hey can you make myth about "defense wins champions" and most ppl and medias claim that "offense only win game". I was baffled because to win the basketball you need to have good coach with good strategy and you can't win championship only rely on defense. Denver Nugget won championship with good offense with mediocre defense and they are ok defenders only in perfect condition. Dallas vs Wolves are great example that Dallas beat the wolves with offense and while wolves only focused on defense with poor offense strategy. Even NBA Finals Boston Celtic used good offense strategy especially big men offense that really helped to win championship last season.

Lebron is not more skilled than Michael Jordan. I cant believe Stevphen A. Smith said that. Lebron flops, travels, and charges. Most of his points are 3 ft from the basket. He has more game winning shots than Lebron. MJ was a more skilled defender than Lebron and committed less turnovers.
The reason the Bulls would have beaten the Warriors is because they had the greatest scorer in NBA history in Michael Jordan and they played defense. The Warriors only had Green on defense. That was it. The Bulls could and would implement full court pressure which means Steph Curry would be hounded by Scottie or MJ throughout the game. Im sorry but Steph wont be scoring as much as people would think. Also the Bulls were great at having the other team commit turnovers and getting steals by guarding the passing lane. The defensive pressure would kill the Warriors offense.

DEBUNKING THE MYTH OF MICHAEL JORDAN’S INVINCIBILITY
      What an engaging topic!
Michael Jordan's "invincible perfection" is such an intriguing concept, and this video dives deep into the myths and realities that surround MJ’s legacy. There's no doubt that Jordan was an incredible player, but the way the media has built this almost mythical image of him as an invincible figure is fascinating-and slightly misleading.
First, let’s acknowledge the fact that Jordan’s career was filled with both triumphs and defeats. It's easy to get swept up in the narrative of his six championships, but let's not forget the many seasons that didn't end with him holding the trophy. The 1988, 1989, and 1990 series against the Pistons, for example, were filled with struggles that highlight Jordan’s humanity. These losses aren’t just footnotes; they’re critical parts of his story that showcase his perseverance and growth.
The focus on Jordan's willpower is another interesting point. While there's no denying that Jordan had an indomitable will, attributing his success solely to this unquantifiable trait oversimplifies his achievements and undermines the contributions of his teammates, especially Scottie Pippen. The notion that Jordan "created" Pippen is particularly absurd. Pippen was already on the path to stardom before joining the Bulls, and his impact was immediately felt during his rookie season. The idea that Jordan could win championships singlehandedly, without Pippen’s contributions, just doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.
Moreover, the mythologizing of Jordan often ignores the context of his era. The NBA in the 90s was different from today, with fewer superstar-studded teams. Jordan had the luxury of dominating in an environment where having two All-Star-level players on a team was a significant advantage. The comparison to modern teams, like the 2017 Warriors, who had multiple All-Stars, underscores how team dynamics have evolved.
The “invincible” Jordan myth also contributes to harmful stereotypes about leadership and teamwork. Jordan's aggressive, sometimes abusive, approach to motivating his teammates is often glorified, but this behavior would be considered toxic in many modern settings. Winning doesn’t justify bad behavior, and it’s crucial to separate the man from the marketing.
Ultimately, Jordan's legacy should be appreciated in its entirety, with all its complexities and contradictions. The real Jordan was a phenomenal player who faced challenges and relied on his teammates. By acknowledging his humanity, we can appreciate his true greatness and learn more nuanced lessons from his career.
So, here's to the real MJ-flawed, human, and exceptionally talented.
What’s your take on this portrayal of Jordan?

Regarding your pinned comment, kudos to you for finally getting this series up and running. Sometimes, delays happen, but your dedication to quality content is evident and much appreciated.
I noticed a comment here about the myth “defense wins championships,” and boy, does that strike a chord. Basketball, unlike what many might claim, isn’t a zero-sum game where offense and defense exist in isolation. Look at the 2023 Denver Nuggets-an exemplar of how a potent offense, even with just decent defense, can clinch titles. Or consider the 2024 Boston Celtics, who brilliantly leveraged their big men and offensive strategy to secure their championship. It's a testimony to the importance of having a multifaceted game plan. Indeed, great coaching and strategic planning are pivotal.
Addressing the notion of turnovers making a bad player, it’s a misconception that needs debunking. Turnovers do not single-handedly define a player's worth. Many legendary players, like Magic Johnson and LeBron James, have high turnover rates because they handle the ball so much and take significant risks. These players contribute in myriad other ways that more than compensate for their mistakes.
Your channel does an excellent job dissecting these nuances and I believe continuing to explore and bust these myths will only enrich the understanding of basketball for your audience. Cheers to more insightful content!

History: In the 1990 ECF Michael Jordan took the same number of shot attempts (27) as Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant combined and scored almost 3x as many points (Jordan: 31pts Grant & Pippen: 12pts) Also in this elimination game, Michael Jordan contributed to 80% of the Bulls total number of made field goals (Jordan: 13 FGM+ 9 Asts Bulls Team: 28 FGm)
Levisionist History: Michael Jordan was actually a detriment to his team. Evidenced by this clip of Isaiah Thomas, clipped off a video where he’s describing the defensive strategy his team devised solely to slow down Michael Jordan, says “Michael Jordan was a reluctant passer.”

The Jordan GOAT aura will slowly go away. Every couple decades there’s a new GOAT, new generations come in and enhance the game even further. This generation is LeBron and in 20-30 years we will look at LeBron the same way old heads look at Jordan. IMO the 2 actual goat contenders for me are Magic and Wilt

Another player that's overlooked in the "all Jordan needs is one other all star to win championships" is *Toni Kukoc.*
Kukoc was the best player in Europe before he came to the Bulls and he was coming off their bench.
A 6'11" shooter, scorer, playmaker, capable of 18/6/6 on good shooting splits is your 6th man.
I don't believe he was ever officially an all star, but he was all star level (like a Lamar Odom, Andre Igoudala, prime Robert Horry level player).
You have Scottie Pippen (like a perimeter version of Bill fucking Russell), a GOAT level defender in Dennis Rodman, a coach who would go on to win 5 more titles without Jordan (Phil Jackson) AND the best Euro coming off your bench?
But all he needs is one all star lol.
