I am not a great guitarist. There will be covers that are better, cleaner, more technical, and use better tones than mine. I'm just having a good time playing guitar, and this is an excuse for me to learn songs well enough to play them in one take, all the way through, and without reading from tabs or anything. In this cover, I was a little out of time during the bridge/breakdown, but that's okay, because perfection isn't really the point here. I actually don’t know many songs by Deftones, but I believe that a lot of their songs sound pretty similar to this. I did another cover of the song My Own Summer (Shove It) that you can listen to, and other than that I would say just listen to the albums White Pony and Around The Fur.

Can i get your amp settings? that tone is sick man!!!
I’m using the Spark app from positive grid. It’s a Mesa Boogie style amp with the Gain at 6.5, Bass at 5, Mids at 6, Treble at 6, and Volume at 7.5. I’m then using a boss OD-3 style overdrive pedal with the Level at 6.5, Drive at 4, and Tone at 7. Then it’s just a little compression and a noise gate on top. If you want to look at the exact preset, I’m pretty sure you don’t actually need a spark amp to download the app for free and access the tonecloud. The preset name is ZTC - Deftones. Hope this helps, and thanks for the compliment! Today’s actually my 18th birthday, so I’m glad people actually appreciate my efforts!

I actually didn't use any effects for the intro, anything you hear is probably from the original song since I'm just playing along to it. I'm just using a Mesa Boogie style amp with a Boss OD-3 style overdrive throughout the whole song. Thanks for the compliment though!
