I have a 2022 Model 3 Performance with the same sound system. It definitely is a great stock system. My wife has a 2021 Model Y performance same sound system I believe. Tesla is indeed killing it with the sound systems.
A quick question, I have a tesla M3 2019, and it seems to me that the sound isn't as qualitative as it was, I have no sound coming out of my door (big) speaker, do you have sound on those ? Maybe they are broke :(
I got a the model 3 2022 with premium audio and at first the sound was really loud like crazy loud like you said with great bass but recently I’ve noticed that the volume sounds really low now even on highest volume settings

It includes all of the front speakers and the speakers on the dash no subwoofer or A pillar speakers with the tweeters in the front. The model 3 long range comes with the premium sound system 13 speakers as of 2022 used to be 14 which has all 4 on the dash the tweeter in the middle of the dash with the midrange counts as one speaker now for the 2022 models it also includes the door tweeters, woofers and the rear parcel shelf speakers that the rwd model 3 doesn’t get. Then of course the subwoofer. Hoped this helped
Super helpful! I wasn't impressed at all with the sound system at the dealership no matter how i tweaked the EQ it always sounded bass heavy and muffled. However, I wasn't able to try Tidal so I'm hoping things sound clearer with that.
from the factory, they just upgraded the model 3 audio system and now it has 17 speakers and 2 subwoofers on long range and performance models, so this videos is not up to date anymore
The last update implemented subwoofer setting alone, not bass only. Honestly don't know if it works properly. Cause i fell more bass after twisting bass up then twisting subwoofer setting up. Does model y 2022 has same speakers as model 3?
there is small difference if changing sub settings, I put it at 5, same as regular bass. Yes, MY has the exact same speakers/amps/sub system as the 3, though they just recently removed the middle dash speaker, now it's 13 instead of 14 as before (14 speakers on this video), I don't know how much of an impact that will do tho.

My model 3 have speakers underneath the dash for passenger and driver side I counted a total of 16 speakers in my 2019 model 3 long range
