the least amount of recoil?
How does it work left handed if the slide lever is only on the left side of the gun?
There’s a left hand model available
@@TexasPapa13 my thought was: how much would it interfere when shooting with your support hand
@@Casper0844 good question
I wonder how durable it is? That hinge looks like a potential failure point.
Sick
It's called command grip. Use it.
This is like the 3rd or 4th iteration of a "low profile folding gas pedal thats compatible with holsters" I've seen.
Cool
Odin armory came up with this first.
Cross armory has had this since like 2010
I hope it's made out of plastic like the other gas pedal I bought so it can break within a few shots.

Lifetime warranty for when that tiny hinge breaks? For that price, it better.
Most people don't have good fundamentals to even take advantage of this
Dudes, anyone try this?
ATF will try to reclassify it as a forward grip.😂
Me expecting a accelarator pedal
Think the whole gas pedal thing should be relegated to the competition world. I like mostly stock defensive guns.
If you need this for recoil to hit a target you need to be shooting a smaller caliber
They put a hinge on the side of your gun only the price of a whole door
Gimmick
GoGun gas pedal is half the price and way more effective
Solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Tip: keep training, focus on fundamentals. Question, why Gas Pedal?
Gimmicky
ATF: 👁️👄👁️
I've been emailing companies for 13 years... asking them to design these things. Antimatter makes a better one tbh
No way that fits in a holster thats make/model specific.
Everyone is into gas petals. Literally the first time I have heard about them.
If it stops recoil it would be a brake pedal not a gas pedal
What a gimmick. That'll break right away.
Solutions to problems that don't exist! Practice controls recoil.
UNTILL atf de decides it's technically a grip and since you cant put a grip on a pistol without pissing them off
$100 solutions to problems that don’t exist…. But they’ll make some money off of it
